Still trash
I hit my 10,000 steps and heart points easy every day but only get credit half the time. Glad I don’t use it as my main tracker. Way too glitchy and imprecise. Look elsewhere for a good tracking app.
Edit: Make that over 10,000 steps once in the last 7 days even though I walked well over 10,000 steps. How is this app this broken?

NOT Syncing
Not syncing with my Apple Health
Useless
Holding entirely still but the camera heart rate checker refuses to work.
What happened
This App worked fine and now it keeps reversing walking steps. If you walk 10,450 steps it will reverse the steps to 9,200 as an example. Does this app not work with iPhone 17?
Does not work
Does not track anything Right like steps and heart points
Does not work on iPhone 16
I tried it for about a week, and it would never accurately track. The miles walked or the steps I took.
I tried all of the fixes recommended by Google Gemini, and none of them worked.
It’s very discouraging to decide to track activity in order to encourage myself to keep working out, only to have the app incorrectly tell me that I failed to meet my target when I know that I’ve done more.
I get better results just by using the native Apple health app.

Bad app
Waisting time.
Inaccurate step count, and heart points
The step counter most days is way off. Some days however it’s spot on. I check it with my other app Argus. Also the heart points sometimes don’t even show up even though I have lots of steps. It doesn’t make any sense. Today I have 39 heart points but it only shows 4707 steps. Argus has me at 8253. Please fix this!!!!

Не синхронизируются
После Ваших обновлений часы не синхронизируются с приложением. Сюда по отзывам проблема эта давно и Вы почему то не исправляете … я так понимаю, изменений ждать не стоит
Not reliable
This app refuses to count things correctly. My steps are always off. It doesn’t even show the apps to connect in my managed apps. I try all settings and it never works. Other apps like Apple Health and Activity Tracker sync fine, just this one is always off. You have to manually enter your stuff constantly. Just not worth even having. Either be accurate in itself or be able to sync to other apps. Might as well delete. I’m tired of it rolling up my weekly summary saying I didn’t hit goals that I definitely hit.
Not for FitBit
This app wouldn’t sync with iHealth nor FitBit. Hm, why was I required to conecte my FitBit to a Gmail account then?
Couldn’t connect to anything. Couldn’t do anything with this app. Deleted it an hour later.

Allow BP & glucose syncing
Please allow google fit to read and sync blood pressure and glucose from Apple health.
No more step widget??
I updated my app yesterday and my step counter widget has disappeared, which was really the only reason I used it in the first place!
Heart points
When I opened the app after a 2 mile walk heart points say 42, then I sit there and it goes down to 3. It does this every day takes away heart points and sometimes steps. So ready to get ride of this app. Only wish Apple had heart points on their app.
SUPER freakin enraging
Tracks steps only 75% of the time. Even when synced to Apple Health, consistently has ~25% fewer steps than apple health, many of which should be counted as “heart points” but are not counted. Attempted all extensive trouble-shooting to no avail. Permanently deleted and never again.
Not recording my sleep stages
I always had a Fitbit and it always recorded my sleep stages and I love that cause it tells me how much deep sleep and dreaming sleep and how much I’m awake in this app just tells me what time I went to bed and what time I got up and because Fitbit decided to go ahead and change to Google, I was clearly upset as to what Google has to offer and it does not record my steps properly on my Fitbit it will say I have 7500 steps and on the app. It says I have 2900. I believe my Fitbit. This is not an app I would like to keep. I would rather go back to my Fitbit.
Sleep amounts off
Every time I open the app, it tells me that I’ve gotten two hours of sleep or three hours of sleep, because it is pulling only the first part of my sleep session prior to my waking up to go to the bathroom. When I log into Apple health, eight hours of sleep. Log into my Pillow tracker, eight hours of sleep. But Google Fit shows two or three, and I can’t edit it.
Why made such not useful app
Not worth to use it! Data never accurate
Not works at all !
If doesn't sync with Apple health app !
Even not with my AppleWatch ultra.
i walk over 10K steps everyday but this junk app displays totally ZERO !
Wow ... great job Google-diots, you did it again!

It does nothing. Zip.
Doesn't track anything

No way to enter notes on iOS, and all notes wiped from already logged workouts.
Been using this for years, entering notes about specifics of my exercises like sets reps weights and intensity, on android devices. Switched to iOS and now there’s no way to enter notes, but not only that, ALL my previous years of notes have disappeared from every one of my logged workouts. Over 7 years of tracking my activity with specific details gone, and no way to re-enter them. Definitely switching to a different more reliable app.
Disappearing step data
The discrepancies in data between the Apple Health app and Google fit are getting worse. You actively see step data counting downward almost EVERY TIME YOU OPEN THE APP. Having to manually input the deleted step data is beyond aggravating. I assume we’ll have to get a new Google AI app for this.
Mimi
Why doesn’t this app connect to Apple Watch? Without that it doesn’t get all of a persons activity
Not reading accurately
I’ve had this app for about a month now. It worked for a couple weeks right in sync with my regular iPhone health app, but it no longer reads accurately. My iPhone health app reads the right mileage and steps and the google fit app reads 1/2 a mile less and 2-3000 steps less every time. Today I even watched it go up to the right number of steps then it went backwards 3000 steps! It’s becoming very frustrating and I’m ready to delete it from my phone!
Option missing
I use to be able to track my bike rides but I got a new phone and the option disappeared. So I guess it’s time for a new app.
Terrible update
The recent update of the sleep stages, etc. is terrible. No contrast in color format and difficult to read. Benchmarking almost non existent.
Doesn't give points for move minutes
Shows my cycling 33 miles in a little over 2 hours. Only gives credit for steps. Manual entry of cycling then gives double the miles.

