Lock/unlock/start do not work, the circle spins continuously. It says that my vehicle is still at a location where I was this morning. I have the latest version of the app, I deleted it and reinstalled it. Worked through the very limited troubleshooting with the chat bot on the app. Called customer service, I even got a human but he transferred me to someone else who, after a lengthy hold (over 15 minutes) never picked up.
These functions worked when I first got my Bronco but somewhere along the way they stopped.

Unlock failure
Would not unlock my truck today, so I needed roadside assistance. Complete failure
App deleted my access
However it happened, the ford app deleted my access from my cell phone 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 had to call roadside service. My 5 digit code wasn’t working either. All has been reset and made right.

Every feature controlled by the app is sold separately and it’s expensive for what you get

What’s the whole point of having this app to be able to unlock and lock your car when you need to from anywhere at anytime if it never work! Smh this app has really gone down hill don’t waste your time downloading
Can’t upload my service record
App has always worked fine but not when I try to add a service record it just says “something went wrong” app is up to date and tried on cellular and WiFi , same thing

Where is the user manual? Why is this not in the home page? Why when I pop the hood for the first time can’t I get it to latch properly?

Please Improve!
It used to be soooooo much better. It used to tell us if we left windows down or a door unlocked. It would send notifications. Now, nothing. It lags so much and sometimes doesn’t connect with the vehicle. Very frustrating.
App Issues
The app seemed like a great idea, but whenever I created my account and attempt to login, it wouldn't let me it just kept loading, I don't know if it's the app or the software but something wrong and I am very annoyed about it.
Climate not working after update
It looks ok. The new update doesn’t work with the climate.
Updates don’t work
The app still won’t let me update the OTA updates on the app. My car won’t allow me to update either so all in all a disappointing experience from ford.

Horrible app
I have a 2026 F150 and the ford app works to start my car only about half the time if I’m lucky. Imagine paying for a connected service that doesn’t work. Ford technology is primitive when it comes to functionality. When it comes to stealing your data and information it somehow excels. Will be canceling when my subscription is up. Garbage!!!!!
Important features removed
Propower onboard status is no longer visible. Ford removed it without warning.
Driver
This truck is extremely hard to set up. I’ve got every option but none are available until you pay the fees and set up accounts. After it’s set up I have to link my navigation to the account so they know I’ve paid for I guess.
Not Predictable
This is the worst app ever for charging your vehicle. It will start charging at unpredictable times, especially if you don’t have any departure time set. If I tell it I want to start charging immediately, it will set the charge percentage to 100%. If I adjust that back to o 80% it stops charging. And so on in a cycle. One time it started and stopped charging and never recorded the charging session. The charging station recorded it and it showed up in my solar monitoring app. I wish I had another option for controlling the charging of my vehicle at home because Ford has not improved this app in the 18 months I’ve owned my EV.
Remote start
The slide to start never works.
Stupid
It’s a sales tool. It rarely works to just unlock my car but it’s great at recommending what I can take it to the shop for 🤣

Changing too much
Changing too much on the app making it harder to manage and find the information needed. Should have left it alone where it was originally.
Not what I expected in 2026
Way too many redirects. If you are going to build an app then let the app do the work. Going from web to app and back and forth is ridiculous. If you can’t hire a firm to truly build an immersive app that works independently without the help of the web then you shouldn’t even have an app.

Zone Lighting :-(
I just purchased a new F-150 and was exited to see that I can control zone lighting from the app. Well, not so much. It seems like Ford has removed that feature from the app. Ford, please bring zone lighting back to the app!
Can’t find out if the truck is locked
When we open the app then there is nothing telling the user that the truck is locked currently or unlocked. We just have to hope to press lock to lock the truck but the app doesn’t show the current status when opened.
Non functional
It crashes every time I try to use it.

This app works intermittently at best.
I have brought to my dealer twice. Supposedly it was fixed. This lasted a couple days each time. Do better ford. For the price I paid for my truck, this should not happen.
