With the most recent update you can’t schedule events for a specific time. Very annoying as our games start at odd times like 8:40.

Login issues
Been trying to login to my account & it won’t let me because I don’t have my old number anymore. It’s so frustrating for me & my job. I tried using support & it kept me with a robot that just kept repeating itself. I just need to change my old number to my new number. Super annoying.

I used this app for years. Then got logged out one day. Getting back in was impossible so I deleted this POS app. Microsoft SUCKS!!!!!!!!

So first of all it took like an eternity to log in, and then the other day i tried to get into group me and then it FULL ON KICKED ME OUT! And then i tried to sign back in, and it said “something went wrong. Please try again” even though my password was right. I finally got it to work but none of my chats were there and there was a message from 2020, from “GroupMe support” saying that i was one of the 100 people that they had selected to win an “iPhone 11” like bro. Scammers.
Don’t even bother
This is one of the most difficult apps I have ever had the displeasure of signing into. It will not accept your phone number. I have no idea as to why it simply refuses to work properly. I haven’t even signed into it yet, and judging by how bad the user interface is for the sign-in page, I’m going to be in for a rough ride trying to communicate with literally anybody. No joke, I’ve been trying to sign in for a month now, but to no avail. And if you’re a part of an organization that uses this app to communicate (which is my situation), then may the lord have mercy on your soul. Way to go, GroupMe. You have successfully ruined my day, if not, my entire month.
half baked, unfinished
Frustrating. Calendar feature in particular is a mess. No way to undo. Can’t handle recurring events. Can’t make a calendar without spamming the group.
Even their own “submit diagnostic logs” email feature sends to a bounced email address. How completely half assed to not even set up their own support flow. This app is not serious.

No Option To Sign-in with Google
I wish I could be as incompetent at my job as app developers are. I don’t even want to use this app but the app website on mobile is mostly unusable due to the amount of pop-ups and banners demanding I use the app. Well fine. I download the app. I try to sign in. Wait, where’s the option to log in with Google? Hmm I could’ve sworn my GroupMe account is via my google account, but maybe not. Go back to the website. Try to log in. Oh, I was right, there’s the option to sign into with google. Go back to the app. Still no option… is this for real? I can’t even fathom any other profession on earth displaying the amount of sheer incompetence and laziness that software developers get away with.

APP SUCKS
Just because I’m underage by one year means that I can no longer be in a chat with my club witch means I can’t communicate with anyone and I can’t retry with the same phone number TERRIBLE
Bad app
All I’m going to say is that this app completely broke after the update for me, I can’t view chats, view pictures, leave chats, delete chat. And they have made no way so far to fix it for me.
Non Inclusive
It’s disappointing that I cannot change the skin tone of my reaction emojis. One would think that since most if not all the other SM allow this, GroupMe would as well but it appears that the app is behind the times.
Won't Let Me Log In
Terrible service, I tried to log in and it didn’t work. It kept saying “Something went wrong. Please try again” and then I tried to create a new account with a new email, and it just said “Something Went Wrong” Honestly, I would rate this app 0 stars but that’s not possible because I have to right a review. Terrible and would NOT recommend unless they fix this.
Needs fixing after working well for months
It no longer lets me login. It does not recognize my same

Create Account???
I have tried my IPhone, Web and android to create a account. All of them said the same thing:

Messages won’t load or send
I get a notification that a message was sent to me, but I can’t see it when I load the app, and I also can’t send messages. It really messes with our workflow, we will have to find a different app to use
Fix the fonts!!
App does not respect system default font settings. Text in chats is microscopic. I do not need increased font sizes anywhere in iOS but cannot read anything in message threads in this app. I had to increase font three sizes using per-app accessibility settings just to be able to read anything in chat threads, and even with that enabled font is STILL smaller than out-of-the-box system default font size settings for iMessage. If Microsoft can’t respect system default settings, the app should not pass App Store review.
I cannot send messages anymore
The app does not function normally, it doesn’t send messages anymore, what can be the issue?

Updated Cannot Sign in through Google
I used to be logged in using my Google Account and GroupMe logged me out. I cannot access any of my work groups.

Won’t let me in/ Kicked me out
It took me forever to get signed in. I went to my chat joined, left a message and it kicked me out. Now it’s asking if i want to create a new account! We tried several numbers and emails and still won’t let me in! So now I’m in a chat I cant even answer. Needs to be fixed!
Logged out and no support
I’ve used this app since 2012 and was logged out days ago. Can’t log back in. No password reset email is being sent. Can’t get any customer support on a line. I can’t make a new account because my phone number and email are linked to my old account. I use this app for work and can no longer get updates. This is ridiculous

Problems with log in
I have never had an issue with GroupMe before until the last few days. I keep getting logged out of my account. Which I had registered with an old phone number which is not valid anymore and an old email. Changed email and phone number now today I was logged out once again and now it’s telling me to add a country code. Still does not let me log in
Kicked me out with no support
No major issues with the app until this week. GroupMe logged me out, will not send me any information to log back in, and when I tried to get help online through support, I waited in line for two hours only for the agent to then kick me off of the conversation before they even tried to help me.
Forced notifications using your contacts
Constant notifications that one of your contacts is online GroupMe. Can’t shut these notifications off. A recent update pushed these notifications out.

Doesn’t work after awhile it kicks you off your account and doesn’t let you sign in and when you try to get help Microsoft never gets to you
Where did my account go?
This is the second or third time this month the app has signed me out. Now I try and sign in again and it says the account doesn’t exist

Complications driving me crazy!
Group me locked me out and I’m unable to get back in. I think it had to do with changing my email last year and I cannot access my old email. When I tried to create a new account I was no longer able to join in our family groups. Don’t know where to go from here.

The app has been well at first then it wouldn’t let me change my password because of age wouldn’t let me change my email because of no reason and wouldn’t let me sign out.

It don’t work
This is the worst app I’ve ever tried to get it doesn’t even work. It will tell me my phone number is invalid and it hates me. It does not work one star I would give it zero stars, but I can’t do that.
Scam
App will not delete account. This is a scam to capture data and sell to marketers. Anyone can log in and use.

I changed phones and now I can get group me. There is no possible way to contact them for help! Sad
Bad you have to be 13 to use
I was too young when I first created a GroupMe account and then when I was finally old enough to use it, it wouldn’t let me create an account so if I wanted a new account, I would have to get a whole new phone number

Causes Springboard Crash Loop in iOS 26
The notifications from group me are written in old iOS 9 code and are easily prone to cause Springboard to crash over and over again. Horrible. Can get you stranded with a dead phone really fast!
Missing features
This group chat needs timestamps for everything including reactions to messages. You need to add a action to certain messages, in example if they agree or disagree to a certain message.
Cannot search by a location
I cannot search and find a group outside of my location that I am supposed to be a part of. I live outside of the US. I am visiting back in the US, and STILL cannot access the “group”. Why is there not the ability to change location to search in? This is frustrating.
