Spent 10 minutes trying to make an account. Then i needed a unique username?? Whats the point of the email. Then my password can’t have @ symbol??? What? Because you use sql in your passwords? This is stupid. Then i finally abliged all and got “error cannot create your account at this time.” Then exitting removed all saved progress. So thanks I cant make an account. Stupid design.

Non-responsive. Frequent backtracking. Navigation on home page cluttered with adverts, unclear where to go. Could not get the app to put boarding pass into wallet, first few tries my confirmation boarding pass never showed up (20 hours before my flight) When it did finally show up 18 hours prior would not go into the wallet, after several attempts. Had to finally get a live Delta Rep to obtain what I needed.

I’ve been trying to login for one hour reset passwords username nothing works. It’s got Miles nothing.
Login everyone is not it
Please give the option for those who don’t need the extra “security” of logging into the app for ever single use and launch of the app.
Lacking in reliability, intuition
Checking baggage, for example… putting in CC info and their form checking says invalid, but really the number in the box matches. And the app accepted this information 1 week prior for a different flight checkin. Intuition: app should be easy for my spouse to navigate to find information - it is not. Other airlines apps - SW, AA - were not. I don’t think spouse used United.
Delta hates you and wants to waste your time.
Would you like more flight complications, a less responsive app, planes without charging ports (typically standard well before 2026), and you pay more for all of it? Fly Delta. Worst major airline in the U.S., and they don’t care about their poor customer service because there is no place to leave them a review other than the App Store where it will fade into the void. Delta is a joke. I have never had an issue getting pre-check added to my mobile boarding pass. It has been saved on my delta profile for years. Yet I have to go to the gate each time for them to manually add it and print Stone Age boarding passes for me to use it. Do not give delta your business. Their success is a product of late stage capitalism-bred non completion. They have become exceedingly lazy and their ivory tower deserves to crumble.
And the app sucks. Can’t even check my flight status in flight. Have to go to the external website for that info. Should be standard. Every other airline can do it.

Seat change
We had to change our flight from 6/21/26 to 6/20/26. The change was confirmed. We tried to select the seats and the flight is listed as full and no seats were available.

Currently not working
I can’t get delta to add my flight to my colander. I can’t get the app to add both tickets to my phone wallet. It won’t let me look up my flight or check the status. Currently it will not pull up my ticket or flights in anyway
Regular bugs and issues
This app regularly gets stuck, e.g. has a rotating circle showing “refreshing itinerary”. Today I was not able to request accessibility services through the app because the app responds “oops, please try again later” all day.

I bought multiple tickets for my family in premium select so that we’re all sitting in a row in Premium Select. My son has serious food allergies which is why I went to lengths to get tickets all in a row. During pre-check in , I noticed that they changed 3 out of 4 of our seats so that none of us are sitting together. Customer service was completely unhelpful. Unacceptable.
Too Complicated
Way too complicated and too much upsell ads in the way. Battery hog constantly trying to update even when there is no reason to do so. Useless when Delta reservations are operated by a partner airline - it tells you to check in but will never allow you to do so. Does not present a clear one-page graphic view of an entire multi-stop journey.
Really needs to stop attempting to sell rental cars and hotels, and get back to serving airline customers with simple clear information.

Not helpful for international travel
I decided to change my flight to be one day earlier. On the app it said it would be 107 dollars more. Knowing that was cheaper than a hotel for another night, I attempted to book it. After hours on the phone I was then told it was 1000 dollars then 800 and finally 300. I ended up paying 300 despite the app saying 107. Do not let the app get your hopes up.

