Ever since the introduction of Milastra Wonderland this game has gone downhill. These developers are trying to push a feature that no one asked for and its one that does nothing too enhance the game, not to mention to costs extra if you want to do anything with it. It adds nothing to the game and should’ve been created as a separate game altogether if they were going to start putting in so much effort into it and ignoring the actual gameplay. Ever since its release with 6.0 the games events, exploration, map expansions, and even characters have all just sucked. The rewards given are severely lacking and it’s an insult to all the players who have been playing since the beginning. Do better Hoyoverse
Don’t waste your time and $$
As a long time player and spender of this game since 2020, it’s gotten to a point where this company is basically begging you to swipe your credit card twice as much to clear content or just to simply pull characters. you cannot pull for the banners you want due to the lack of rewards each patch it gives once you’ve caught up. 60 pulls in a patch is a new low for this game and is especially detrimental for players who are F2P. The “discounts” they offer on their official top-up store after shutting down 3rd party websites that once offered generous discounts is ludicrous. Fair warning, if you do not intend on spending money please do not install because you will be disappointed eventually.
Used to be good
This game used to be good but the devs absolutely REFUSE to listen to any player feedback until it is too late and they have lost half of their fanbase. Used to be such a fun game up until Sumeru released and then it started the downfall. The dialogue is unskippable despite players practically BEGGING for a skip button (especially because the dialogue is boring and genuinely sounds like nails on a chalk board whenever Paimon opens her mouth.) The exploration stopped feeling rewarding after Inazuma and characters are so bland now that their backstories kind of just blend together. Many plot points that you would expect the story to return to eventually are just abandoned. It’s genuinely heartbreaking that everything good about this game changed because there was a point where it was a lot of fun.
No respect for community
It’s a great game, really, but it’s extremely stingy about rewards and shows no acknowledgement to f2p players. The game never listens to its community, the rewards are terrible, and the game feels like it gets worse every new region. If you’re looking for a game where you’re forced to work your butt off for a single pull, then this is the one.

NOT F2P FRIENDLY
No matter what i do in this game, I can never get a single 10x pull with just farming, the max I have ever farmed from LONGG quest and chest was at least 600, nothing more. Yes, I have made in-game purchases before but now I realize it’s so…money grabbing and doesn’t even help a lot…It cost too much to pay for primos. Plus, miliastria makes no sense, what was the point of adding this. Please give higher rewards (free limited 5*, no standard-just like it is for HSR) and more things for free-to-play players, this isn’t fair.
Quality
This game is fun and great for a free game but as someone who has played for years, quality in updates and quality is going down and down. The other hoyoverse games are treated glamorously with tons of pulls per patch, enough to get a 5 star. While Genshin is only giving 60. This is unfair as this is their most popular game and players deserve more for what they do. Other games can get 3 wishes for helping a npc while in Genshin u don’t even get half a wish. It’s ridiculous and should be better. This wouldn’t be as big of a problem if Genshin didn’t put wanted characters back to back giving players no time to save for them or get them all without being extremely lucky or paying money.

The game expects us to sit down and watch the screen for 6 hours in a quest with no action, good lore though, wish it was more interactive

The rewards inky give you 60 pulls per patch which is both 1st and 2nd phase, and that's if you can do all the quests., the 12 stages of abyss imaginaruim theatre, and 3 stages of stygnian(or whatever it's called) and nome of the money players spend here ar going to THIS game it's going to the other games which I love since I LOVE her but treating Genshin players like this is horrible

This game is a thief wearing a cover. At first you’ll be really happy playing this game with a lot of things to do in it, and once you pull for a character, you’ll lose at pity 80+ but you’ll feel bad that now the character is guaranteed so you’ll have to spend more 80+ wishes and this circle never ends. Same thing for the weapons banner. You’ll be addicted and you’ll waste your money (not all of people) but for me I wasted more than 3k dollars over FIVE YEARS OF PLAYING. Now I realize how this game can steal your money without thinking. There is no skip button. So, yeah you’ll have to spend over three hours doing a single quest. This game is really the most deceptive and greedy game I’ve ever played. A whole quest can barely give you two wishes. Once you reach a high rank, there are no more amusing things to do. The characters’ gameplay? Some of them are a disappointment. And the new mode of our own outfits? We’re literally looking like an NPCs. A huge disappointment.

