Slow degradation of a great product
Godaddy acquired a great graphic app “Over”developed for iPad and iPhone. Over the past few years they have slowly eroded the design to the point that it barely resembles the app’s original intent and is now just another website tool. The latest change removed the old start-up menu and initial design configuration. I won’t be renewing.
Crashing
In general the one-stop App is good. But every time I click on “Conversations” the App crashes. Can I still use the old Conversations App?
Brand Kit Keeps Disappearing
I have used this app since it was called OVER. It keeps deleting my brand kit and the only way to restore it is to uninstall and reinstall the app. This is unacceptable. I want a refund.

I miss Over
With the move to integrate GoDaddy and GoDaddy Studio (Over), I lost my main reason using the app. I primarily used Studio for graphic design, and now the app is primarily focused on marketing for sites. I understand this is very useful, but it is not the reason I used the app. Now everything is too clunky for my use case. I’ll have to start using Canvas, and I’m sad about this.

Thanks so much for randomly making so many things in the free version cost $10 a month now that’s very cool of you. I will completely stop using this app now.

We are a small church and have used this service since 2011 somewhere around 2020 our bill went up 100…then another hundred in 2023 ..we are now stuck paying almost $400 for products we don’t even use and no one at customer service will help us. They take complete advantage of small businesses and non profits through their fine print so make sure you read all of it ..they are scammers! We are currently looking for a new host. BAD BUSINESS BE AWARE ! They don’t care how long you have been a customer as long as they get their money they are unwilling to help you. .

app used to be great. constant rebrands have diminished it. contacted support for help with a issue and they have proved to be very unhelpful. paying for a product that i can’t use the full features of.

Bring back conversations app
They closed the conversation app and made you revert to this app before it was ready for prime time. Now I no longer see the thread of previous correspondence and it doesn’t notify me when I get a message. It does notify me when trying to sell me something else. Terrible. Get your act together.

Moving conversations to an app that doesn’t work with a Google login is a horrible idea
This app is very unstable. After updating it on my iPhone I had to delete it entirely and reinstall it to get it to work.
Additionally I only want notifications for conversations but there doesn’t seem to be an option for that instead I am getting spammed with notifications about everything

3 YEARS DOWN THE DRAIN
Since the recent updates GoDaddy has been impossible to work with it does not keep track of products anymore so if there’s only one left in quantity 5 can be ordered it has deleted orders but kept the customers money that ordered during updates and removed all history of the orders (only found out through my customers messaging me) put our personal number and email on order forms without our permission, put off sale items back on the shop that have been discontinued and had no inventory, got rid of our usps account and now we can’t even use usps had no shipping options for weeks so we couldn’t receive a single order. Merged both of our company names together on order form is literally been months without any improvement. We still have to print out all of our orders just to keep quantity by ourselves because our website can’t even provide that basic tool. We are jumping ship and changing to a different website. Absolutely terrible experience would not recommend also they are getting rid of the communication tool so it’ll be impossible to communicate with customers on the website now from your phone and it’s also not even accessible to do things from your phone like it used to be. I used to be able to edit our whole website from my phone and now I can barely do that from the website browser on a computer.
I WOULD NEVER suggest GoDaddy, ever
Have been having issues with GoDaddy for DECADES within the IT industry. “Oh I’m sorry but we can’t allow you to copy the server contents and move that information, sir.” all the way to when my father in law died, and they wouldn’t release the database information WHICH HELD RECORD of PAYMENTS made to the State of Texas JUIDICIAL/Criminal Justice System, and no one cared. At all. I eventually threw my hands up, and gave up. The business obviously pulled its contract, and went elsewhere… and GoDaddy says they’re not responsible in ANY way. I think we’re about to take them through the Criminal Justice system and see how sound that is. I can’t believe we lost an entire BUSINESS because they wouldn’t help us with my husband’s dead dad’s accounts. We even sent over copies of his information and death cert - absolutely NO traction, and it was disgustingly disrespectful at the time when it happened. It made my husband feel useless, and losing his dad’s business really hurt him. No one at GoDaddy to this DAY will admit their fault, and not a SOUL has tried to fix it. Generic BS replies from the “people” we “talk” to. It’s sad… the whole scenario was sad, and then dealing with GoDaddy will eventually become a sad affair at some point. Avoid them at all costs.

I have used them for about three years now, there’s been nothing but technical issues and constant needs to call Tech Support. Good luck, getting a hold of somebody on the phone you can understand, and very, very, very confusing systems. I should’ve stuck with Wix. Do not recommend it’s bad for your business.

No functional
This rebrand of the studio app has caused me to not be able to use the app at all. Anytime I go on the app to do anything either I can’t or redirects me online. I’m also not going to pay to use an app when I’m paying for all of the content separately. That’s just money hungry. Then the online content is not accurately updating my to my website. This app is truly terrible.

