I can’t do immediate transfers anymore which caused me to wind up with hundreds of dollars of NSF fees. I presume this was done on purpose by these scum bags. I talked to the bank and they would only refund 4 of them, so they basically stole $128 from me because they changed the app with no notice. Not to mention the app CONSTANTLY makes me verify my identity no matter how many times I click “remember this device.” Also, don’t bank on the app to EVER inform you you’re overdrawn. It legitimately will not tell you for 2-3 days. Again, I assume this is done on purpose to steal your money.
Starving me
Trying to buy McDonald’s at 10 o’clock at night cause I’m starving and can’t even get nothing to eat as I’m shaking and I’m diabetic. I’m truly disappointed.

I downloaded the app for the first time and it took a couple minutes to get in, then it says "system not responding try again later" and so i deleted the app and reinstalled it and it still says the same thing, please help me
Frequently locks me out
Since they added the: verify you are human feature, I’m regularly locked out when trying to access the app using my vpn. How is it more secure if you won’t let me access my banking data on a vpn?

I have notifications of received payments and my app doesn’t show the transactions. Also doesn’t show pending transactions that I know are pending. I hate it.

New Version = Worst Version
I loved the old app so much. The layout, the colors, everything was so nice. I especially loved how user-friendly it was, as I’m not that good with technology. However, when they updated this app on September 24, 2024, that’s when I started to dislike this app. I understand change is inevitable and I understand every app must get updated, but usually when apps are updated they’re updated for the best, not the worst. And in this case it’s for the worst. The layout is very confusing. There’s way more options than there were before, it’s constantly logging me out, so I have to continuously log myself back in. Sometimes when I am logged in and I click on something it will log me out. Overall, the app is not user-friendly and it’s not something that I would recommend people use. Please stick to the online version rather than using the app, at least they didn’t change that.

Debit card transactions take longer to reflect after the transaction has been made and then the system renames the transaction something odd.

Being a GCB customer for many years and going through different bank updates on the app. The newest one is by far, NOT IT. It’s bland and lacks the great GCB blue color and gives me Wells Fargo vibes and or the Gray Pixies from Fairly Odd Parents. Please change it back!

The new update is the worst! Why can I see my bank account information without login verification or face ID. As soon as you tap the app it shows your bank accounts and the money you have in them! Please fix this ASAP!

Suddenly no more mobile online banking available. Living on the opposite side of planet earth it was very convenient. What happened???

I 100% know all of my credentials are right and I still can’t access my account. Whatever they did for a changeover for this update didn’t work or didn’t data transfer. I am very frustrated and do not know what I currently have in my account precisely. I have an idea, but it would be helpful to know precisely as I have an automated payment for rent coming up. I don’t need this app nannying my password security for me. Apple and I already do that.

About every other time I log in the app crashes and I have to reset my phone before I try again. Again and again! It’s a hassle! Still malfunctioning. Almost daily.

I’m tired of trying to go onto my account to look at my balance and being logged out. I’ve had to change my username and password so many times over this bug it’s getting ridiculous. Fix this before I change banks!!

If you’re going to make an update to a working app, please make sure the app doesn’t break. I’ve had several technical issues that I just had to wait out such as checking my updated balance after making a purchase given and after was given false information on my balance. Please quickly adjust whatever is wrong with the app.

i’ve been using gate city since i was 13, i really like this bank and the app was great. this update has been genuinely terrible. i understand the layout change but using the app has become so frustrating in comparison to the old layout. from confusing forwarding to different screens to just not working. please either optimize it better or revert it

After last update can’t do Zelle on here. Please go back to the old way when you could use Zelle
