1-4分でタクシーを配車できると表示されているにも関わらず、実際リクエストすると11分を超えてもなお配車されない。時間にタイトな時にタクシーを利用するもとでこのように詐欺レベルの配車時間の違いは論外。

Beware Go Taxi charges more than double in surcharges!
Wow Go Taxi has horrendous surcharges! When we flagged taxis down it was just 1000 to the station but using Go Taxi they charged us an extra extra 1200 surcharge! The meter said only 1000.
Rejects all payments
Waste of time. The app is developed for easy use but it rejected two payments. I didn’t have time to troubleshoot but I did have enough time to delete my account and use Uber instead.
Need Japanese #

several cards in apple pay. none of them work. tried adding cards directly in app. didn’t work either. useless.
DO NOT USE
The app only allows for pre-written messages to be sent to drivers, so you can’t properly communicate with them. You never know if the drivers are doing other drop offs/pick ups before you and that’s why they’re running 30+ minutes late. And when it says “Arriving soon” and the driver is clearly driving away from the pick up location, you’re left confused since that is not “arriving soon”. Canceled multiple rides as this service does not work.
Disgusting drivers who only care about money
I have been using Go in japan for over 2 weeks, and ive had over five instances where the drivers will intentionally take longer to either arrive at the destination or arrive to you for pick up just to increase the amount of money given to them for the trip. They have stolen more than 4000 yen from me by extending the drive without reason. Use uber instead!!

HORRIBLE APPLICATION
Coupon codes do not work
It is very much advertised as new account discount. But when I try it says ‘for new users only’. I just downloaded the app today. The last time I visited Japan was 1998 - I’m quite sure I did not have a GO account in 1998!

Good app terrible customer service
I used to use Go several times a week for a year. Then somehow I inadvertently triggered a cancellation error on the backend… they locked my account with no warning and were not able to tell me what the issue was or how to fix it (tried in English and Japanese). After a month of emailing to sort it out they halfway fixed the problem, but I gave up on them.
Anyway, if you never have any backend issues the app is good. If you ever have a customer service issue or need support you’re out of luck.

Honestly uber is better.
The app itself had very simple and plain settings. It’s hard to reach customer service and there’s really nothing the user can do to request support during/when requesting a ride. I’ll be switching back to uber because it has more options and the service is faster/more reliable.
Almost unusable
Sadly unlike uber, this app asks you to try and find your taxi rather than the other way around. Worse the GPS is so faulty you can’t tell where you or the cab is. And you can’t really communicate other than through 2 irrelevant messages. Use uber.
foreigner pricing
check all the fine print because when you book a taxi it does not show the exact price at all it predicted our price to be between 11k yen - 30k yen but then charged us 50k yen for the taxi from tokyo to NRT. be careful when booking a taxi, this is far too expensive
Your driver will scam you
Your 80 year old driver will pick up some random person and charge your for their ride. Legitimately unbelievable that this is even possible.
Scammed by GO - 3rd party embedded ad - asked to verify location - immediately charged sms scam
Do not trust the GO app - they have embedded scam ads inside their app - and the scammers have crafted the ad links to look like a GO page. The sms “location verification” was actually an sms otp charge.. they need to do a better job of vetting their advertisers. They should never allow ads like this to pop up in the middle of a taxi transaction. It was not clear this was a 3rd party ad

Expensive
I’ve tried the service so many times, and it’s almost double the price of Uber. Do not use. I took a taxi ride that was five minutes away, it ended up charging me almost 10 USD

I was told this app was convenient to use for taxis in Japan, but without a Japanese phone number, it cannot be used.
I’ve managed to do everything else in this country for two months with only a data plan so deleting poorly designed app.

Horrible Service
They drive extra miles to add yen to the total. My driver passed the correct turn, (his GSP is right there to see) I told him immediately that he missed the turn, he just looked at me and said nothing. Within 30 seconds the ETA went up ten minutes. When we finally arrived at my hotel I used google translate to let him know I would contact the company to get that portion of money returned, it’s been a few days already and no word yet from the company. Pretty bad service in my opinion. It added about $9 USD to the total.
Over charge do not use it
Downloaded app before to travel to Japan. Hope to use it while I’m there for three weeks, but only use once from my hotel to the port less than 7 Km. Front desk staff told me tax should be cost 3to 4K yen. Tried GO provided the estimate cost between 3300 to 4300. Found out they charged over 6300 yen. Reported to GO but did nothing. The driver has to use high way but map route showing in the GO did not change. Not meter was used and did not tell me the final cost at dropping location. Never used GO and just normal taxi. Meter always used only very a little over charge but never 50%. Never use GO in Japan to avoid ripping off.
garbage/garbage no score deserved
doesn’t track your realtime location put the pickup location across my place where there’s no pedestrians cross; you can only cross through bridge or underpass and the best thing is there’s no fare display and real time cancellation option! I thought click next would let me see how much the fare cost next thing you know boom! You stuck with the ride and can’t cancel! This app is borderline scam, my Japan visiting experience is almost perfect except this garbage app doesn't track
Would not allow me to set up an account despite enabling it to track and allowing location services.
Like the title says, tried multiple times to no avail.
Extremely hard to find the Cancel button
I requested for a car, and then learned about my friend also got a car. I decided to cancel, while I was never able to find where to cancel - ended up leaving the driver waiting for 10+ mins. I understand you want to discourage people to cancel the ride & therefore make more money, but is this really the right way to do so??????
Deceptive rates
App showed a 8,000 yen flat rate for trip to the airport and then charged almost 14,000 yen- a massive difference! The driver also brought me to the incorrect terminal. The app has virtually no customer service and will not refund me the difference, I would recommend using didi app instead.

I’ve been trying to get GO to refund me this difference via email, because the app simply doesn’t allow you to dispute fares. I shared all relevant evidence, but GO simply refuses to review the GPS data to validate that the driver did indeed drive extra distance that was unwarranted. They tell me that this is just how their ride share fare works.
When the app works it’s great. When you get into dispute territory, you’re out of luck. Better just use Uber since they won’t scam you out of your money when it’s the driver’s mistake.

App messes with audio and interrupts.
Please fix this app from interrupting music. It switches the sound from the phone’s speaker to the earpiece speaker for calls, it also changes the volume.

EARLY MORNING
Our driver was great. A short distance from Sotestu Fresa Inn Namda to OCAT. The assistance of the driver was greatly appreciated since my wife recently injured her hand. The movement of luggage was helpful. Thank you!
Worked until it didn’t
The app worked flawlessly for the first week of our trip; multiple rides over multiple days. And then the app just wouldn’t work. When I tried to book a ride it would say that GoPay wasn’t available. When I switched payment method then it would say I was not in Japan. App worked great until it didn’t.
