Predatory money scheme
After removing the ability to stream the games for parents who are away, and for extended family, you lost my support. I considered paying for plus in order to watch clips but this is a deal breaker. The content isnt made by you, “game Changer”. I think you should pay the team for the content if this how it’s going to be. Total scam to get everyone using the app then charge entirely way too much in order to even use the app. Guess what game changer (dicks sporting goods) this is what’s going to create competition in the app space and you’ll lose tons of users you once had before your outlandish ask. What a shame. Don’t let your market cap fool you. Your retail is dead better get smarter than this, what goes around comes around ! Dicks sporting goods used to be a good value, now your entire model, retail space, employees and headquarters is just like this app, a scam!
Constant crashes
This app crashes every single time use it. I might get a minute or two. Then crashes and you have to start all over. It’s great for what it does. It’s just not stable.
Freezes all the time !
This app constantly freezes and i can follow my kids’ games even when im at home with wi-fi. So it’s not a reception issue !

It’s disappointing to see what was once a solid app become overpriced and less functional. I’d gladly recommend it again if pricing and performance were brought back in line. It’s disappointing to see a company like Dick’s Sporting Goods allow the app to move in this direction

Too little for too much.
It’s very bothersome that they changed packages. Now my extended family has to purchase a package just to watch kids play. Wish they still had a free package for baseball/softball like they do all other sports.
You have to pay for anything useful
You pay team fees, you pay tourney fees, you pay parking fees, you pay gate fees. And you pay to access anything useful - even previous plays in the game. Monetization of youth sports is the worst.
Charged for everything
Use to be a great app to watch games when you couldn’t make it to the actual game. Now we have to pay to watch live games. Only get 5 free which go in a weekend tournament with how many games are actually played in a season….no point in having the app now.
Paid for pass and did not get it
Our team bought a pass in DECEMBER for this year. It’s now MAY and it still doesn’t show. We can’t watch or listen to the live games view recaps etc. Everything is still behind a paywall. I emailed support and was told we do not have a team pass. I sent in the confirmation of payment and receipt and was told it was added to our team and it’s still not there. Everything remains behind a paywall. We paid for a year and we are 5 months in and still don’t have it. Not only are you greedy like your reviews say but you are a complete ripoff. I can see why you don’t provide a phone number to call for assistance. I would not want to be on your side for calls like this coming in. We just have to wait for you to respond at your leisure.
App sucks
As a grandparent, I find it stupid that I can't see my grandchildren's without downloading the app. After I downloaded it, it asks me to create an account! This is insanely stupid.
Abandoned your fan base
This use to be a five star app. There were a few things that required a premium subscription that made sense but otherwise it was a great app for families with multiple kids on different teams or family that could not travel the distance to make games who could watch ay live stream or even an easy breakdown of the game. It was also friendly to the seeing impaired by offering an auditory or “radio stream” of the game. However, ALL of these features have been taken away and slapped behind a subscription wall. This was a big blow to my family as I can no longer watch my older sons games when they line up with my younger son’s games; not can my father watch the games anymore. This was such a step in the wrong direction and I hope you go back to how the app’s original offerings.

Update causes crashing
Ever since I updated the app it continuously crashes when I try to open it; I have the proper IOS version etc. If this isn’t fixed rapidly I will be cancelling my subscription to the app.

Overpriced
Horribly overpriced. Most of the app used to be free, now you can barely do anything on the app besides share your information and connections for free. I can’t wait for an alternative who is less expensive. Let’s go someone, enter the market!

Glitching, not accurate based on player performance.
Fail
Constantly fails to load. Messages don’t load. Videos don’t load. Stats don’t load. Streams constantly freeze. All their support does is tell you to restart or reinstall the app. Hire better engineers and stop adding features if your core app is trash.
Nickel and dimes you for everything now
Used to be a great way to let parents easily keep up to date with team news and watch the kids when you couldn’t be at the game. This year the app started to charge for watching after the first 5 games and became super glitchy- white screens and dropping the feed for the games I could watch. I don’t want to pay the steep price to have glitchy service when there are better free options. Not worth it anymore for the general sports parent.

App is slow when trying to look at events/schedule and message do not load. The app has gone downhill.

Your recent updates have ruined this app for me. The app has always been slow to open messages, but ever since you updated your splash/welcome to video a few weeks ago (when that came out it would loop on that for nearly a minute before I could do anything in the app) various tabs will just hang (mostly the message tab) those four annoying dots - sometimes spinning, sometimes idle - is all I ever see. Not the URGENT message from the coach or team mom. The concept of your app is amazing - the functionality is far from that. Fix it and I’ll remove this review. Thank you.
Hot garbage
Consistently crashes time and time again. It continues to crash even after uninstall and reinstall several times. When it does work, the recording will fail halfway through. Plenty of local storage on the phone. This started about two weeks ago. More than likely an update. Do better.
Not really worth the $ tiers
Good app but as a casual follower it's not worth the cost to see basic stats hidden behind the pay wall. Have to pay if you're a family member but otherwise, to follow a high school sports season it'd be $44.97? I pay less for other complete services.
Streaming not working
Newer updates have broken streaming. With full service and signal it will fail network test in the app and then disconnect any live stream we try to stream. Please fix
WHY am I paying for ads?
At $25 per month, I’m not sure why I should be seeing ads when I’m watching the live stream of my team. Please explain.

Why do you have to pay to watch your at bats like what the heck I have to pay to watch what I did yeah no way hose I don’t recommend this app
Money Hungry
This app is very good for group chats of the team to communicate with where things are. But that’s about the only thing you can do for fun. I can’t even watch my best friend play because I would have to pay. I shouldn’t have to pay weekly/monthly just so I can watch a game.

Used to be amazing
It used to be a amazing app but now you can’t see anything without team pass or getting accepted into the team, I have premium but I can only see one player on each team
App won’t open
So I haven’t used GameChanger in a while set the account up, but the app won’t open up
Good but has issues
While the video may lag a bit at times, my biggest issue is that the messages won’t load about half of the time. The whole app won’t load occasionally. But the messages portion it seems to only work half the time which is a real bummer when parents and coaches are trying to communicate.
Update broke
Constantly crashes since last update. Gets stuck loading something then closes
Messages lag on busy days
Expensive platform that lags on busy days. Makes it hard for coaches to connect and respond to parents.
