They make it seem like there’s no paywall and then suddenly, an hour of my work was lost because I had been editing my form in some sort of paywall purgatory.

Not happy at all, the responses were all deleted and the form is no longer working, “form no longer accepting responses” can’t get decent support. Total waste of time and money.

I have been using this app for a while. I have
my clients fill in information. I sent the link to a potential client and there was a message saying the link was malicious. I tried and got the same message. I can no longer log in either to see anything. I will never use this app again!

Do not get the pro version
Paid for pro version so I could have access to the upload file feature, now it won’t let me save the Google form because I “do not have access to the upload file feature”. I guess Google is not as advanced as it claims to be
Horrible on iPad
So many pop up’s and it’s basically unusable.

Should be free for all users. Terrible to navigate if you’re not on a computer as well.

I was working soooo hard on a project and was almost done when all of a sudden my progress just deleted and I had worked on it for three hours just for it to go down the drain I am so disappointed in this app please if you can get my progress back google forms I would love that because I worked so long on it.

Functionality
It’s absurd that the app doesn’t allow the same functionality as the desktop site without an additional subscription fee.
Suspicion
I literally just download this forms app and it went to the web & immediately I got a notification saying it wasn’t safe & malicious. I really am upgrading things little by little personally and I wanted to use this. However it isn’t safe I have to find something else , unless an explanation can be made
To pricey
Everything you have to pay for i get there is a paid version and free version but there’s no way i should have to pay to refresh that’s insanely money hungry which is why it gets a 1 star and i would give it a 0 if i could

I have been using google forms for almost 10 years, it’s always been free (like all the other software; sheets, docs, slides) but now it requires a PRO subscription anytime i want to filter the data??
And this is after i also pay for a google one and workspace?

Poor settings
First of all they make you pay for the Google form app
Second every time I start a new form, it makes my customers log into the Google form and I could never figure out how to turn it off when I need to do it they don’t make it very easy to find the turn off button

If you want to make just a form, you’re fine it’s really ease. Bless your heart if you want to attach it to a sheet. It doesn’t work 90% of the time, and the fact the you need a subscription to use that feature is such BS.
NONSTOP POP-UPS BEGGING FOR YOU TO PAY THEM
They couldn’t make a good enough product worth buying so they shove it down your throat with seemingly every button you can press in the app. “Oh that feature requires you to pay us every week” and the feature is just refreshing your feed. I’m DEAD serious. They said “refreshing is only for paying members, non-paying members can only refresh every 15 minutes 🤓🤓🤓🤓” ACTUAL loser cornballs. And did I mention these ads are 5 second unskippable full screen ads? Please install a “I DONT WANT TO GIVE YOU MONEY EVER” button if you could be so kind. Thanks.

It literally costs over a hundred a year if u want premium 😭 barely works without it and prompts u to buy like every 2 clicks
It doesn’t save your progress
I spent a hour making a questionnaire. When I clicked “save changes”, the app would not register it. Then, when I refreshed the page, it kept on asking me to click “Save” to which I did. However, it did not save my progress.

No, at least not without payment, which it reminds you of EVERY SINGLE TIME you close and reopen it regardless of how long you’ve been away. Let me shorten the link, for crying out loud! The real stinker is that when I add a question the entire screen flips from landscape to portrait and then back again. I’m getting vertigo just thinking about it. I don’t know why Google and Apple can’t get along, but I wish that they would sort out their differences and model civility in this crazy, divided world that we live in. We would all be better for it and their pockets would still be plenty full.

Doesn’t Allow you to Copy & Paste
I use forms as a way to collect client information to log into my system - which I thought forms would be able to help me without me calling and manually adding in client information. This totally defeats the purpose because you can’t use the copy and paste function. And it’s also $60 a month. With all these new technology grabs, why can’t we copy and paste? Weird.
