App sucks
I tried to sign up and submitted the log in and personal info then got an error message when I submitted everything. When I try to start over, it tells me I already have an account but my log in credentials are not valid even though I use the same info I just submitted. I can’t get a password reset even when I use the SkyMiles number you sent in an email. So I will have to enter as a guest from here forward and not receive the benefits I am trying to sign up for

On the day of check-in, Delta will block you, claiming your payment wasn't confirmed (despite the pre-authorization) and then force you to rebook the exact same flight at a higher price. In my opinion, this borders on illegal and their customer service is as clueless as ever.

Not for Peasants
Been flying with Delta for a decade and their service is declining for the average person.
If it wasn’t bad enough that the app has issues while actively using it to board, the staff is becoming less friendly and the in-flight service is becoming non-existent.
If you’re not paying extra for first class, you do not matter.

App constantly freezes while trying to do simple tasks or login.

Failed to synchronize my gate. Almost missed my flight. Support requests need to go through text.

A recent change highlights the planned departure instead of boarding time effectively making the app worthless. This is a recent update and renders the app worthless once inside the airport. Get a paper pass to make sure you understand the actual boarding time or switch airlines.

This app used to work perfectly now it doesn’t recognize me freezes up and has absolutely no value anymore. What’s going on?
Can’t add checked bags
Tried multiple ways, still can’t add checked bags b through the app. It sends you into a cycle of checking in when you try.

I have tried to add a bag on checking for three hours via website chat twice and was transferred to someone that does not have the authority to fix the problem. It keeps saying on your site sorry there is a problem
Atrocious Booking Functionality
This app was great until they moved to the weird moving grid for finding flights. I believe it’s modeled after JetBlue’s UI. Either way it’s the most non intuitive, garbage piece of modern software I have ever encountered. Literally booked an alternate airline over it and I have status on Delta.

Same issue as previous comment. iPhone X cannot update to iOS 17 as required for this app. Makes me wonder if Apple is scheming to manipulate people into buying new phones. Disappointing!

Apple Wallet Integration Broken
Despite Apple wallet set to automatically update, passes won’t update (even manually) without removing and re-adding pass. Additionally, passes are added in incorrect order. Please fix

I just updated this app and facial recognition is not working ad well as the use of my password. I have a long travel day and this is not helping. ☹️
Bad user experience
It has been terrible to use this app. It forced to update while I was checking in my bag and after update it removed my trip details and even I tried to find my trip with tic number or confirmation code, it keeps giving error! I had to to website to get my ticket and confirm the bag check in went well all while trying go through security check. Next time I will print my ticket and not rely on this Jurassic age app.

Their app won't open. I can't see my flight details. I have all my login credentials, but their system is hopeless.

Booking flights doesn’t always work through the app
I tried to book a flight through the app using skymiles. When I got to the checkout screen, it said my skymiles covered the flight and I only need to pay for taxes and fees separately. Ok, done. Hits the loading screen for what feels like two to three minutes. Then I get an error code saying it couldn’t be booked without any explanation or reason. Then to my surprise I see a charge on my credit card for the taxes and fees….surely that’s wrong. Tried a few more times and always the same result. Had to call delta for what was over 1.5 hours with a bunch of holds in between and the agent was able to book the flight for me and also tell me that the tax charges would be reversed within 7 days. 1.5 hours just to deal with something that could’ve been done in a fraction of the time. The agent told me that it most likely didn’t take my reservation on the app because I didn’t have enough skymiles to cover the trip. Ok, fine but why didn’t the app just tell me that to begin with and instead proceeds to collect taxes and fees from my card as if everything is fine? Fix your app and process before letting people use this terrible app. It’s 2026 and I can’t book a flight through an airlines app because it’s buggy to the core. Shame how much profit these companies are making pushing out such a garbage UI and experience.
Simply does not work
Years ago I gave up on tuis app because signing in always seemed to be a problem. Then last year it seems they improved and allowed sign in via fingerprint/passkey.
But now I’ve been trying for weeks to sign in in anticipation to am international trip.
Tried deleting and re-adding app. Tried resetting PW via website, but still couldn’t log in. Clicked forgot PW and it just says “sorry couldn’t process request at this time”.
Have attempted dozens of times. The app does not work.

The app never loads any useful info. In theory it has lots, but in reality I’ve only ever gotten errors, spinning loading screens, and other useless garbage. I’m amazed it is still possible to make an app this bad in 2026, unless they were actively trying to see how terrible it could be.
Let me get my mobile boarding pass without the app
Absolutely absurd that I have to download an app to get my mobile boarding pass. Using that to covertly collect data is unethical and obnoxious. I will not ever recommend delta.

Horrible App
I spent about 10 mins trying to log in only for it to tell me I had to create a new account. I filled in every piece of information it asked, which was a lot, only for it to say it couldn’t complete my request. Absolutely ridiculous.

The app is constantly glitching between different screens and isn’t saving information between. Also the company is greedy and corrupt
Worst US airline
I absolutely hate flying with Delta. I only do it because of the routes I need to go on. They upcharge for everything and none of it is worth it. And the app has so many hidden fees and tiers that the total is never what you’re expecting. Stay away from Delta as much as you can.

Just doesn’t work any more
About a month ago I started taking screenshots of this app every time it crashed, hung up loading or otherwise broke. I have dozens. Often impossible to bring up my trips on the app (despite the same account already linked to the trips on the delta website, presumably the same system). So no boarding pass on my phone I guess. Want to change a flight? Expect multiple crashes and hope it went through (since you can’t reliably access your trips to check). Want to find a flight? Expect hung loading screens and reset filters. And don’t get me started on “in flight WiFi.” Hah!
App will not log in
The app will not log me in. I cannot pull my flight information up on the app. The website works with the same login information. It is really frustrating.
Horrible developers
This app has its ups and downs. They will fix one thing and break something else in the process. the current problem is that when booking several flights recently the app, it has added the insurance even though you specifically declined the insurance and delta refuses to refund you the money and the insurance company, Allianz claims you don’t have a policy. It’s an absolute nightmare to deal with.

App is no longer supported by devices with less than Apple ios17, very disappointing and very unfair of Delta to cut us off.

Boarding pass missing TSA Precheck and touch less id
Flight issued by Air France and you would think it would be streamlined. I go to Delta and I have to enter the confirmation number and missing TSA info and touchless id icons
It used to work well but…
It worked great 2 days ago. Now it will not allow me to log in. Says information is incorrect. Perhaps I need to cancel all my upcoming flifhts since app no longer works.

This app is utterly useless. The positive ratings cannot be legitimate. I can’t log in. Can’t change my password. Can’t contact support. Can’t give feedback. Every single auxiliary feature is non functional. I can see flights but can’t book them. Like I said, garbage.

Delta app crashes after iOS update 26.4, have done everything suggested, no luck! Need my app to work!
No Longer Shows Trips
I cannot manually input a ticket # or a confirmation # nor will they auto populate when I log in. No trips viewable which isn’t very useful for someone with diamond status. Do not have this issue with AA or United apps.
Can’t access app
I have iOS the latest 18 something and the Delta app won’t update it says I need 17 or higher. It goes in a loop to update then says open which it then says update then open and nothing opens round and round. Created more bugs than it fixed! Never had issues before. Thank god for my android phone that still works fine. Hate iphones!

Buggy app and website
Issues with the app after delta canceled my flight and rebooked; app and website showed my new flight was cancelled (it wasn’t)

Not Working with IPAD IOS 26.4
Current version is not working with IPAD IOS 26.4. It just freezes up and crashes when I try to do anything in the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. All my other apps are working fine.
