Took my money after I cancelled subscription
Canceled their free trial subscription three days before it would’ve renewed and yet they still charged me $42.79 that I now had to go through the entire process of calling Apple to refund in my phone. It literally said subscription has been canceled and yet they still proceeded to charge my PayPal account. Extremely unprofessional would not ever use their app again. I’m extremely disappointed. They have now ruined my checking account for the next five days as I wait for this money to come back would not recommend absolutely would not recommend this is one of the most unprofessional things I’ve ever seen. You had someone who canceled and got confirmation. They canceled your subscription service and yet you continued to charge them. That is quite literally fraud.
DONT SIGN UP FOR SUBSCRIPTION
They say they will notify you before charging and they do NOT. They charged my 45$ for an app..
Weather not right
Weather not right. Automatic watering not working
Super basic for the price
Not sure why I paid so much for this.
Do not download. Better apps out there.
Wouldn’t use this app.
Just meh
If you just want to log pictures that about all the free version does. I was hoping for problem solving for sick plants
Rip off!!
Paid the exorbitant price of $39.99 for the subscription (the app won’t even let you see what it’s about without it) and the app won’t even open. Complete waste of money!
Money Hungry Buisness
If you’re going to make an app and make it completely unusable to the masses of middle class American’s by charging an arm and a leg for something you can write on a piece of paper makes your app even more useless. Not being able to open a single tab without your greedy messages made me delete the app immediately. The app also makes it difficult to delete my account. If you’re going to charge for things you should at least make sure your app functions. Paper is cheaper than this cookie cutter copy cat expensive app with no real purpose.
Free Trial Lies
Don't offer a 7 day free trial to new customers if you're still going to charge immediately after signing up for the free trail. It asked if I wanted to start a free trial, then after the 7 days it would charge me $39.99. When I selected the option it charged my card $19.99. Why? That is very misleading and I want my money back.
Not Happy
I got this app to help with my grow season. I found it un useable and canceled the subscription before the free trail and they still charged me. Deleted the app but still paid for the year
Terrible
I got the free trial and tried to cancel a day before but they ended up charging me a day early and will not refund my money! Terrible customer service and not worth the money!
On 1 garden bed type
It doesn’t give depth recommendations for raised beds or pots and doesn’t allow for round, broken up, or awkwardly shaped beds.
Not worth $40 a year
Not worth it to me
Nope
Can’t use it without paying.
Unacceptable
I do not write reviews unless I am amazed by an app. I will say I am amazed at the amount of frustration I have experienced with this app. I downloaded in hopes to use it and wasn’t impressed. So I cancelled my trial and deleted the app. Days later I am being charged for an app I do not even have. I have tried to find ways to get some type of help or support with the matter and am somehow weeks later still dealing with this mess. I am frustrated at the fact I’m still being charged $39.99 for an app I do not even have. I do not have even use nor benefit from. Make sure you take precautions and make a very quick decision before you get stuck dealing with a complete disaster like the one I am currently dealing with.
It can be better
Accidentally bought the year & the App doesn’t really have anything useful.. don’t waste your time or money.
Not as Advertised
You have to play 20 Questions before using the app at all. Absolutely useless.
Hidden by a payment wall
Honestly would be great if they could just help plan without extorting for money. Just a money grab app.
Pay to use
Let me set it all up just to charge a monthly fee.
2026
First year for me!
Not as advertised
Doesn’t give any real information
Unfortunately
Why pay wall it for a subscription cost, it’s only worth like 2$ period (your phone can do anything this app can do with the app). and why isn’t it just a wiki of plant knowledge it’s empty and lack luster for sure my region.
Poor Quality
This app pops up random reminders in the winter, (fertilize the cabbage in December?) absolutely does not give proper reminders during the growing season and is missing many common plants and vegetables. The reminders to water and fertilize are seemingly random and this app does NOT account tor local rain as advertised. This app does not work as advertised and it was a waste of money and time.
Refund
Doesn’t work properly and it’s very confusing. It
doesn’t save my garden layout as well
doesn’t save my garden layout as well
Useless
Doesn’t really tell you what’s wrong with a plant. Most of what I got was you’re over watering or under watering.