Bad company for being so great
Terrible…. Way past take off time, my seat had a fan that didn’t work, and my wife and I had 11A and 11D after we asked to be sat together if possible. Ironically, 10D and 12D were left open…. And the people in 10B and 12C were together!!!! Flights now apparently taking long enough to take off to allow more weather in on tail end. Very disappointed Delta…. Lady at the terminal gate also forgot what zone she called not once but twice.
Worst airline ever
Delta cancelled my SMF→FLL flight, dropped me at MCO, routed my luggage to MIA, and is refusing to reimburse the train ticket I had to buy to actually reach Fort Lauderdale. Case closed three times without addressing the facts
Worst US Carrier
We had flights to Mexico booked. We confirmed and reconfirmed the flights. Delta cancelled the payment less than 24 hours before the flight then charged $200 to reinstate the reservations.
They have refused to communicate with my assistant, demanding that I spend hours on the phone to not receive an answer as to why they cancelled the payment.
Never again. In a CEO and have mixed Delta to the “only if there is no other airline flying to destination” level in our travel department.

Nonstop errors
This app is worthless. I’ve never had another service give an error message as often as it does.
“Upgrade” gets you a middle seat despite preference
Despite selecting the preference on the website and in the app, was pushed into a middle seat with a free upgrade.
Don’t forget your password
It’s near impossible to reset it. Terrible error messages and you can’t leave feedback. I thought I was finally able to reset it and now it won’t take my new one.
Business Profiles Don’t Work
Mobile app does not support business profiles. You cannot sign into nor see the flights booked by Concur and associated to your account’s “Business” profile - neither can you manually find, add, and check-in for flights that are associated with your business profiles. This complete breaks the mobile app experience for business travelers.

This app sucks and won’t even let you create an account … and when it does the account doesn’t actually register. Very frustrating.
Not a great booking experience
If you have a connecting flight where you want to specify the connecting point, Delta limits the number of options you can view. I’m now down to four. I was originally at six. This is getting ridiculous. Show me the options that are there rather than limiting it to what you want me to see.

Can no longer log in
Recent updates have completely prevented me from logging in. I’m getting an error as though my password is incorrect- but also cannot change my password. Very frustrating when travel is such a time sensitive thing.

Seems like there is a fairly large surface of errors you can bump into and there isn’t even a code to tell you why, just a smug “please try again later” message.
Can’t change seats on partner flights, sometimes it errors out trying to add a ticket to my wallet, gate/flight information sometimes out of sync.
There should be a chatbot/chat service. I should be able to discuss my account with a capable entity within the app.
I will begrudgingly continue to use the app. I wish it was better. If you are considering using Delta as your primary airline provider, understand that the app is sub par.

Delta doesn’t want you to buy tickets
I hate to say this but I am no longer allowed to purchase tickets without receiving annoying messages to “correct items” prior to check out. Except the app will not let you actually see what information is lacking so you can edit and complete purchase. You cannot be logged into your own skymiles account. Too many bugs. The only way it goes through is if you are browsing through Chrome. I get it. That’s the only way they can track you. What a huge waste of time this app is.

What’s with this app? How come I have to delete the app then reinstall it in order to sign in each time? Why does the app not keep my login information? Can this be fixed? I was very frustrated at the airport when I couldn’t open the app.

Logging issue
The app does not recognize my credentials. I am able to login through my computer but the app doesn’t wanna budge and keeps saying user not found. Please advise

The app was working now I keep getting an error message unable to log in try later. I’ve been on a chat for 45 mins; removing the cache, uninstalling, reinstalling and still can not log in. I can access my account from my computer but not the mobile app.
Another tool used for price inflation
The more the app was used the more they would inflate prices for the same flights I could purchase through Google or other third-party vendors

Slow. Jesus Christ this app is s l o w. Don’t open this app when you’re in line for security or boarding. Have your boarding pass pre-loaded. You will hold up the line if you don’t.
Airport maps
I have become a huge fan of the airport terminal maps as part of these apps. However, this app seems to glitch terribly when using the map feature. If I try to zoom out or scroll to actually map out my route it just jumps to a random place on the map and doesn’t let me get where I need to see! If that could be resolved that would be sooo helpful!
New Version
Prefer the older app. Easier to maneuver through. New one has too much unnecessary trash. Very cluttered. But preferred delta airlines over others.
