Charged but didn’t subscribe
I was charged for this app AND charged for some $30 add-on too and didn’t purchase either one. Apple refused to refund so I got stuck paying for something I didn’t even subscribe to. I downloaded the app and as soon as I saw I was going to have to pay for it i deleted the account & then deleted the app off my phone. I’m very angry so curious people beware. Apparently just downloading it can glitch and charge you.
Disappointing
App is inaccurate at counting calories, which is disappointing when that’s the sole purpose of the app. What’s worse is they wouldn’t refund me even though I requested within 14 days of purchase. Don’t waste your time

I liked the branding of this app. It’s cute! But make sure you read the critical reviews first.
For me, having car lot sales techniques including a “spin the wheel” is a big red flag. Foodvisor uses deceptive gated “candy crush” style sales techniques including “prize wheels” and time limited offers to car lot you into purchasing. The refunds only apply to monthly subscriptions. Customer service is AI only. This is an app with a lot of AI and advertising behind it. Avoid.

14-day trial is a lie
Despite the company’s instance that you can get a refund if canceled within 14 days, this is not the case. Refunds are at the discretion of Apple, but Apple does not honor this policy. Foodvisor will not issue refunds. False marketing for sure!

It’s cute but not what it seems
Love the idea of this app however it’s never as easy as scanning a barcode and tracking your macros. Plus extremely difficult to add food your eating that’s not in the app already without creating whole recipe for it. Literally have to adjust everything I put in this thing
Writing a review to get customer service’s attention
I’ve tried several times to reach out via the app, but the Contact Us bot is pathetic, and no one’s answering my contact forms.
The barcode reader isn’t always accurate. In fact, it’s often not. There’s an option to report an issue and correct the nutritional facts logged, but it just circles you around to add the food to your journal again, rather than actually correcting anything. After paying for this subscription, I expect for it to work correctly, and I definitely expect to be able to accurately track calories and other macros.
Right now, I can’t recommend the app, as it’s buggy and the developers aren’t responding to customers. Too bad.

Too inconsistent
When I downloaded this app I thought I was so out of touch because my healthy meals I was logging were showing up as yellow or orange foods (basically green = good, red = bad) it wasn’t until I started eating the same meals every day that I realized this app has no clue what its talking about. One day my ground beef and sweet potatoes will show up as really good, another day the app says thats the most unhealthy meal I’ve had all day. It sucks because it makes me feel bad about the foods I eat when I know they’re good for me. I feel like this app is shaming me and I’m not the type of person to feel shameful about what I eat.
Usability Declining
UPDATE: Today I received a scare-ware ad in app stating “my device has been compromised.” If you’re going to run ads verify what you’re going to run first.
I’ve used the app consistently for about a year and half but strictly on the free tier.
Awhile ago I hit a cap for number of items I could scan and save.
Every tracked meal offers a prompt to pay for a premium tier. This is annoying but easy enough to say “no thanks.” Recently third party ads started showing up. It’s too much now.

Horrible
Just wasted my money on this app. Very limited options on food measures, very such confusion and hard to use.
Good App, sketchy subscription
I was really careful to just sign up for one month of the individual plan to try it out. I liked the ease and design of the app, and all of the features were so cute! When I went back to look at my charges, I had been charged $128 for the annual family plan. Waiting for word on a refund now, but it is kind of scary!
