The App Version Sucks
Seriously. The app version constantly glitches. What you put in constantly disappears then pops back up randomly. It stresses me out. I can’t count on this app to work every single time.

impossible to create new account
The app requires a 4 digit code sent by sms to cell number, this is initial process for creating the account. But the code never arrives and the option to receive it by phone call is not working either.

not receiving deposits into my account
i don’t appreciate how i am receiving deposits from my clients an the account number doesnt match up with the one i put on file and the dates that its supposedly says the money was deposited into my account no money is deposited.

You pay for the app and still get ads
Is your time not valued? Do you sit around twiddling your thumb cause you have nothing to do? Are you frustrated with advertisement so you pay for the app and get more advertisement? You pay $19.99 a month for the app and before you can log a appointment, you have to go through the advertisement which moves you over to safari and then you have to go back to the app and then relog the appointment. Contacting customer support they tell you to turn off the ads in your settings and it still doesn’t work. They ask for a screenshot and then they said “At this time, the specific news and notifications you mentioned cannot be disabled”

Not worth it!!
There have been so many updates to this app and honestly I still run into the same problem every few weeks. They “fix” it and the same thing keeps happening. For the amount we pay monthly, I don’t understand how Goldie isn’t able to keep my website the color I assign it. If you’re reading this I would invest into a better booking system. I’ve had this app for over 1 year and there’s not many improvements. I like the ease of booking and appointment but there’s always so many glitches and I’m fed up. Don’t waste your money on this app!
Was GREAT until it wasn’t
Goldie has been a great appointment scheduler. I’ve been using it for two years. Have never had any issues up until the recent update a few days ago. Every single appointment I have on the schedule, is showing double appointments (the same client showing twice on the list)and it’s extremely frustrating when trying to set new appointments. It’s so funny that their update said “bug fixes” when it didn’t seem to have any bugs before. It looks like they gave it bugs fixing them. I also tried emailing them by copying and pasting the email on file, but I got an email back saying it couldn’t be delivered.. So I can’t even talk to anybody about anything and I’m just stuck with it. If you’re going to do updates on your app, do them right, instead of screwing up something that didn’t even need fixing
Awful
I have had this app for several years and it has been amazing however as the last 2 months it has been awful!! I have had clients go missing so I thought there was availability when there was not. I have been triple booked due to this multiple times now. I reached out to the company and they told me to remove the app and reinstall it, I did with no change. They have no way to contact them aside from their customer service on the app where they email with no explanation and no improvement. I am looking for a new app due to this. I do pay the monthly subscription fee so it is not just a trial thing. It used to be great now it is awful!!!!!!
Glitch or issue with app
I have been using this app for the past couple of years. It was great… until a couple of days ago when the app erased my entire schedule and what day and time I was meeting with everyone. Will update if/when it gets fixed but for the price I’m paying a year, this shouldn’t happen.
Always bugging

Takes them forever to answer and they finally do it’s to ask the stupid question to only delay the help. Then you respond the stupid question and have to wait another 24 hours. Nothing gets done. Cancelling to look for an app with real customer service with a call center not a lazy person who replies to my concern whenever they choose to while my problem still persists.

Useless with Google Calendar
This app has tremendously significant issues syncing with a Google Calendar. I’ve worked with tech-support and they’ve told me that it’s an issue that will be resolved in the next update but have given me no timeline for that. At this point I’m grappling with the fact that my employer calendar and my Goldie calendar don’t sync up.
It wont send text reminders

We hope this issue will be addressed in upcoming updates, as the app has great potential but this problem greatly affects its usability and trustworthiness.

Booking site issues
I have had Goldie on and off for years. The last few years I decided to pay for some features because my business was growing. One of the paid features allowed you to customize your website. I went in and I customize my website to my liking and every single month It would revert back on its own to the default settings. I reached out to Goldie to ask them why this was happening and their response was that when the bill comes due, it reverts back to the original settings until the payment is made. Which is very confusing for me because I was set up on auto draft and they never had a problem with billing from me. I emailed them several times about this and it has taken them over a month to get me a resolution and I won’t even know if it’s resolved until it’s time for billing again. I really just feel like the customer service is off and with so many booking apps available. They need to step their game up.

Not great on iPads
We’ve consistently had issues with Goldie on our iPad which is fully updated. Goldie often takes forever to load, make an appointment, and sync appointments. Our internet connection is strong and we have plenty of data available on our device. The app is well designed, but I don’t recommend it for iPads.
It could be better…
I’ve sent reports via email about the app deleting client information and even about the generated monthly reports being wrong and the help has been not the best one. I don’t see improvement or changes with the issues I’ve raised flags on. They don’t have a customer service line to call on, everything is by email and they’re not efficient. Other than this, the software is good and I recommend it. They just need to have a better customer service experience.
