On the surface a lot of the content seems nice, but don’t be fooled. This app is full of racist conspiracy theories like Jews being lizard people or aliens and alt-right political propaganda. STAY AWAY!!

Don’t Buy
I don’t normally rate apps but I want to let the people know, this app is too damn loud and noisy and the people talk too damn much. The lectures are full of personal stories about nothing. I came to learn some new techniques, perhaps listening to a low-key Buddhist talk but hell naw, even that’s too damn loud. I can’t focus on the lectures or put myself to sleep without all this wizardry style loud music. I will not be renewing. The app is well intentioned but when people get older we need quieter. The lectures offer nothing to me, all they do is run a long commercial about their narcissistic selves. Gaia is the most overrated app ever. I am so disappointed and wish I never bought it.

Always very interesting titles and clips on social media, but watching the actual show puts me to bed every time. The soft music and melancholy tone everyone speaks in makes it very boring. Not to be rube…

This company has been charging me without authorization. Beware!
Repetitions
For some reason, the episodes repeat themselves after the second episode - it’s all the second episode in the series. Very frustrating to try to watch this as in the disclosure with Dr. S. Greer, the first episode is played, then the second episode is played, then the following episodes are all just a repeat of episode two. Anyone else experiencing this?

I paid hundreds of dollars for this and can’t watch anything.
Horrible service
They would not let me cancel, and then when it charged my account, they would not refund me. They are stealing scamming thieves. I wouldn’t do anything with these people. They’re telling a lot of lies and they’re a part of the criminal network. I will be calling my lawyer to get a refund. They also have anti-somatic content on their site and it seems like they hate certain groups of people which I don’t support. One of the original interviewers on one of the shows is actually missing and I’m pretty sure the people who run this side at something to do with it.

Okay content, mediocre app
There are definitely not 8000 original series. There are about 100 TV series and even less of everything else. On top of that, there is no way to favorite a series. You can follow a series, but there is no way to view those on the TV. Continue watching only remembers progress of videos you are already in the middle of… it does not keep track of where you are in a multi-part series. Most of the videos are similar in quality to youtube videos by metaphysical content creators. Overall, the UX is just terrible. The app could also just generally use some polish… it’s very 1990s, with no border radii anywhere.
It looks like they could really use some decent engineers, but a quick look at linkedin shows engineers who feel undervalued and overwhelmed by poor and indecisive leadership.
Also, the AI is borderline useless. You can tell it to follow a show or add things to a playlist, but it will not do any of those things, despite saying it did.
They should ideally just ditch the AI if they aren’t going to properly implement it, and instead focus on a better content platform with emphasis on UI/UX.
Additionally, it looks like they prioritize money over expanding consciousness and transformation, judging by the amount of data collected and sold.

Subtitles constantly turning itself back on every new video on iPhone, Mac and AppleTV
The Gaia app is frustrating to use because subtitles keep turning back on every time I open the app or start a new video, and there’s no clear way to permanently disable them. This shouldn’t require changing settings over and over.
Also, unlike most video players, you can’t simply tap the screen to pause. You have to find and tap a tiny pause button, which is inconvenient when you need to quickly pause because someone is talking to you or you get interrupted.
The content is good, but the playback controls and user experience need improvement.

Worst App
I love Gaia TV, the only thing I don’t like are all the shows that require + which is a lot more money, but this is the worst App on my Apple TV. I get in these loops where I have to unplug the Apple TV to get it out of it. Also sometimes it plays two shows at once, talking over the top of it, again have to unplug it, I have no other Apps that do this
Content is good but feel scammed.
Love the content but bought the $100 for a year or whatever only to find out I can’t access all the videos in a series without paying another $300… come on.

Streaming is odd
For the past months, I don’t know what is going on because every time I open a program and I put it on hold to finish it later, when I go back and open Gaia, another show is running in the background. I have not been able to close the screen because it doesn’t show where it is running. So I have been listening two shows running at the same time, but just looking at one so it’s impossible to follow..
