Dogcr@p app can’t connect to a device. Better off to pull the card and use any other option other than this app. Insta 360 is way better

Wasted hours on edits
There used to be a great app for the computer but GoPro deleted the app for the computer. Now I have to use their awful phone app and it has so many issues I don’t know where to begin. I have lost countless hours of work due to the app not saving my “saved” edits. The app doesn’t save edited videos to my photos like it should, and instead erases all of my edits. I am not lying when I say I lost 5 hours of work in seconds due to trying to upload the edited content to my photo library. There is no way to get my “saved” edited videos back. I have to start over and find a new way to upload my content and save it to my own devices. At this point I don’t want a GoPro ever again. There are other better products with easier more streamlined editing apps these days. Save your self time and stress. Return your GoPro while you have a chance.

Rug-pull customer-hostile GARBAGE from GoPro. Guarantee that was my last GoPro hardware.

I dont like this app
Every time i want to send a video from the gopro to the ipad i have to delete this app, forget the device, go onto the go pro and reset connections, delete the bluetooth, the redownload the app, sign back in, and then let it load for twenty five thousand years just so i can get one video. Please fix this.
It works
Just - and the software is glitchy - it’s not the joy I anticipated but it does create pictures as directed for the most part
One star
Every time in use the app it asks me to rate the app and I don’t want to so now I’m writing a 1 star review because it annoys me and I’m hoping that by writing this I won’t get the prompt to review the app anymore. If I continue to get prompted to review the app, then I will continue to leave 1 star reviews.

Not sure what’s going on but I lost a whole days worth of footage because some of it failed to upload.. and I lost a lot more today.. I don’t know what to do or how to fix it.

All my photos are trapped and would take a year to get them off this app onto my phone.
I can’t delete
This app takes a good chunk on my phone storage. I have a computer, so I want to do all my GoPro work on there. I tried deleting it from my phone but can’t.

Overpriced
Man, I used to think the world of GoPro but after getting into filming the outdoors and what the competition is doing do not invest in GoPro. Camera quality isn’t near what even what a DGI offers with triple the steps and “download space” BS. If you want a subscription that feels pay to play by all means waste away!

I got the quick app and my image is loaded. As far as I know I downloaded them a week later they are gone. They are not on the quick app. I thought I paid 59.99 but I at my records and I paid 99.00. My advice is to not delete off your SIM card.
Hard to use on phone
Edited files can not be synched to an iPad or editor on Mac. Edited versions can be exported but not refined on a better device.
Privacy
this app forces you to allow access to your photo and media files. There’s no option to not include your personal information which is a privacy invasion. The app doesn’t function unless it has access to your photo library. I wouldn’t suggest using this app for photo editing since they offer no privacy. camera overheats button is unreliable software is awful .
Live streaming disabled
So I’m posting about this app and the hero 9 black I have had streaming available somehow they’ve broken it several links on the Internet show that it doesn’t work although if you pay for their monthly subscription chatting with Support says that that should work and that’s a bait and switch in my opinion not happy they’re supposed to fix it in an upcoming update, but they don’t know when I don’t feel too good about this

Not fully functional
After the update, it doesn’t save photos(nor videos) to phone anymore :/ I wish I can reverse to the older app.. that was also buggy but I had my workarounds.
$60 a year and auto upload consistently doesn’t work
It doesn’t matter what Wi-Fi network I am on, or if I am uploading from my phone or iPad….it just keeps freezing. The app has lots of potential but simply doesn’t work as advertised. Not worth the money!
Too many connection issues
Because I have my GoPro mounted on my head as well as in a shell/cover, I need to manage it with the app. However, I have so many difficulties connecting the app to the camera via Bluetooth, that I get frustrated and just say “forget it.” Which inevitably means the camera angle is way off and I find out when I get home.
Very hard to use
I do not understand how to export clips to my computer and it’s very confusing
