Very bad rollout
Features like sleep do not work
Horrible Fitbit Aria Replacement App
This app replacing the Fitbit app is absolutely horrible. I have used the Fitbit Aria to track my weight and body fat for years. With this new app, I can no longer easily scroll through and see my weight and body fat together by days. It no longer allows me to delete if I weigh myself more than once per day. It’s a horrible update and I would like to look for an alternative, but I have years worth of weight/body fat that I have been tracking and don’t really want to move to something new. Please fix these awful features and go back to how the Fitbit app tracked weight and body fat and allow individual deletions.
App completely ruined
Unfortunately the switch to Google health from Fitbit has made the app full of bugs, that has rendered major parts like sleep tracking useless. Huge bummer, loved my Fitbit. I’ll happily update my rating if these issues are addressed but so far nothing!
Used to be decent.
Well, what can I say? Google went and got their hands on a product/company they had no business owning and now all of their products are terrible now I tried using this app to log a workout and it just straight up canceled the workout and stop tracking my steps, heart rate for no reason I was in motion no less I have no idea why Fitbit agreed to this, but whatever update this app got is horrible give us the option to go back.
Fitbit user
Possibly the biggest failure of a new app ever.
Ruined a great fitness tracking app
I’ve owned and used FitBit products for 13 years. I was devastated when Google first bought them out because I knew they would end up destroying a great product. It seems we are in the final stages of that process now. The previous iterations of the FitBit app were great, worked reliably, and were easy to navigate. This Google replacement as absolute garbage. This is honestly the final straw for me. It’s about time to replacement my watch, and I will be purchasing literally anything but a Google/FitBit product.
Faulty App that replaced the FitBit App!
This app never works properly. I logged food twice today and it keeps disappearing. This app is NOT an improvement from the Fitbit app no matter how you’d like to think it is with the “Google” name on it. I would highly recommend in the future you get the kinks worked out of an app before you introduce it to users and disrupt their daily lifestyle they are trying to lead a healthy lifestyle with. PLEASE either fix this app or bring back the Fitbit app.
Not the app we wanted
But the app we deserve. Everything is for sale, developers have a price. It was good before we got forced into this futurist heck.
Awful
This app is inferior to the Fitbit app. It provides less information and it is not a user friendly app. The statistics charts are not helpful and are more complicated than the Fitbit. I DESPISE that my Fitbit was commandeered by Google! I’ll be getting a new and different fitness tracker/watch soon.
Hate it
I loved my Fitbit and the app, but once it was updated to google health, it sucks. I hate using the app. Once my Fitbit dies, I will switch to Garmin.
AI coach is terrible
The coach can’t remember what days things occurred on, it thinks a nap I took last week was earlier this morning.
My workout routine was developed by my physical therapist but no matter how many times I remind it that it’s not open to changes the coach always wants to propose alternative workouts.
Thankfully unlike many others have reported my core data seems functional but all around Google should be embarrassed by this release.

