Doomscroll Blocker Freezes Phone
The app works fine, but when I enabled doomscroll it went to south. If I tap on an app that is blocked by doomscroll it essentially freezes my phone, I can’t turn off the screen or close the app, literally cannot do anything except restart my phone. I have a 17PRO, and have never had to use the hard restart feature except with the doomscroll. Stay away! Great idea, poor technology.
Boring 🥱
It’s so boring. Add some games
using ai is lazy
i'm deleting this app specifically because i found out it uses ai. there are better ways to make sure your information is accurate and reliable. ai is never the answer, it just shows me this company cares more about saving money than actually teaching people.
i don't like it
I am being forced to micro learn about christmas but I don't want to and I want to learn about coding and crime only!!!
Hate the changes
I've had this app for a year now, I got it as soon as it came out. I really enjoyed swiping through the cards and learning new things at my leisure. I would save the best ones and read them with my husband before bed.
I just got on the app after a few months of not using it as I've been really busy, and the entire app has changed.
Now you only get so many topics and the rest seem to be locked until you finish whatever lesson unlocks it, but it doesn't say which one. So I can no longer just pick up the app in my downtime and learn.
I'm forced into a gamified system that I DON'T want. Isn't the point for people to learn about what they find interesting? Way to completely ruin it. Deleted the app.

Neat Idea, Not Worth
After using this I failed to see a reason why I should use this app rather than finding a couple of random Wikipedia pages every day. One is free, provides more information, and the sources for that information all without bugging me about a subscription, while the other limits me, doesn’t provide sources, and annoys me about a subscription.
Premium app….
What a shame really, it had potential
Bait and switch
A giant ad for the pro version, nothing more. The greed of these devs is reaching a scary point.
why?!
eveytime i try to click to start learning it says “something went wrong please try again”.
how do i fix this??
how do i fix this??
Cannot login
Just gets stuck on login screen. No feedback no matter how long it sits
Won’t work
Sounds like it would be a lot of fun…. It it worked! So far it has only made me frustrated
Craig
I know it’s free, but it doesn’t work.
Something went wrong
That's the message when loading lessons. Blank page is noneducational.
Would like to love it.
Downloaded the app and have been getting nothing but error messages.
Doesn’t work… “Something went wrong, try again”
App doesn’t work. Keep getting “Something went wrong, try again”. Will adjust score if they fix it.
Broken app
Does nothing and I have a lifetime subscription. Doesn’t work at all.
Great concept, but it hallucinates a lot
As the title says, I really like this app. It’s a great idea, easy to use, and I’ve learned some interesting stuff from it. However, once I had been using it for a few weeks, I noticed a troubling pattern: it was hallucinating entire topics and occasionally giving me lessons that were utterly incoherent. For some reason, this seems to be a particularly heinous problem in the “Crime” category.
Weird prompts I’ve been given include “The Murder of Steve Irwin,” “The Murder of John McCain,” and perhaps most jarringly of all, “The Guilty Conscience of Ad**f H**ler.” Whenever these prompts come up for me, the text of the lesson inevitably devolves into the app arguing with itself, saying things like “there is no evidence that this actually happened” or “present lesson to user in conversational, educational tone.” In each case, it clarified that Steve Irwin and John McCain, respectively, were not murdered; it also clarified that there’s no evidence H**ler felt any remorse.
The most baffling one was when I got a lesson called “The Kidnapping of Edna K,” in which the app immediately acknowledged it had no idea of such an event ever occurring. It proceeded to create a five page lesson listing various criminal cases from various countries that could be related, before repeatedly determining that there was no “kidnapping of Edna K” that it could identify.
A very user friendly app and great concept, but the content needs a lot of work. When the entire purpose of your product is to share knowledge, fake AI hallucinations are just about the worst thing you could have happen.

Great concept!
I wanted to love this app because the concept of learning rather than doom scrolling is absolutely better. However, I noticed some of the facts come back as incorrect. I believe it asks AI what this topic is about to lay it all out into bitesize content but sometimes the fact is shown as “there is no such incident which occurred, please check other sources” type of comment. Hope this gets fixed soon!
Good app behind a pay wall
I love this app and while I get the devs have to make money they don’t have to make everything behind a pay wall most of the stuff you have to buy premium and with basic you kinda just read a article
Another Cool Premise Ruined By AI…
I love fun facts and learning new trivia, so I was initially very excited about this app. Although, I did find it was sometimes difficult to come across topics that I didn’t already know about. Which I assume would be an issue for anyone that’s a trivia buff, as well.
I also found that the AI generator used had a difficult time articulating certain topics. I have an interest in philosophy and could not find a single prompt that explained in detail any school of thought, it would read more as “this thing exists,” which is pretty obvious. But I wanted to know WHY it exists, how it influences things, an explanation on WHAT it is, even.
The absolute worst AI offenses were in the crime category, though. Several times the prompt title would reference a crime or case and the year it occurred. Then upon starting the lesson, you’d read (apparently no more than 350 words) about how no results could be found for that prompt, thus it didn’t exist-completely wasting one of your three lessons allowed each day if you’re freemium.
The worst lesson I’ve read, I just experienced; It was an AI generated prompt that detailed returns on crimes against a family of four in the 90’s. There were apparently about 12 results found, and then you read through how it “reasoned” which crime it should expand upon, how it excluded certain crimes (“not in the 90’s”, or “victims not a family of four”,) and that it should all be summarized within 350 words.
I’ll be deleting the app. I don’t want to read AI slop scraped from the internet that clearly isn’t verified or reviewed by a human being for accuracy. And I find it especially atrocious that the developer thinks you should pay for an app when they use AI to churn out “lessons” that may or may not be factual.

Bad quizzes + weak lessons
Many quiz questions are wrong. For example, one quiz question asks which topic wasn’t mentioned in the article, and all choices were mentioned so the question had no correct answer. The app says the right answer is radio telescopes, but that topic is clearly mentioned in the article. This is just one example, but I noticed that over 70% of the quiz questions have some mistake in them.
And the articles all seem to be AI generated. I don’t know for sure but it seems obvious from the way the articles are written. But with better prompts I can generate better articles myself. It would be nicer if the articles had some human touch to them.
I gave it more than 1 star because the app seems to be very well designed with a very good UI. But the content itself is weak (I picked the 5 minute lessons which have the longest articles)

Not As Good As I Thought It Would Be
The only learning you’ll get is learning that everything is behind a paywall. You can have unlimited topics for free, but to actually remember it, you’re forced to pay. Education should be free, so please add more to freemium.
Waste of time
Limited to2 topics and unable to change once selected in free version. Uninstalled as it was impossible to evaluate with that limitation
