Save your money and skip this app! Her strategy to deal with any aggressive behavior is to say “I won’t let you hit …” and then grab your child’s hand and hold it down. Well this only escalates the behavior and makes my child start squirming to get away while becoming more aggressive
Customer service is non existent
Downloaded the app after reading about trial period guarantee. There were some good things in the app but decided it wasn’t worth it. Been weeks since contacting customer service for a refund within trial period and nothing. Now I have to go through hassle of credit card claim. Would not recommend. Just buy the book.

I was really excited to try Good Inside, but unfortunately it just didn’t work for our family. We’re a foster family, and the commitment to daily lessons and activities didn’t fit our unpredictable schedule.
The real disappointment came when I was accidentally charged after trying to cancel. The only way to contact support is through email, and despite reaching out promptly, I didn’t get a response. When I followed up, I was told repeatedly that I hadn’t contacted them in time, even though I had messages sent through their own website.
After weeks of back and forth, they still refused to issue a refund, despite clear evidence that I hadn’t used the app. The whole experience felt impersonal and not at all parent-centered, which is ironic given their mission.

No trial no way to know the value

This has not given one thing to teach the child yet. I’m following it, but so far it’s just tricks to distract and manipulate.
Frustrating
You cannot save your spot!! If you are doing one of her workshops it does now allow you to save your spot. I emailed them to confirm. 🤯 This app is for busy parents. It makes no sense. I ask the AI bot a question in her app with a challenge I’m facing with my children. It recommends a workshop. I start the workshop. Not only does it not save your spot but there is no where to even save the workshop so later you have to go digging to find out which workshop you were listening to and where you left off. There is a chat area where you can ask community questions but too many groups that it’s convoluted and not much engagement. Apparently they highlight certain posts in the main group and those are the ones that get engagement. The advice is repetitious if you’ve read the book or follow her on social media. This app is EXPENSIVE!!!! $83 every 3 months is so steep for something that is pre-recorded videos and AI bot answers. I was so disappointed.

Love the content, app really needs work
Love the content but the app needs work. A lot of work! The search is slow and clunky and inaccurate. When you play a video the visual portion freezes and the audio keeps playing. Shortly there after the entire app becomes unresponsive. When you close the app and reopens the audio resumes from the last video but the video itself from a different lesson. Or you’re stuck at the Good Inside yellow splash screen and nothing happens for seconds. I really like the content but you’ve made it very difficult to make use of it. This rating applies to the latest version of the app running on the newest iPhone with the newest operating system. I’ve tested on different WiFi and cellular networks with similar results.
Great content, terrible App
The content is incredible and very effective. The app is frustrating beyond reason to use constant buffering, skip forward or backwards in the workshop videos. It keeps starting my workshop video over. Absolutely maddening.
Hostile Design
Was looking forward to checking this out... but there is zero way to get in the app without paying an insanely high subscription fee. No free features or at least checking out the app... no free trial or anything. This is not how you gain user base. Bad design
Transparency Concern
If you’re going to require payment to access any part of the app, do not first require a potential customer to sign up without making it very clear that is the case. That paywall was hidden behind you getting my information.

Can’t exit video player when playing a video - and have a background smaller mini player like most other iOS video playing apps. Really wish you could implement this. Including bugs like the forward and backward 15 seconds in a video not working. I’m not sure why the developer isn’t using the built in iOS video player that I thought apps can use and get these features easily.

Glitch City
Decent information but this app is terrible at presenting it. The videos restart at the slightest movement with your phone. The videos don’t save your place and it’s about the most annoying thing I’ve had to deal with this week. And that includes my kid and pregnant wife.
It’s Common Sense Tips
It’s a parenting AI chatbot, with a message board (and I’ve never gotten replies, so I’ve got no community, but ChatGPT for $84). Nothing is groundbreaking here. “Be patient with your kid”.. well, shucks! If only I’d thought of it sooner, I wouldn’t be out $30/month!
