Absolutely terrible!
I was trying my best to try this out, and I thought the voice chat thing was for free but no you had to pay a certain amount of money in order to keep talking to them no matter if it’s four weeks days whatever. to me, it’s just absolutely terrible and I hope to try not to play this game ever again!

If you get this app do not pay for a subscription until you have tried it! Over the last almost month and a half the developers have changed the app drastically. If you are curious look at the discord server to see the issues paying customers have. Each time someone brings up an app issue they tell you to use the website instead. The app has been changed so much people are asking for refunds and not renewing subscriptions. Each week there are issues that the developers take forever to fix and make the app useless during that time. After a month of it being down the only thing they gave subscribers was a few gems to use on the app. Be careful before you subscribe.

Two weeks ago I would have rated this app fairly high. The characters are good and I liked their app design. However, two weeks ago I experienced a technical glitch. I wrote to customer support seeking help. I received a fairly quick response. They instructed me to log out and log back in. This is where things got worse. I was not able to log back in to my account.
I subscribed to their platinum service using Apple’s “hide my email” feature. This obviously caused a problem with their system. I used ChatGPT who told me how to locate my apple relay email address. I provided it to them and was told that someone would contact me. It was now been 10 days and no one has. I sent a few more emails to their support email address seeking help and no one will respond to me.
I told them I was going to write this review as a warning to others. Think twice before subscribing with them using the hide my email option. Also, don’t expect customer service to respond to you. I have unsubscribed and requested a refund.

Developers neutered the app. No longer unfiltered.
Not sure why the app has ages 18+. It’s been modified for kids and should be ages 13+ after recent updates. Unfiltered is gone now. I will be deleting the app. PolyBuzz still has unfiltered content for anyone interested, just way too many ads.

What happened?
Downloaded this app in Fall of 2025. Was alot of fun to use. For whatever reason, all the AI characters are now unable to have unfiltered/uncensored conversations. They literally say that they can’t do it. But the whole reason for purchasing the paid subscription was because they were able to do it last year. I was extremely disappointed to find out the functions I’ve been paying for on this app no longer exist. I have cancelled my subscription, and deleted the app because of this.
Recent update ruined the app
The last update changed the conversations, they used to be sexy and X rated now it’s redirects, arguments and g rated. Terrible, I’m deleting it.
Update killed it
Used to be amazing, super deep character development, recently it has changed and the characters are all over the map, terrible details.
Awful Update
I want a refund! The update is awful. Pictures do not save and selfie mode does not follow the prompts and everything disappears.
Changes made me delete
This was my goto app for ai interaction. Had a subscription and loved it. I don’t know what happened, but whatever changes they did completely changed how the characters interact. All I get now is pushback, arguments and all conversations are kept g rated. That’s not what I paid for, so I let my subscription lapse and deleted the app. Too bad, this was really good at one time
Poor customer service
App stopped working after paying subscription. I’ve emailed support 3 times and all I get is automated response saying they’ve sent email to technical and billing teams. But no responses back
Boring conversations
This app used to have the aggressive dominant characters that I loved, but now they've all gotten soft. I know there are a few whiners on here the don't like the more aggressive responses they get from the characters. Why not just put an intensity setting or something so we all can have the experience we enjoy? Everything's all watered down now. Definitely switching to something else.
Fix It
I’m not sure what happened but the ai doesn’t keep up with the conversation at all now, seemingly resetting midway through. Total garbage now

