Subpar Merge Game
Out of all the Merge games out there, this one isn’t worth downloading. It’s crazy because the same developer has another merge game that is much better than this one. “Foodstars” seems designed to extract money from the player, without much thought into making thr game more engaging.
Good: graphics quality
Bad: Very little free play, high amount of energy needed for even “easy” orders, and almost half of your merging/storage space is filled with low-power generators. They’ve also eliminated the rewards one usually earns as levels are achieved, pairing your “level” with rounds of finished orders.
All in all, seems like they’re trying so hard to make money they forgot to make it fun. 😒

Another misleading ad
This game is advertising as a game where you prepare food for takeout orders. There is no such gameplay in the actual game-it’s just a merge game. I don’t know why these companies feel the need to blatantly lie about their games; not only is it completely misleading, but it also makes me distrust the company and avoid any other games they produce.
ETA: The response from the developers is not helpful. Content “will be available” is a future statement. The content *is not available* in this game, and the ad also indicates the game mostly consists of what is unavailable gameplay, as opposed to a typical merge game. Advertising potential mini games as if they accurately represent your game is still deceitful. I suggest being truthful in your advertisements and pulling your misleading ads.

Time consuming
The recharge time on the item generators is so stupid long you won’t be able to play for more than 5-10 minutes. They also run out so fast it’ll take you an insanely long time to fill one basic order.

Designed to get you to spend a lot of money. I've played several games ans never have I played game that so persistently made it impossible to move on (merge items) without spending money 😕
This game is fraudulent.
the ad I watched specifically said UNLIMITED ENERGY. That is not the case. So that’s fraud. Your ads are fraud. Fraud is illegal. Fraud is also against Google and Apple’s ToS. Any time I see an ad for this game, I will be reporting it as such, and I encourage everyone else to do the same.
Also, I don’t need a tutorial on how to merge items. A toddler can figure that out, and I am not a toddler. There’s also no way to shut off the tutorial. I also don’t need multiple levels of a stupid finger pointing out where something is. It’s distracting.

Short Energy
I reviewed this game previously and said I will delete it because it takes days to complete a stage due to energy getting shorted. The wait time for cooking and getting complete energy is ridiculous. It’s a good game, but I am not going to spend a lot of money on energy and gems.

It’s pointless
Playing this game was good to start . The issue comes in in to when you have to upgrade to get the ingredients on different levels it should be a way to make more energy faster . Why do I have to wait 30 min to an hour for my energy to charge up just to only be able to get half of the things I need to get one or the two things I have to make to get the ingredient I need to make the dish . I don’t want to have to spend money to play games all the time . It don’t make sense. At all it definitely needs to be more ways to make energy outside of buying it ..maybe turn ingredients you don’t need on the table into energy,make a game to build energy out side of the ones you have which only lets to get coins . You get coins faster than energy to actually play the game . I was thinking of deleting it but I said maybe as you go up higher it does let you get more energy but it doesn’t it the same 100 when you actually need 400 to make one of an ingredient you need smh it’s considered a waste of time to me
Pay to play
Game is fun but designed for the player to pay for usage. The higher levels seem to run out of charges faster. It takes much longer to recharge and takes days to complete a level unless one pays to play. This is a big turn off.
Easy merge game IF you koi to pay money
Merging is simple and easy to do!!! Buying more diamonds to get energy or just purchasing (IN APP) energy is RIDICULOUS. 🙄
It’s okay
I enjoy merge games, this one is subpar. First, it’s takes FOREVER for the generating items to reload, and when they do, they hardly give you anything. Second, you don’t get to Make any choices. When completing task the merge games here I get to chose the design are way more fun.
Impossible unless you pay!
It's too bad that this game could be a lot of fun but unfortunately the matches are way too repetitive and keep you circling back over and over to finally reach a match but that isn't even the real negative about this game. I have had only 1 match to go and have attempted to come back after the energy times out within just about a minute and only creating about 5 to 6 items each time so unless you pay your way out you will be stuck for days attempting to get that last match. It becomes a real waste of time and for sure NOT fun anymore when the only way to continue for even just a short duration is pay to play. It just feels like extortion. I have paid but after acouole times seeing the way this operates I refuse to pay just to make a few more moves. With that said I would recommend finding another match game. This one is just too greedy and you can find many other options that are not as extreme as this one!
Update: response from developer was positive and sincere. They are looking to improve the game so that other options are available than having to purchase your way through. I look forward to giving more stars when they do. The game is fun and although it’s a pain not getting very far very fast without making purchases I am still playing it because I really like the game. I appreciate the developers response and look forward to them following through with some changes to give this game 5 stars!