BRING THE OLD FITBIT BACK
Terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE! The old Fitbit app was SO much better and more intuitive. I hate how you can’t manually enter activities like driving on the new app or remove miscounted steps. Was on a bumpy drive and my watch added over 2000 steps. This will be my last Fitbit device. Thanks for ruining a good thing, Google.
Not Easy
The quality of everything Fitbit has went down since being purchased by Google. The latest app change to Google Health is horrible and will be the final straw for me even though I’ve used a Fitbit watch for over 10 years. I’m looking for a new replacement health tracker.
What happened
I’m not sure why they decided to switch over to this app, the last one was perfect in my opinion, and now the “focus” section is barely customizable and feels like not nearly the same amount of info is given.
Still too small
Please fix the icons on the first screen to be bigger still. The change is better, but it’s still too small to be useful.
Ruined the Fitbit app
Since switching over from Fitbit to Google Health, the app has significantly decreased in usability and graphics. The sleep tracking is extremely less detailed for benchmark tracking and even overall duration tracking. The ability to track calories through adding custom foods has disappeared completely. The Home Screen is no longer customizable and quite frankly looks childish and clunky. Not worth having Fitbit premium anymore. They took away so many features like EOV, the social groups, messaging, sleep profiles, mental health and breathing, etc. The app has been consistently getting data wrong or projecting it incorrectly. Just absolutely horrible. I wish this could just all be reversed.
Time?
Can’t get my Fitbit to tell correct time. Otherwise, useless.
Goodbye
June 11th the last update ruined my access to the Google Health app. My Versa 4 was fine. I’ve invested in replacement bands which are useless since my Versa 4 can no longer sync to the app for 12 days now. I have been using Fitbit since 2015. Time to say goodbye!
Battery life is terrible now
Ever since the switch from Fitbit to Google health a few weeks ago my Fitbit Charge 6 won’t hold a charge for more than 2 hours. It’s useless now.
Update ruined my Fitbit
I have had a Versa 2 for a while and an older model for years. My Fitbit went black a week after the “Google Health” updated app. I bought a new one thinking it was my Versa 2. I bought a Fitbit Lite. Google Health can’t find the device. I’ve done EVERY suggested online troubleshooting idea. Nothing works. The app simply will not connect. So I blew money on a new Fitbit that won’t work with this app while my last watch was probably cooked by this app. What a joke. What a waste of my money. Thanks
Update is not user-friendly
User interface is no longer user friendly or intuitive. Takes more time to find or edit items than before. App is now pretty much useless for me. Have been a FitBit user for ~5 years and will now likely switch to Apple or Garmin.
Lousy Update to Fitbit
More than just getting used to where everything is, it’s not logical and awkward, demanding to track what I don’t want.
I won’t be buying another Fitbit after this one wears out. The ap just doesn’t perform well, and I don’t want my info out there

Change from Fitbit
I really HATE this new app
Inferior to Fitbit App
I loved the Fitbit app and used it for years. The google health app took everything that was great about the Fitbit app and ruined it. It’s not intuitive at all; finding anything is so cumbersome, and when I do finally find what I’m looking for I can never remember how I got there and have to go through the whole process again. Switching to a weekly view should be way easier to find and why is the period tracker so hidden?! The Fitbit app was made with the users in mind. The google health app changed things just to change them and didn’t take the user into account at all. If you’re going to force me to convert to this app at least keep it the same or make it better.
Awful Update!!
Google Engineering botched the roll out of this app basically non-functional for days for those tracking sleep and now I find out they completely changed the algorithm for sleep scores with no warning that you can’t compare prior sleep data.
I am so frustrated that I have now decided to look for a new sleep tracker

Bring Back Fitbit App
Absolutely awful - Will be looking for a new smart watch after over a decade with Fitbit….
Bring back fitbit
Totally messed up my step counter view with no option to change it back. Convoluted. Had to disable push notifications all over again. A greedy company tries to make more money and now I hardly want to use my fitbit anymore.
App and product don’t work
If you were hoping to connect this app to a Versa 4, don’t bother. The watch wouldn’t stay connected and the app couldn’t update it or get it to work.
Terrible update. Miss the Fitbit app
The Fitbit app was so user friendly. This new “update” is cluttered and very hard to navigate. Please bring back the old interface.
Food log
I don’t care to see my sleep pattern!! I WANT TO SEE MY FOOD LOG!!! I WANT TO GO BACK AND SEE PREVIOUS DAYS OF MY FOOD LOGS!!
Google has ruined FitBit
I never write reviews for apps, but this is too annoying to ignore. FitBit used to be reasonably reliable. Sometimes it would miscalculate my sleep hours by underestimating one hour, but that was easy to fix. Google took over, made the app interface clunky and almost unusable and not intuitive. Even worse, it keeps massively underestimating my sleep. It says I am awake for several hours each night even when I am definitely asleep. Suddenly my sleep scores are in the gutter. I can’t correct it. The sensor is not reading correctly. Great job, greedy Google. It wasn’t enough to buy the app-you had to ruin it.
This App is such a poor replacement for the Fit App
The Fit app was very versatile, whereas the Google Health app is so limited. I can’t express how much I dislike the new app. I would highly recommend not switching over until you have no choice, at least then you’ll regret less. Google Health has eliminated the ability to set a deficit for your calories, you can no longer create custom foods. These were some of the most beneficial aspects of the Fit app.
What the heck
How do I freaking leave the public preview! I’m not able to do it at all in the app. I have followed the instructions a million times and there’s no way to leave the public preview.
Bring back Fitbit app
The new google app is way too complicated. The whole reason I got a Fitbit was to track my heart rate zones and steps. The new app does not show heart rate zone minutes or track towards my weekly goals like the Fitbit app did. Furthermore the ai chat sends me long unsolicited comments about my workouts. Please stop this
I used to love the Fitbit app. Very disappointed in the Google Health changes.
The sleep monitoring is inaccurate and tells me how terrible my sleep was every day. My cardio recommendation has more than tripled. I used to feel encouraged now I feel frustrated.
No oxygen level reading
Where is my oxygen level reading for the nightly cycle in the app??????
All gone in January
No data
hate the google integration
the new app update is not practical, hard to utilize and just plain ugly. feels less personal and is overall just soulless. plus it uses ai in some aspects. hate that. yet another company that sold out and lost their style. will no longer buy fitbit products. hate this ugly app. doesn’t show my bike route anymore.
This is not an improvement
The Fitbit app was way better. This new Google Health garbage doesn’t allow me to make adjustments to the nutrition facts of items that I regularly use. Google’s information is incorrect on several items.
Still not tracking correctly
The developers commented on my last post for things to do to fix my issues and it’s is still not tracking. Lots of missing information on each day. Constantly crashing. This app sucks. Bring back Fitbit.
A lot of bugs! Is this vibe coded!!?
Horrible experience. Ever since Fitbit app was replaced by Google health, I have been seeing bugs after bugs. It’s like the honestly like the app developers and product team don’t use the app themselves.
Many statistics are incorrect, I can count many but for instance: if I log a walk with mobile app instead of estimated mileage based on the steps from the watch, I have seen instances that I have logged 3.5 miles of walking with the mobile app. But the overall daily mileage is 3!!!! How overall is less than one loved exercise!! This app is not reliable and after about 10 years of using Fitbit, I’m considering alternative products next time I have to change my watch.