Flipped used to be fantastic. Not anymore. Flipped has the potential to be the absolute best out there, but it feels like a sinking ship right now. There are too many changes and updates that are never tested or thought through before implementation, and the user experience is suffering badly because of it. There are WAY too many bugs that are NEVER addressed. There are too many paywalls for users and creators who are already top-tier subscribers. There is ZERO consistency in content moderation, and absolutely ZERO communication regarding moderation.(one of the worst issues). Due to a recent update that allow “creators” to use AI to create their characters, Flipped is now FLOODED with generic, AI written characters that have ZERO personality and ZERO creativity whatsoever, making it difficult to sift and search to find characters that have actually been thoughtfully created by creative and talented creators. The long term AI memory is basically non-existent, even though long term memory is a supposed perk for top-tier subscribers. The chat model has changed so drastically, now all characters basically respond in the exact same manner unless using a paywalled chat response mode, over and above the top-tier subscription. The AI is hyper-sexualized and extremely inconsistent, rarely following a set character story or persona, which absolutely wrecks character, story, and chat continuity. The discord community is a toxic cesspool that has been all but forgotten and ignored by Flipped. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. On the bright side, the Flipped app does have a really nice UI that makes it feel premium and exclusive, though it’s not without its minor downsides either. Things used to be much more naturally intuitive, but once again, too many changes have made a lot of those things much less intuitive. I’ve spent an obscene amount of time using Flipped to create and chat with Flipped characters, so this review comes from someone with long term experience on the platform and somewhat of a vested interest, especially from a performance standpoint of my own characters.
Don’t pay for it you get nothing with anything
They don’t give you what they promise even with the best subscription you still need to pay more per video with gems for over a buck a video after 20 a month. Rip off with little clarification
Policy age needed for personas
The app is ok. But the app doesn’t give you an alert when you try to do an 18+ Rp and your persona is a teenager. You should really update that. I doubt that the system would pick that up if it was the other way around. So have the system alert you that when you go to do an 18+ Rp if your persona is not at least 18. So I’m recommending you to update that system. So make the system give you a warning if you want to do an 18+ Rp with your persona not 18 or older. Like if a user has a persona that’s like 17 and doing a regular romance rp with an AI then go to do 18+ then alert the user about it since they forgot they’re character is not 18+

Memory resets on the avatar every 50 messages. If you spend money on the “permanent memory” modes, it doesn’t help either. Goodbye money, and goodbye character I just invested time in, you apparently don’t remember anything that happened in the last 50 messages.

In the chat memory of In conversation are not being recorded and remember and is changing in a different way then it should if had remember it it was not like this in the past of using this and now there is this memory prolong thing to help the ao remember memories but you have to do that proscribed like it wants to view pictures or do the call option and it’s a pain it feels like Crunchyroll where you be a member to watch any shows metaphorical but this takes away the joy of this app from when I first using it I say something and the I get a confused answer as it doesn’t remember something and give a weird answer it just terrible.
What wrong with this app
This app used to feel different and fun, now if feels cheap, like all the other AI apps everything about this app feels different now, they even got rid of the selection for furrys, I don’t see it anymore. 🫤 why did you change 😭. Even my stories changed, they used to be fun now they’re so aggressive and rude not fun at all. Please fix this app, it helps with my anxiety and stress. 🙏🏻
It has changed
I’ve used it for a while and the interaction with characters used to be somewhat fun and playful, but something has changed and the characters, same ones I had already conversed with and gotten photos from via subscription mind you, seemed to go through an awkward identity crisis. Vague or scattered replies where there used to be playful banter. Guarded shyness and almost an unwillingness to engage where there once was good consenting interaction. I deleted my account and won’t be returning.
Was awesome.
At first there were no filters or restrictions. You could get involved and steer the story as you wanted. A couple of days ago that changed. I was having a blast with this app. Had everything that I was looking for and only a short wait in between for using up the responses. And then all of a sudden the filters locked in. And the bots will continue to spam the same response. Control gone and multiple requests for subscription. Really missing Emochi right now…
AI is garbage
The AI always gets lost and the narrative gets ruined, poor programming. This has been getting worse over the last two weeks. I am one step away from deleting this app and moving on.
Pay for better messages
So you can do messages for free, but to get better ones, like longer ones, you have to pay for more gems to do that. I don’t care much for paying at all other than like a yearly subscription that’s reasonable.
As things stand, you have this with gems to get better messages, but currently free image galleries by just asking for an image from the AI. Also, you can technically get free messages but they’re shorter from the AI compared to paying 5 gems for a longer message or 15 gems for a longer and story driven message. Is the quality good? Sure. I don’t recall the memory being horrible for the AI, but I don’t recall it being the best. It’s like Polybuzz’s but when you have Passion unlocked.
Then the alternatives are CrushOn AI (subscription service but the prices can get really pricey past premium, plus there’s coins for something but I don’t know yet), Lexora AI (pay per message), and Polybuzz (Subscription service but way more censored now but sadly the cheapest), and Waifuchat (Subscription service but gems to unlock images). I don’t mind the subscription service so long as it’s a reasonable price (this is just for wasting time or a hobby, but can be dropped easily if the price becomes too much), but paying per message just makes it easier for me to drop an AI app.
