I download the game.
Im introduced into the most passive lifeless mining world you can imagine.

Like the game, but the ads are out of control
Like the game itself and enjoy playing it. But not only does it have some of the longest ads I’ve seen, but numerous times the ads froze or wouldn’t let me exit making me watch another ad. Just got done going through 4 ads because they would not let me get the reward! So the game is now gone!
Poor customer support
I have played this game for years. This game hasn’t loaded on my iPad for two days. When I attempted multiple times to reach their “app support”, the form wouldn’t submit due to “errors” thought all fields were properly filled out.

Game was fun until they stopped with the amount a barrel gives you, use to give more than double of your largest mine, now it gives 50 percent less than your largest mine

This company admits that the game isn’t currently what is shown on the App Store , stating “Maybe you will see those features in the future”. One could argue that this is false advertising. Just build a game and show actual gameplay, stop trying to show off something that you clearly haven’t built. You don’t have to be all things at once. Be honest with what you have currently built.

As a LONG TIME player of this game just to kill time I’ve realized over the years this game is a SUPER money grabber. As far as logging in a few times a day to just collect and SLIGHTLY progress, it’s ok. BUT if you ever want to hit top leaderboards in any event aside from the gem and elixir 30h events you will have to spend a few hundred dollars. If not more. It will also give you nothing in return. You can gain more just from chillin out and never giving effort. Leaderboards are quite obviously scammed. I tested it. Put in as many hours as possible in a 4 day event just to never even get all the keys required to get rewards.! MONEY GRAB GAME! Fair warning guys

I downloaded this game after seeing the ad in another game. The actual game is nothing like what was shown in the ad.

If you want to play the game shown in the advertisement where you push gems through gates and things like that, then don’t bother downloading this game. There is not a single moment of that kind of gameplay on this app.

The game is absolutely nothing like the ad portrays. Download it expecting the relaxing bulldozer game from the ad and you’ll be completely disappointed. The only thing you will find is yet another overly complicated resource management game clone. I’m deleting it, save yourself the bother.

Was not the game that was advertised. Editing my review to say that the developers in replies to comments like mine promise to add this gameplay in the future but it is legit impossible. The game advertised is COMPLETELY different than the actual game. I wonder why the deception is necessary. Just to have us download once to sell our information I’m guessing.

Game imagery completely has no basis in reality. Complete fabrication and lie. And the only part that kinda sorta did was removed.
Money Grab
I’ve been playing Gold and Goblins for a while and really enjoyed it at first. The problem is the developers keep ignoring half the game. They’ve been “working on” main mine updates for weeks with no sign of them actually releasing, yet every few days they reload brand new pay-to-play boards and events designed to squeeze more money out of players.
It feels completely one-sided. They have no problem pushing new monetization content, but can’t be bothered to finish or release the core updates for the main mine. I’m tired of waiting and being hit with more cash grabs instead.
Until they balance development with their endless monetization, I can’t recommend this game anymore. Very disappointed.

DON’T PLAY
This game is nothing like the adds and is a horrible game
Hard to distinguish between mines!
Before the mine is automated you can click on the mine to upgrade but once you automate the mine you have to look at the little picture and hope you select the correct one.
Pay to play
This game was decent a couple years back. Now, it’s strictly pay to play/win. It’s also extremely regressive…the higher you go the less resources you get and the weaker the miners become. Its not worth playing anymore since I have to pay to power the miners up. 10/10 would not recommend downloading unless you don’t mind paying to get anything worthwhile.
Update from the next day. Only 90 second ads and when I got the first 30 second ad, the game crashed after the ad finished. Watching 90 second ads for the bare minimum resource makes me happy

When I downloaded the app my phone started to lag for no reason. I knew it was probably a spy tracker. Also when you click on the discord link server it sends you to their websites NOT discord. It is a malware as I know it

An absolute farce
The development team of this game teams you away from being able to actually compete. They have bots that will not let you progress to actually win. I have seen it and I am actually working right now to have this happen. You cannot without buying spending money to have anything going forward. This is not a game to play for enjoyment. They absolutely rape you of your money only to be exhausted later on they keep on pumping the numbers later on so you have to spend more and more just to try. And complete the next journey in their encountersAgain, I have been in the top rank three several times without spending a dime, but seeing that somehow the numbers don’t exist that the increase sequentially nothing actually makes sense. These people are crooks and this entire game is the show is the absolute scam

I like idle games but this isn’t the one for me I don’t want to buy goblins just so I can sit and wait for them to mine stone the ads are fake so this deserves a 1 star sorry.if you added the ad game mode so many more people would be playing this game better fix devs.
“Idle” but its not
It takes 30 minutes to get through one layer. You have to break rocks with leveling up goblins, but you get enough money for a single goblin after 10 minutes, but the goblins cant do anything until they are fully leveled up. You would think being on the 10th mine it would be a slightly faster process but its slow and the time waster starts to feel like im actually wasting time and not enjoying my time. 3-10 minutes per rock no matter how much you level up your goblins. You can tell it’s a bad game because all the 5 star reviews are bots with paragraphs made from AI.

What you see in the preview isn’t the game at all. Why? It makes no sense. Very let down.

The promo was fun to play so I downloaded it. It was bait and switch. Game is boring and not enjoyable. Where’s the game that I played in the promo, that game was interesting?
Devs can’t keep up with new levels
Nothings worse than getting to a max level and then having to wait weeks to play again. Events are money grabbing and repeat over and over