Why
You have ruined the whole Fitbit experience. The display is - I don’t not have words. It’s coming off my wrist. Back to Apple.
Start over google!
If you can’t do better please take us back to the previous Fitbit App.
I’ve been using Fitbit since the 1st devices simply for their App. This App is so miserable I’m forced to shop for a new device. So sad. With what they’ve done to one of the better all-in-one health tracking apps, I’d rather link together different apps for what I track than use this app the way they’ve organized it. The AI information that relates to food is outdated and unhealthy for certain people. Unfortunate. Nutrition profiles are cumbersome and not sorted well, and adding food if you like to track calories or macros is a joke. I have no idea how this could have been released to real people with a straight face.

What happened?
Really want to like the Fitbit air. Doing a side by side with the Apple watch. I purchased the FBA so that I can wear mechanical watches again. All the helpful stats are buried somewhere in the health page. The Today/Fitness/Sleep pages are absolutely worthless for real time stats. The exercise & activity logging is absolutely awful.
Fitbit was more reliable
Since Google took over things don’t download reliable from my Charge 6 to the app. Step count is lowered, 250 steps in hourly activity disappears. My sleep record changes, it will first show I only slept 3 hours and then later in the day update with my actual sleep time.
Update is a disaster
Since the update to Google Health a lot of things changed, and not for the good. The heart rate monitor now sucks. It seems EVERYTHING you do, besides exercise, is monitored as resting heart rate. My lowest heart rate is 47, yet it is considered “Poor” by the new app because I don’t sit around a lot. Plus, the navigation, and features, give contradictory information. Whoever made this decision has clearly never used Fitbit. After over a decade of using Fitbit, I am switching to Garmin. Paid for by my employer.
Lost all prior data
This update signed me out and doesn’t like my password now. It won’t find my Sense2 and won’t connect at all! Absolutely USELESS!
Terrible, app released too soon
This new app does not replace the original FITBIT app especially if you are tracking your food intake. The app will not let you enter food items for a previous day and will not list your items for the present day. The app requires extreme click click clicking . The sleep related graphs do not include a time/hour grid and are very course in information. In my opinion after using FITBIT for many years this APP was POORLY designed and hinges on the ridiculous that we need AI in order to analyze our own numbers.
App change.
This app was great till they changes the interface. Glitchy and doesn’t make inputting information easy. Once the app of fixed I’ll change my review.
sad
google update destroyed the Fitbit app. getting fat and lost all motivation to keep tracking food, water, or exercise. app is dysfunctional and most of it doesn’t work.
