Bad.
Player coming from Witcher 3, and the online gwent app, played other card games as well. To be fair the enemies are creative and pretty different. The problem is no way to modify your starting deck, so you replay over and over with a trash deck that you upgrade by winning. The boss are extremely unbalanced, you need to get god rolls to even have a slight chance of winning, oh and your reward? Start all over again with the same trash starting deck. Not worth.

Designed for you to fail
I wish I would have known that the game is designed for you to fail. You can’t win at this game which makes it unpleasant to play. I would not buy this had I’d known you can’t win. It’s not fun losing. I wouldn’t buy this game.
Can’t complete tutorial
Any complete tutorial. Says double tap card but it’s frozen and doesn’t do anything. What’s going on with this game anyways? I have played twenty before. This seems different. I don’t understand what is going on.
Game is trash
It would be alright if the game didn’t crash all the time and when it does crash if you’re in a match it starts over with some games taking like a half an hour, pretty disheartening when you lose that time multiple times.
Unable to sync progress on iOS
I can not log into my GOG account on iOS platform. Therefore my progress can not sync, and I can’t see the leaderboard.
Ruined Gwent
One of the best parts of gwent was having the three rounds, and strategically losing a round to make sure you could win another. If you like the original gwent, skip this. This became like every other card game that exists.
Crashing during boss
Game has crashed multiple times on the last boss fight. No point in playing until they fix crashes that occur especially after getting to the finale and a chance of it giving you an error code or server issue.
Fun but really buggy
I was having a great time playing the game until a server error caused me to lose against the first boss, 3 turns away from victory. Really hard to get into a game when you can’t trust it not to crash in crucial moments.
cash grab with no substance
best out of 1 round… is this even gwent? takes forever to beat a fight because everyone has to play out their entire hand one at a time and watch all the slow animations. just play gwent online and save yourself the frustration. refunded asap. also see steam reviews for more
Don’t waste your money
What an utter disappointment. Think Cyber Punk as opposed to Witcher 3. Swing and miss.
How do you ask for a refund?
Such a downgrade from ThroneBreaker, i lost hope at the title and splash screen.

Rogue mage attempts to make Gwent a single player experience and it’s just not that fun. Many complaints and some good things too so I’ll start with the good and then the bad.
Good
1. The game can be played offline making it a good time when internet can’t be reached
2. Gwent is a great game and you should try it if you haven’t
3. The game is challenging, so if you’re into that, you’ll enjoy the challenge.
Bad
1. They’ve changed all the cards in this game. They’ve changed some of the mechanics too… why..? No great reason. But it makes the game confusing for Gwent players.
2. The graphics aren’t great, the writing is meh and there’s no great story to follow.
3. My biggest complaint is that this game costs 10 dollars… it’s a cash in. If it was free with some dlc… okay fine. But 10 bucks for this game is somehow a rip off. And 10 bucks isn’t much. If you want to play Gwent, go buy it for free and play Gwent and buy all the dlc you want. This game is boring and tedious and isn’t worth 10 bucks. Isn’t worth 5 honestly.
4. To me there’s nothing more frustrating than building up a cool deck, having everything right, beating a level and then having to start all over with a new deck. Why not let us keep our decks? Every “run” is the same, so many of the enemies are repeated.
This game could have been great but it’s just not. For 10 bucks you’d have more fun with a wishing well.

Even when I do win the battle; I get a message saying “unexpected error” and it will read “defeat” (even going so far as to highlight the opponents total score, despite mine being higher). When will this bug get fixed?

The fun puzzle/rouge elements are great but the crashing to the Home Screen ruins the experience.
Game keeps randomly crashing. I tried all the trouble shooting with no avail. My 5th gen iPad feels really hot when running it so maybe it’s just a resource hog? I been playing vanilla Gwent on it for years without issue so hopefully they will sort it out.

Nice game but currently has game breaking bugs
Dear CD project red.
I like your games m, including this one. However it’s crashes every 10 minutes. It also has gameplay bugs where the numbers are not being updated between turns or when the cards numbers are not being updated when upgrading. I hoped the cyberpunk fiasco would motivate you to not release broken games, but unfortunately it is not the case here.
