Flight aware will not work if you’re using a VPN. Expect error messages.

The latest update is horrible!
What was once an easy app to use with tons of information, is now so complicated and unorganized! I am so disgusted with this update that I will delete the app and not use it again! How disappointing!!

They’ve made logging in a nightmare. The 2FA email takes too long and times out. Then requires an authentication via authenticator app. Are you kidding me?. Just allow me to turn on a notification…..
Login nightmare
I have a ton of app logins. However FlightAware has the absolute dumbest and cumbersome login layout of any app I’ve ever used.
Insane security requirements
Used to love this app, but layers of security requirements required to sign in have made it unusable. Every time I am asked for code by email, then Authenticator and then, more often than not, log in glitches and I have to start all over. Cancelled my subscription.
Price increase
Raising your prices by a full 50% to simply not have ads is asinine and ridiculous. Good riddance to you.
The only thing I needed…
Was an alert if my friend’s flight to Doha was cancelled. It did not alert me when it was cancelled. Uninstalled.
Keyboard covers screen can’t search flight numbers
iOS need to fix flight search; keyboard covers screen can’t select airline; has been happening for several updates now
Can’t login
What the hell is wrong with the log in process. After login everything is great. But login continues to be exhausting.
Can’t Update Anymore???
Can no longer use your app to track flights. Says to “Update” but it won’t! 😑 WTH?
My routes bruh
I can’t even get a portion of an our to order route just another vor and those routes are not accurate
Bad app
App has serious problems adding the correct day of a particular flight of mine. I’ve tried a dozen times to add tomorrow’s flight and it keeps adding today’s flight to flightracker!

Expensive and repetitive questions, complicated to find flights
App Security is Cumbersome
I had to go through the same security login steps multiple times. This makes this unworkable especially running a VPN.
Buggy, does not meet expectations
Why is it so buggy? There is a helicopter hovering over my neighborhood, so I open the app and look. First it's to the east, then it's to the west, then it's to the east, then it's to the west, depending on how far in your zoomed on the map. And then sometimes it just jumps randomly. Which is it? This app also has less information about each aerial vehicle than the other apps I have used. It doesn't say who's operating the vehicle. Pretty disappointing overall.
Forced update
Sluggish, doesn’t update plane location like the older version. Will be looker for better.
Not so hot
FlightAware has shown jets in the air in situations when I know the passengers are still on the ground because I’m talking to them by phone
3FA makes app burdensome to open
Password + email code + authenticator. Takes too long to make the app easily usable.
Useless waste of time
When I first downloaded this two months ago - it was great. I could track any flight, any time. Now, it won’t let me do anything. The filter options are limited, and it doesn’t even let me choose an airline - American Airlines is the only option. This wasn’t the case two months ago. All I want to do is track my brother’s flight on SW tomorrow, and I can’t. I just wasted 40 minutes trying.
Difficult to Use
Why the 2 factor authentication just to log in to see my saved flights? Too difficult to use. Have to wait for the code in email. I’m busy in my email with the carriers email I’m looking at. Why not remember my login on my phone? Just ridiculous and renders the app useless
What happened
You used to be helpful now your not. Trying to find all flights from one airport to another in 2 days and the app is not very helpful.
Most recent updates don’t function
There have been a few recent updates that have not functioned for me. Seems like there is an issue with the app development. Used to be good.
