Just Bad
Way to complicated for flashcards. No where dose it tell you how to add flashcards to a deck. They want you to watch 15 minutes for a tutorial. I understand there is a learning curve to this app, however it takes too long how to figure out how to do the basics.
SO CONFUSING
WASTE OF MONEY.
Doesn’t work with “Always Allowed” in Apple Screentime
If you have to have parental restrictions, limiting what apps are allowed and not allowed on your children’s phone, for some reason, Flashcards deluxe doesn’t work. Might have something to do with the name, because it is listed in the “always allowed” section of screen time as “Flashcards” Instead of “Flashcards Deluxe”.
I have used this program for years, but I cannot recommend it for use with children since you can’t whitelist it.

SSL error
I have tried multiple times to get this app to work, I always get an SSL error saying my connection to the servers is not secure. I have deleted and reinstalled the app on my iPad and MacBook. I have used my personal Wi-Fi and and my school’s. I have tried turning off Wi-Fi and using cell data and nothing works. I am disappointed and feel that I have wasted my money on this app.
Garbage app
No clear way to create the kinds of cards where you have to enter the answer with a keyboard (if there exists a way to do this it isn’t clear at all) - and no clear way to mark self-scored cards as wrong. These are very BASIC features that a flash card program needs - and I am baffled that a program lacking these features could get even two stars - let alone the high rating that this one got.

Very poor app
Really hard to use. Not even really flash cards. Not ready for prime time. Complete waste of money!
Disappointed
I really liked the app at first, but suddenly I realized that cards had disappeared from one flash card deck, and another deck totally disappeared from the app. After all the hard work I had put into creating the cards, once I realized how unreliable the app was, I stopped using it. So disappointed!
Can’t make cards
I’ve been back and found through this app, gone to help and can’t figure out how to just make a * card. I finally made a title, but it does open a card to write on. You can’t just go in and open “cards” and write on them. Waste. They made it too complicated and I refuse to have to waste hours figuring it out.
TTS inconsistent
So I paid for this after testing the free version. The TTS function is inconsistent, working on some decks and not others, and sometimes even working on certain words and not other despite them being in the same deck. Extremely disappointing as I’d planned to use this app to study Japanese kanji.
Worst ever
With this ap it is very difficult to create flash cards, and even more difficult to use them. This ap is supposed to be the ultimate in flashcards, but it is so complicated that it is nearly impossible to create/use the simplest deck of word on one side and definition on the other. I do not recommend this ap.

I created several decks on my iPad and am trying to sync them to my iPhone. There doesn’t seem to be an easy way to do this.

Waste of money! It feels impossible to make any flashcards with this app!
This app is super confusing and it doesn’t feel like a flashcard making app at all. I tested out the different settings but I couldn’t make a single functional flashcard. It’s unclear how I can even study using it. I watched the in-app tutorials but they don’t teach you how to make flashcards. I decided to purchase this app because one of the pictures advertises this as an app where users can upload multiple images on a flashcard. I was searching for a flashcard making app that allows users to upload multiple pictures. This app allows up to 5 pictures. I would have preferred 6 but 5 is close enough, so I don’t have a problem with that. My problem is that it’s extremely confusing to use this app. It doesn’t show you the front of the card and the back of the card. It gives you a confusing page where you can enter information but it’s unclear how that information will be used to create a card. I tested out what it was like to make a flashcard by adding pictures and some text but couldn’t add an answer to the question. It came out to be a jumbled up mess that I don’t understand at all. All I wanted was to upload some pictures in the front of the card and add the answer in the back of the card. This would be useful for classes like Anatomy where I need to see several pictures of a specific bone or muscle in the front of the card and add the answer to the back of the card. Nothing worked and I couldn’t get anything useful from this app. The reason I gave this app two stars instead of one star is because I see that the developer has worked to add some advanced features to this app. Unfortunately, the app doesn’t feel usable at all. Hopefully it will improve. My suggestion to the developer of this app is to try to make this app more intuitive. At the very least, try to clearly show what is going to be the front of the card and what will be the back of the card on the page where we enter the information. I need to know what’s the ‘front’ and what’s the ‘back’ in order to enter the information correctly to create a flashcard. Maybe you can add some clear labels that show what information will be on the front of the card and what will be on the back. Some colors could help too in order to make the interface look clearer. The most important is proper labeling and visually separating the sections. Even though I read the options that were there, I still couldn’t make any sense of it. They seemed totally irrelevant. It didn’t even make sense how to make cards like the ones in the example decks provided in the app. So, please consider making some things about this app more understandable. As I mentioned here, at the very least show us what is going to be in the front of the card and what will be in the back of the card. I really wanted to like this app but for now it doesn’t seem usable at all.
