I’m giving this app 1 star because it stopped working for me. My microphone works fine on other apps, but this one doesn’t pick up any sound from my guitar at all. It just sits there and doesn’t respond, which makes it useless for tuning.
I tried everything - checking permissions, resetting the app, even deleting and reinstalling it - and nothing fixed the problem. It’s really frustrating because it used to work, and now it doesn’t.
Please fix this bug, because right now the app is not reliable.

App changed now garbage.
I’ve been using this app for many many years for free for tuning and I’ve always had it.. They recently made an update where it is no longer free if I could give it a 0/5 I would. You can’t just make a free app and then randomly turn it into $40 a year. I’ll never use this app again, there are other fully free guitar apps out there. Good job ruining a perfectly good app.
Not working
The app is not picking up sound. I’ve reined out to the support and nothing has changed. It seems I’m not the only one as well. I can’t believe I’m paying $40 for a broken app this is ridiculous.

Boooooo
It’s a fine app and does what it needs to, but when you sign up for the free trial to actually get an idea of what you’re spending $140 for, it specifically tells you that it will notify you before it charges you/the trial expires. It does not in fact do that, and I only found out when my card declined a suspicious purchase and sent me 3 different notifications.
Good for tuning. That’s it
Tuned my ukulele after subscribing (problem 1- used to be free). Then looked to learn a song on it as well but all the songs, even House of Gold, would only come up as guitar chords (problem 2) with no way to change it to ukulele as I had previously selected. Just make the tuning free and then have people pay for the bad lessons after if they want it.
Tuner does not work anymore
I have used this app for years never had a problem. But I have tried for the past 3 days to use it and it wont even pick up sounds, fix it no one is going to get your subscription so stop pushing them and fix your damn tuner
App broken randomly
I’ve used this app for close to a decade. Now, all of a sudden, it simply does not work. It does not output any sound, it does not detect my mic despite having access to it. Other apps are using the mic just fine. I cannot tune in Auto or Manual mode. This is an annoying bug that I’d love to see get patched ASAP.

do not use this to tune your guitar
this broke my guitar string. kept saying to tune it up and saying it was at -21 and it make me tune it up so much to the point to where it snapped. whatever you do, do not tune your guitar with this. this app is absolutely trash.

Devs please. This afternoon my child was using this app to practice violin. There is a blinking light associated with the metronome that caused her to have a seizure. Everything is okay now but people with photosensitivity and epilepsy need to be aware they may be exposed to triggering light. Thank you!
This app broke my string
I came back from school very ready to play my new 12-string guitar and I needed to tune it. I downloaded this app expecting it to help me but it kept telling me to tighten up this one string until it broke.
Sucks.
This app is a SCAM. Every time I need the chords to a song it gives me a friggin ad. I’m here to learn guitar, not be smothered by ads. ALSO most of the song chords are WRONG. I’m an expert guitar player and I know from heart this app is wrong. The only thing good about this app is the tuner. In conclusion DO NOT BUY THIS APP.

This app kinda worked for a little bit but now, every time I try to go to a song it gives me an ad for the same app and then when I try to click the x to ex it out of the ad it does nothing. No matter how many times I click that button it never exits out. I have tried to swipe out of the app and go back in but the same problem occurs. I cannot use this app because it will not work.

I downloaded this app since I had just gotten a new guitar and I was tuning it, this app made me keep tightening my string until it just popped right off.