Devs don’t care about players
Over 5+ years of playing this game I can unfortunately say that it’s a giant money grabbing scam for their other projects. I don’t understand how their other games can have many QOL updates as well as satisfying rewards but Genshin is left with almost nothing. I really used to enjoy playing the game but as it continues I feel like Genshin has barely progressed the way they should’ve.

been playing for 5 years-i feel no reward for logging on every single day, they barely give us any rewards. 40 pulls this update?? with two new areas to explore yes, but they are so tiny. also-islands??? i thought we left that at inazuma but what do you mean new areas are like 50% water 50% land?? adding tiny caves and underground systems does NOT make up for the amount of area wasted because they wanted to add so much water. dont even get me started on the character designs. nod krai.. part of snezhnaya… the COLDEST nation. why are only 2 of the playable characters covered up?? lauma, jahoda and nefer being like 40% covered??? lauma even had to be censored on the app store with flowers covering her. the racism in this game too? why are they taking important figures from different cultures, implementing them into the game just to make them WHITER than PAPER?? and in one of their other games.. a poc that literally bleaches her skin because she thinks her skin color is ugly?? OH and not to mention, they are l0l!cons and had a lol! paradise in one of their games. they even had an SA feature in their game. such a weird company, i hope one day they start to listen to their players.

I’ve been playing this game since its initial release in 2020, and now I’m returning after spending some time away. From the very beginning, I’ve felt frustrated by the heavy paywalls, the greed-driven systems, and the unfair wishing mechanics, all of which have caused me a significant amount of stress just trying to enjoy the game and wanting to expand my collection of characters. Grinding has become increasingly exhausting, and it often feels like the developers don’t value or respect players’ time. With each new patch, rewards for free-to-play players seem to decrease, while those who spend money are given more opportunities and pulls. The Wonderland update only made things worse in my experience. I’m also deeply concerned about the lack of representation for people of color based off sumeru and natlan, as well as the sexualization of childlike character models, one of which is uncomfortable and troubling. Overall, the game feels like it has been on a rapid declined with nearly every update since version 5.7. Looking ahead to versions 6.6 and 7.0, I’m honestly worried. The artifact farming system alone demands hours of repetitive effort just to make progress for building characters, which is especially daunting for younger players like me.
I still love this game, but the direction of the company and the toxicity within the community have made it increasingly difficult to continue enjoying it.

Genshin’s newest patch is unfair to everyone that plays, since the beginning of nod krai they’ve been slowly lowering the amounts of wishes you’ll receive on each patch. You need 80 wishes to get at least a 5* and this patch the rewards are barely 60 wishes. They’ve been investing all their time into a system no one wanted in their game.

Us free to play players barely get any primos. Genshin needs to do better in their game. I feel like this game is very p2w and us free to play need more primos because 60 pulls isn’t even enough for a 5 star, and many people don’t have a lot of time to grind too. The game is detailed and I like the characters but everything has been unfair lately, back then we used to get more.

Genshin has been decreasing the amount of wishes we get almost every patch, while releasing & rerunning the most wanted characters, it isn’t fair for f2p players. INCREASE THE PRIMOGEM AMOUNT EACH VERSION AND RERUN GANYU WITH HER OWN BANNER!

Why don’t you give this game enough?
We are barely even getting 60 pulls this patch and that’s if you have enough to complete everything it’s not free. You spend the money people have to pay to get there favs or good characters in general on this game for y’all’s other games where the players get tons of free stuff. Try harder it’s almost pathetic, if I didn’t like the story and main promos of the game I’d quit. We deserve better hoyoverse.

Пока мне не выпадет лаума 5* не поставлю. Худшая игра в моей жизни круток почти нет и удачи тоже. Выходят очень много персонажей которые не играбельные без сапортов и в итоге на каждом персонаже падает с 80+ крутке так еще и со 100% гарантом, п если нет то проигрываешь и потом опять 2772 лет добывать крутки чтобы перс опять тянул до 80+. И еще круток нет вообще и их очень трудно добывать
No genuine reward
Primos are extremely hard to come by with each passing update. It’s beginning to become play to win and that’s not what I am looking for in a game. It’s truly sad that pulls in this game are so terribly hard to get AND quests take hours to complete (which you only get up to 60 primos). Archon quests take HOURS and you get 60 primos for each one. It is a losing battle when it comes to this game. Seriously.
greedy with fame
self explanatory title, rewrote the entire plot of genshin impact to adhere for more monetization and not the actual point of genshin impact. as a person who loves lore, people at hoyoverse ruined the game by rewriting. nothing makes sense, characters or quests. i understand that you have to make money but you don't have to undress every female character including ones that look young to accomplish that.

In game currency decrease
Genshin has barely been giving us any in game currency from completing things with new updates, older player have to save for extended periods of time for a character they want as farming is essentially impossible for them, this being said they have also taken to putting highly anticipated characters on banner at the same time, practically forcing you to pay if you want a chance at getting them, in comparison to other hoyo games, genshin has fallen off horribly and is getting really bad.