Wouldn’t recommend
Wouldn’t recommend
Useless
Didn’t have simple or common plants like cherry tomatoes or bell peppers. Recommended me to grow root vegetables when I specifically opted that I did not want that
Over Complicated
I took the time to enter in everything I was growing, which is a large variety of seeds and took me about an hour.
Then I found out that that really didn’t matter because I still had to drag and drop each one into a garden grid while searching the entire database of plants again, as I did the first time when I added them. I’m not sure why it won’t just take the seeds in your garden that you created and automatically add them to the plot.
On top of that, then you have to figure out where to put them on the plot and the only way to do this is to click on each one and search through the different information tabs to figure out what goes with what and what the best location/companion is.
I do believe ChatGPT could make you a spreadsheet and grid in no time that is substantially better than what this app is doing. Which is ironic because all of the responses to the reviews seem to be written by AI.
The app has a lot of potential, but it is not what I thought it would be. I am not even four hours into my trial and I’ve already canceled it. $40 a year is insanity for something that will not even transfer what you’ve already added and makes you do so much of the legwork on your own.
I was hopeful for something that would actually plan my garden and at $40 I was sure that was what I was getting. It wasn’t.

Cool concept but poor execution and rife with misinformation.
I’m an advanced gardener and was excited to try an alternative to planning via spreadsheet. Word to the wise: this app is loaded with misinformation. Examples: telling consumers it’s perfectly fine to start curcurbits indoors (it’s not. They’re extremely sensitive to root disturbance and will suffer). Claiming you can fit two radishes per square foot (lollll, the number is more like 16, with the exception of mantanghong radishes which are still 9). Not flagging companion planting red flags concerning tomatoes and brassicas. Saying a pumpkin took up one square foot of space (they need at least a 2x2, preferably 3x3 area). The whole app is designed for the beginner gardener who wants convenience over proven scientific research. If you’re just trying to grow a thing and don’t care much about quality results, this app is for you. If you’re serious about gardening, look elsewhere.
Unless you expect to pay its basically useless.
As the title says. Unless you expect to pay, it is useless and you can’t do much. And what you can do can easily be found on the internet with a quick search. We don’t believe in monthly subscriptions and think they’re a scam. We refuse to use them. So sadly this app is of no use to us. Just a heads up to those who don’t like subscriptions either.
Doesn’t have many plants
I started to enter the varieties of plants and herbs I planted and the database didn’t have ANY of them. Thankfully I just did the trial because I would have been livid if I paid for this. Finding a better app. This is not it for me.
$40 a year is crazy
I bought the premium last year and it isn’t worth $40. I would pay $40 once to have full access, but $40 recurring annually is insane. Subscription culture is out of hand. The app isn’t even all that productive, it isn’t accurate with growth rates or harvest times, I don’t feel as though the information provided is even accurate to my hardiness zone compared to almanac and written gardening resources despite the app claiming to tailor to your zone. Not worth $40 a year, at all.
Does everyone plant the same most basic vegetables and flowers?
There’s no way that I can find to search plants and add directly to your garden. It’ll give me suggested plants, but I want to grow tomatillos and that’s not one of the options the suggest for me so I just can’t add it?? This app has some great information, but it does NOT function well.
Struggle adding plants
I grow a lot of plants not on the main list when using the Garden Planner function and cannot seem to see the custom plants I add from the main screen. It’s disappointing because I cannot fully plan my garden bed
Half built app
Great idea, poor execution. There is a lot of false information. You can’t find a lot of plants. You can only plan your garden with a handful of options. Example there isn’t an option for marigolds or nasturtium in the planning section, but there are different types of sunflowers. It’s just very mid. Hope it gets better. Wouldn’t spend the money again to try it out.
Not so good
I’m frustrated that the only end you show is harvest. Plants that do badly and die are the most important to record and learn from. I’m also doubting your watering cycles. You have me watering my aloe every day or so. Obviously I am ignoring that. In short. No. I’m deleting you.
Grow it!
All this time I thought it was free. When I went to use it I find it costs $40.00. I was so disappointed. I love gardening and growing things. I was totally crestfallen!!!
Planning times
Wrong advice on planning times for San Antonio!
Lots of good info, but some bad ones for my area.
