Keep trying to create & edit documents, but keep getting a bunch of pop-ups and questions that are largely answered already through my use of the platform.
Bad filing system
 Filing system makes you very hard to navigate. I waste an inordinate amount of time searching for documents I had just created.
UI and organization are still bad

I had to enter my passcode in 50 times and it still would not let me into docks even though it was correct

If you create a document in dark mode the text will not show up in light mode at all. Not even if you copy and paste it in light mode🤦🏾

This app has ruined my life.
Google Docs is a horrible app. It may seem like a “writing application,” but it’s more than that. Through this app, I was sent a ransom note about my missing daughter by some random individuals. I hate this app. It’s caused me nothing but pain and misery. Google Docs deserves to BURN IN HELL.

Underwhelming
Google attempts to force users to use their app whenever accessing any of their products through a tablet or mobile device, just to bring us an interface that lags and slows down to a halt whenever you type more than one sentence. Now that the app has been downloaded, there is no chance to open documents through a web browser because Google automatically opens Google Docs with their app by automatically logging you into your profile based on the account that’s open in any of its other apps, so you’re stuck with it unless you delete it from your device.

I want to get rid of docs no longer needed & can’t figure out how to do that,
No spell check!
There is spell check for the mobile apps, confirmed by Google. Even worse, you cannot edit documents from the website, leaving your only option being to use the aforementioned Docs app…which doesn’t have spell check. 2026, one of the largest tech companies and their flagship document editor doesn’t have spell check.