Upset!
App not working correctly for my sleep tracking, please fix!
Complete and utter garbage
Occasionally, Google’s own apps are better on iOS than on Android, but this is not one such case.
Today, according to this app, I acquired 14 heart points on a 1.5-mile, 22-minute walk…which I somehow accomplished in 4 steps. This was synced from my Pixel Watch, which says I got 13 heart points for that 2104-step walk.
This and numerous other bugs have been plaguing Google Fit FOR OVER A DECADE, and Google doesn’t seem to care to fix them. (It would take many, many paragraphs to detail all of the issues, and the best that Google’s customer disservice can manage is to recommend inane “troubleshooting” steps like clearing app cache, as though getting a new phone entirely doesn’t rule out client-side issues.)
Perhaps the Google Fit cloud service is to blame, but regardless, I’m happy to penalize the app with an appropriate rating.
This is just disgraceful.

Won’t sync properly will Apple Health
I really like the layout of the app but it won’t sync with Apple health. I’ve done all the troubleshooting to get the app to sync with Apple health. It works right for a couple days and then it starts lagging behind. The only way I can get it to come up with the right numbers is to delete the app and add it again and I don’t have time for that. Otherwise it doesn’t want to keep up.
The app doesn’t sync with Apple Health
The app is simple and straightforward but unfortunately doesn’t synchronize with apple health. All the permissions is set but all the indicators show zero.
Can’t Connect A Google Product to a Google App
Wanted to see what the Google fit app was like as someone on the Fitbit forum stated Google appeared to have bought Fitbit and took all the good features and put them in the Google app. For background, the fitbit app received an update that took away many great tracking features and enraged 1000s of customers. Apparently you can’t connect the Fitbit app or a Fitbit device to the Google fit app. Really absurd in my opinion, and settles my decision to get a Garmin tracker or watch that is 1/2 the price of whatever garbage watches Google is putting out these days.
Looks like Google bought out yet another company, did nothing good with the tech they acquired or weren’t intelligent enough to do anything with it, and then trashed the app in an attempt to increase their market share.

Can’t connect Fitbit.
So disappointing that google fit can’t connect to Google’s own Fitbit product. Please fix
Terrible tracker
This ap goes backwards when tracking steps. It removes about 2000 steps per day.
Backdated app
Google fit product manager- when will we get a fitbit integration. Right now you are just an apple takedown response against their health app.
It is a crappy APP.
Google = Microsoft 20 ago - Fat big dying dinosaur. This app is so crappy and it doesn’t provide the correct step count for my daily power walk. Today, I did more than 5100 steps already but only record 2800 steps. The same issue has been happening for the past 2 months. I do consider Google product inferior product which is not really for prime time.
If Google has no interest to make a good product in Apple App Store, please just leave and don’t bloat the Apple eco system for this crappy software.
pS. It ignores power walking , jogging, hiking and running step counts so you can only use it for walking but not other exercises.

Looks like butt on a tablet.
It is currently 2023 and we still get apps designed for a phone screen with zero thought given to tablets. Sigh.
Terrible App on iOS
Google Fit is useless on iOS! It’s a much better App on Android! Besides the missing features, Fit has a mind of its own and counts steps backwards, and does not synch with Health properly. Really disappointing! Shame!
Desyncs and becomes useless.
Fit worked great for nearly 3 weeks, and then it completely desyced from Health, losing roughly 2000 steps every walk. Threads about this get locked by Google claiming it’s Health’s fault, however their troubleshooting doesn’t work. It’s a pull issue with Fit and it gets confused. Refresh doesn’t work. Needs a manual sync option. Daily goals are meaningless if this doesn’t properly keep track of things. There are enough complaints about this to be a priority issue, but Google refuses to acknowledge it’s an issue with their app.
Update: it still just inexplicably breaks. You need to uninstall and reinstall to get it to sync. It’s crazy how they will deflect this problem as an apple health problem when clearly it has something to do with fit just ignoring the data after a while.

Which is to blame iOs or Google?
Google Fit route map does not function with iOS. And there is no “Track Activity” option which lets you track a workout, only “Add Activity” which lets you manually enter. Very disappointing.
Doesn’t sync
Sleep stats won’t update even as my steps do update
Eventually it stops responding, especially on my watch
Works for a while flawlessly, then the heart monitor will start to not respond , after getting that to work , later on the workout feature starts to give a similar message… cannot start xxxxx and my only option is to reset… eventually it gets redundant… so it’s a useless app for me , as I’ve installed it after updates thinking those issues will resolve … oh well… when it works , it works nicely …
It this app only for women?
Dear google. Men do not need to track menstrual cycles. I find it ridiculous that the first entry option is for tracking your period. Not sure why this is bothering me but it’s not like google to do stupid things. Please address this.
Got buggy. DELETED
Worked great for years but not any more. Just walked a mile and my steps count DROPPED. Walker Tracker tracked steps accurately. Not Google Fit though. Buggy.
Deleted. Final straw: sitting at 5,000 steps. Ran a mile. App not only didn’t update, it DROPPED 1,000 steps when I refreshed. Disappointed, because I really liked this app for years.

Not Useful for Step Counting
This app is infuriating when it comes to counting steps. It’s inconsistent, doesn’t update quickly, and is off. Ran over 3 miles today. Apple Health shows me at 8k plus and same with my Garmin Watch. Google Fit however has me at 3400. This app really needs work.
App useless now
This used to work good but lately every time I wake up for a minute, the sleep app restarts the sleeping time. The heart activity registers when doing activity but then little while later it deletes it and starts over. Frustrating and useless at this point.
