Watching the World Cup on Fox One has been really frustrating. For a tournament this big, the coverage feels careless and underwhelming. Spoilers are hard to avoid, replays and basic viewing features have not been reliable, and the broadcast keeps killing the flow with commercials during hydration breaks instead of using that time for analysis, highlights, or actual soccer coverage. The commentary also feels noticeably less passionate than other World Cup broadcasts I’ve watched, which makes big moments feel flat instead of exciting. For something as special as the World Cup, the overall broadcast quality just has not been good enough.

Whoever approved the user experience to include spoilers for every live event or on-demand should be fired and go work cleaning toilets. Apple TV knows how to do this. Fox everything is sewage.

I’m so glad Netflix got the next World Cup I couldn’t handle their BS yet another year. Fox gets a one star simply for their continued insistence that either of these guys are good announcers.
Terrible app on smart TVs
Slow, constantly looses picture frame rate and resolution, clunky for normal actions like fast forward, not available on some older Samsung Smart TV models. This app is so mid and I hate having to watch the World Cup on it.

Good soccer ruined by bizarre ads and wacky shows
The app works and I got all the World Cup coverage I wanted. The problem was the gross and weird ads and other shows that got played automatically. I could have done without those.
Worst app ever
This is the worst app ever. Do not download if you want to watch sports without lag every five seconds. I missed the final penalty that knocked out germany all because of this app being so disfunctional. The commentators also have the worst voice and don't know how to commentate. The russian website i use to watch sports for free works much better than this garbage.
Spoils games by showing score on preview
I opened the app to a watch a WC match that was almost over. I wanted to watch from the beginning but the preview showed me the score! What a stupid feature!!

Get better commentators; you don't feel the love for soccer with these ones-I don't know, get some Latinos or something, because I'm thinking about canceling my membership.

Wont stream on phone
I purchased FoxOne through ESPN and it wont stream on my phone. I contacted both fox and ESPN support and they both had no answers to get it to work. Fox was supposed to follow up with an email once they looked into it but never did.
The stream did work on my TV app so i had an active subscription but it should work on all app and Fox agreed that it should work.

I paid for a month to watch the World Cup. The resolution changing constantly is really frustrating. It goes down to 240p and then up to 1080p, and then bounces around, and the frame rate also changes too. The year is 2026. Streaming services don't have this problem anymore, except for some reason Fox One does. I'd recommend buying it through YouTube or Amazon or something if you want a reliable streaming product.

I guess it’s nice to have all of the games available in 1 place even if the video quality is lackluster. The rest of the content on this app is questionable tho - All these reality TV dramadies are unnecessary
Live broadcast scrubbing broken
The live broadcast scrubbing is totally and unusably broken. If you ever go back in time for a replay, you will NEVER be able to fast forward again. The live timeline will keep jumping back in time forever. It’s been doing this for 2 weeks of the World Cup. Absolutely awful.

I have fiber high speed internet. my apple tv is hardlined in. nothing on my network lags but this app. i've updated/deleted/redownloaded many times. if sucks

Keep missing moments
I got this for the World Cup. It constantly has issues and logs me out, causing me to miss key moments. Also, no chromecast compatibility is so frustrating for an app this expensive. Please do not buy the rights to something you are unable to support technically.
They don’t have Spanish Broadcast
Commentators are boring and very one sided when narrating their games, makes me want to fall asleep.

I’ve had a hard time watching the Wound Cup. The streams just don’t stay on. We actually have resorted to watching in Spanish on Peacock to ensure a full match.

I’m astonished at how much time is spent on playing commercials even after I paid as much of a fee as I did.
I pay more and hear more commercials than Netflix. On Paramount+ and Amazon Prime, I believe it is, and I don’t have to see any commercials.

Glitches
I find the feed just stops. It’s annoying when I’m paying to get the streaming live news and every 10 -15 minutes it stops and I have to restart the app.
It works I suppose
Getting to what you want to watch is like solving a riddle, in a foreign language, in the dark with a child screaming in your ear. Downloaded for an easy way to watch some fairies run around a field and flop around like they are hurt but being jack sparrow proved easier.

To watch the World Cup i have to try to load the game like 10 before it finally will play on my tv. I have no other apps that do this.
