I downloaded this app so I could watch my son’s baseball games while I’m out of town working. I’m paying for the Family Plan so multiple family members can watch and stay involved, which is the entire reason we subscribed.
Unfortunately, the app has been extremely unreliable. Scores, game statuses, and live updates frequently fail to refresh. As I’m writing this review, the app is still showing a game as “Live” even though the game ended three days ago. This isn’t an isolated issue updates are often delayed or don’t happen at all.
When you’re paying for a subscription specifically to follow your child’s games in real time, accurate and timely updates are essential. Right now, the app simply isn’t delivering the service I’m paying for. Very disappointing.

Long time subscriber but the new charges are overboard. Services that used to be included, listening to the game, etc are now additional charges. Teams pay fee, individuals pay fee and now after paying for additional services that used to be free -we have to watch ads! After years of being a GC subscriber it feels like a Bait and Switch.

I feel ripped off
I wanted to watch a tournament live so I upgraded to Premium. The offer was for $8 something. I got charged $14. Unless I’m in the app I can’t even hear the game. I canceled right away so I don’t ever get charged again. If I could figure out how to stop payment I would. 👎🏻

Not reliable
For a paid subscription I expected better! While listening it kicks you off. Very lagged., then it catches up. No it’s not a WiFi issue. Really not happy

1. Why is there no dark mode? This has been a standard for over 10 years. Also dark mode with contrast is easier to see in bright sun vs white and washed out.
2. Why can’t I sign in on my iPad and my iPhone without being logged out constantly?

Quality Has Suffered
This app used to be my favorite for watching games and seeing highlights of my boys. I don’t even fault the additional fees given the value it creates when a parent can’t be at the games. But the quality of the video storage/playback has been TERRIBLE this spring season! Significantly worse than it used to be before the business model changes. Additionally, the “selection of videos to match the plays” has been AWFUL this season as well. Video is choppy, doesn’t match the game stream, and ultimately is useless now. Thanks a lot…. I used to be a fan…now, not so much and am looking for alternatives.
Game consistently drops out
This is the worst written app I’ve dealt with. I have tried multiple times to watch my grandson play. Poor video access, some times it connects then it freezes. When it does play there are ads, fine but then they are asking for money to watch too, greedy x&#! I spend more time trying to get the app to play miss most of the game.
Premium subscription with ads
Update: the ads are now not able to be skipped, so we're forced to watch the whole ad (even thougj support insists they can be skipped). In addition to this, the app lags even more than ever and takes forever to load.
I wish there was a more popular alternative. We pay for the premium plan and are receiving ads during the games. It doesn't matter that we can close them out after 5 seconds, it's ridiculous to charge this much and force ads upon the users.

This app is money hungry, u can no longer watch live games without paying! Guess a paid subscription wasn’t enough, now they need to make money from every download. Don’t download this app unless you plan to pay up! My league re-installed scoreboards and will be doing away with game changer for good!

Now that they charge $10 a month to be able to watch a kid’s softball game, this app is absolutely useless. Go back to Facebook live or SidelineHD.
Fortunately, I make it to most of my kids’ games, but as a result it’s not even close to worth it to pay $120 per year to catch the single game I miss per month. 5 games a year isn’t enough. At least have an option to pay a small fee for a single game or something.

Privacy stinks
This app allows any one to see the schedule and kids names. With minors here we need more privacy settings and a block button for the safety of the kids.

Subscription?!
While this technology is great to be able to watch a game remotely, the subscription expense is too expensive for just viewing live games billed annually at a flat rate disguised as a monthly rate when the season isn’t year round. Service can be glitchy and viewing plays is limited. For viewing remotely only, expense should be more reasonable for episodic daily use or for a true monthly rate.

It doesn’t load half the time, it pauses the live stream 24/7 and it calls incorrect plays. Can’t watch my sister play. I pay for the app and it sucks. 100% a 1 star.

Still No Time Zone Fix
How does this app not have a time zone notation for teams that play in multiple zones? Ie. Your game time reflects whatever zone you are currently reading your app in….as opposed to notating 7:00 EST. That is DUMB. My third grade students could code better….and they do it for free.
Recent updates make it worse 😞
For those who the app is unbelievably slow, uninstalling and reinstalling weekly or daily helped, until the recent update.
Not sure what your policy is on how to measure current logged in devices but it’s broken and keeps logging me out, which isn’t a huge deal because I have to uninstall and reinstall to be able to use the app.

I don’t like this but I would there’s bugs
Ok so my issue is that when I try to open it won’t open and like I can’t get into the app it’s soooo annoying and than when it lets me I finally get to watch the game so I feel like if you fix the bug I will give you 5 stars cause it’s good but the bug is NOT good
Over priced and still get ads
Not only do you now have to have a subscription to stream games when you can’t make it, but you also get ads too. What am I paying $25/month for?