Major Security Issues
It has not been a week, and I am not able to Publish My Site Securely. I am not able to proceed because there has been an issue for almost a week, with the Security of Website Builder (Go Daddy). The message states any information that you provide on this site is not secure! I purchased a domain as well. I have contacted Customer Service and they repeatedly state, they do not know when this issue will be resolved. I need my customers to feel SAFE WHEN THEY SHOP. When is this SECURITY ISSUE GOING TO BE RESOLVED?! You are offering us a product that has not met Consumer Protection. What is going on?
WontGoDaddy. Terrible app.
This app is trash. It has constant errors, annoying pop-ups pushing you to spend money on garbage Godaddy products, an awful Ai that intrudes on creative functions which takes up time and generates gibberish slop, glitches that erase your work and restarts you to the beginning of the app which generates the pop-ups again. The desktop manager has many of the same problems. I’ve stuck with Godaddy since 2019 and year after year their products get more expensive and significantly drop in quality. Run from this company if you value your time and money. I am permanently discontinuing my subscription and business with WontGoDaddy.
Nuisance notifications
The abuse, their notification privileges and send nuisance notifications. No way to turn them off other than stopping all notifications from their app from the system level.

Why do I have to sign in every minute? This is insane. You obviously don’t know how many anti-Trump graphics I have to make.
Can’t wait to be done
I cannot wait to be done with GoDaddy. The overall service is slow and very limited and overpriced. The moment that my subscription runs out, I will no longer be using GoDaddy. save yourself some money and just list your stuff on Etsy. This is not the service you want to use it. It’s terrible.
Regret
GoDaddys terrible product organization, marketing and customer service has claims another victim. What a pos monster. It doesn’t know its right hand from its left. Who cares how good an individual product is if it doesn’t integrate with the products and demographic you are marketing to. A big one off to GD.
No longer works
I’m so frustrated, this app use to work perfectly and now it it’s says “it’s not you, it’s us. Something went wrong” I used this app every single day for work. Now I’ll have to use Canva.

Rebrand ruined.
I’ve been using this app for years and now I am unable to load anything. It says retry, doesn’t load and everything is a mess. I’m so sad. This was one of my favorite content apps.

you rebranded and the app no longer works. all i get now is a message that says “oops… something went wrong” & there’s a button to retry & it does nothing. i deleted the app & reinstalled it with no change.
This used to be my favorite tool
I’ve gone from a five star to a one star rating here. I have put up with so many changes that were attempt at adding functionality but just made things more complicated and caused the app to crash more. But now with this most recent update, I can see my old projects but not one of them will load. This makes all of the work that I have done for years completely unavailable and useless

Login Screen blank white page
I’m using the latest iOS 26 on an iPhone 17, I can’t login to the app. Just showing a blank white page.

Every update gets worse.
Nothing good to say. All mobile applications and uses are pointless. GoDaddy does not work on the app. Forget trying to do any blogging , marketing, or editing your site. You will hustle grow frustrated. There is a TON OF WORK TO BE DONE for this app to even be usable.

Refund update
Had to open a dispute with the bank to finally get the refund. Thanks to my bank I was able to get my money back.
Asked for a refund after 5 days because I forgot to cancel the free trial and I was denied a refund. “Doesn’t meet refund requirements” under “didn’t mean to buy”. Absolutely unacceptable.

Not what it used to be
This used to be one of the best apps around but recent changes subsequent GoDaddy’s acquisition of the app, in particular the incessant need to re-log into a GoDaddy account, have rendered it nearly unusable. Sadly looking for a new platform.
AIRO IS BLOCKING PHOTO UPLOAD BUTTON
I loved this app for a long time but the stupid AI button is right on top of the photo upload button and there is no way to move or remove it! At this point I cannot add photos to my website or blog posts because of this stupid error. Remove the AI button and make it a feature people can use if they want to seek it out, it shouldn’t be in the way of the basic workflow this is just bad user experience.
GoDaddy Ruined This App
Ever since GoDaddy acquired this app, the user experience has significantly worsened. Requiring constant logins and third-party authentication through the GoDaddy website makes quick editing almost impossible. This used to be my favorite app… unfortunately, not anymore.

Why does everything need an account…
This app used to be great. Now I need to sign in everytime I open the app on an external web page. It should at least be natively in the app and not require sign in every time... I can no longer edit while traveling because I need to log in everytime which requires an internet connection. Such a shame

Can’t sign in
When I log in through the little browser window it opens, it doesn’t sign into the app. Instead it signs into that little browser window. Why?? I am on iPad.
Stop providing me bloatware I never wanted
I use you as a DNS and domain broker. Nothing more. Why do I need TWO apps to manage my account?! Unacceptable. Will be moving off of your platform soon
Serious issue with signing in
I lost access to my first account because the app kept logging me out repeatedly. I contacted the help center but never received a response. Eventually, I had to create a new account and pay for another subscription, yet I’m facing the same issue - constant logouts, even with an Authenticator set up. This has become seriously frustrating and unnecessarily complicated for a design app. I hope the development team reviews this issue and provides a clear resolution soon.
Used to love this app
Used this app allll the time. Now they make you sign in everytime and have to change your password everytime. You have to authenticate 100 different ways. This app is trash now
Technical problems
I can’t access the app in anyway the first thing that appears in my screen when I open the app is the sign in and create an account buttons . I already have an account but these two buttons are not loading. I don’t have this issue on my android it’s only on my iPad. How can I fix it.
Lost everything!
I had years of work in this app. Brand designs, album artwork, promotional materials. And then today I had to “create an account.” I couldn’t get in to preserve my work. I never had to have an account before. I tried old usernames. I tried everything. I. Lost. Everything. All so you can make more money by forcing people to have accounts. This may very well be the last day I ever use this app just on principle.
