Misleading

Locking info behind paywall 🤡
Nobody’s paying when research is free 🤣
Tiny databases
Paid $30+ for this app that stop updating its database. I’ve scanned over 20 water bottles and none of them are recognized. Then it asks to add the brand to the database. The camera won’t work and the bar scan is useless. Worst app I’ve ever bought. It deserves negative Star.
Subscription Service
App has a paywall requiring you to pay a subscription for any meaningful data.
Paywall scam
Scam
Ripped me off
Tried to sign up for a free trial and got scammed for $19.99.
Stay Away
Not many waters are ranked in the app. Low quality app.
Bull
We shouldn't have to pay for this information. Make it freely available as the human right it is, and I'll consider coming back.
Public data for $
App is completely useless without paying for subscription.
Feels Like A Cash Grab
You're required to pay just to scan water bottles, which is already frustrating-especially when the product selection is limited. I attempted to scan Mountain Valley Water, and it didn't show up at all.
On top of that, the app pushes a subscription fee of $14.99 per year or $24.99 for a lifetime subscription.
This pricing doesn't make much sense when the same information can be easily found through a simple online search or by using tools like ChatGPT. Overall, it feels less like a helpful resource and more like an unnecessary cash grab.

App steals money from you
The lifetime subscription is 29.99. I selected this option and was charged 44.46. Fraudulent scam
Not a free app
I will not pay for information that can be found with little research.
Not Enough Information
App lacks information about many brands of water I tried to search. If it didn’t have any testing or research on it, it just gave it a low rating. They had advertising that you’ll see the data behind the rating but not at all true once using the app - overall pretty useless. Icelandic had the highest rating, but again only take that with a grain of salt considering it didn’t include many waters I searched for.
Garbage app
Everything is hidden behind a paywall pathetic
PAY PAY PAY
Great app idea, unfortunately everything is locked and you have to pay to be able to use any of the feature. It’s not worth the 20$
Pay for public info
The idea behind this app is solid - people should care about what’s in their water. Unfortunately, the execution doesn’t justify a $20/month subscription.
Most of the information presented appears to be aggregated from public sources (municipal water reports, brand disclosures, and general contaminant data), yet the app does not clearly disclose its exact data providers, lab sources, or scoring methodology. For a product asking premium pricing, that lack of transparency is a major red flag.
If I’m paying this much, I expect clear citations, named labs, testing dates, and the ability to verify claims. Instead, users are asked to trust a proprietary “score” without seeing the underlying sources.
This app may be useful for people who want a quick, simplified overview and don’t mind paying for convenience, but informed users can find the same core information for free directly from municipal Consumer Confidence Reports, the EPA, or bottled water brand disclosures.
Until the developers clearly publish their data sources, lab partners, and scoring criteria, the price feels hard to justify.

Ai generated
This app was thrown together by Ai trying to mislead people into buying water and water related products by companies that are seemingly promoted on the app. Completely unrealistic rankings, do not use this app for their info given is not accurate. They don’t provide much info but still rank waters. Lab results will be based off 2 tests which is actually the bare minimum and they rank waters over others with no tests done.
Missing certain brands
Couldn’t find Pure life!
Useless
Completely useless app. As soon as you download it, it starts asking you to pay for everything. Every single feature is locked. It pretends to be free but it is basically a fully paid app. You can’t see anything useful without paying. I honestly don’t understand how it has such a high rating. There are better and more honest alternatives. I would not recommend this one at all.
Waste
Terrible and now I can’t get out of my free trial !!! Cancel please !
Money hungry app
Everything is behind a pay wall. The app is not useable if you want to try it for free.
Subscription based app
Everything is behind a pay wall. Doesn’t seem like they really care about water, just profits. They should’ve taken a page out of Yuka’s book.
Trash app
Useless app
Scam
This app is the worst app on the platform. Literally can’t do or see anything useful without paying, whole app locked behind a paywall and a button that says “Continue for Free” that conspicuously doesn’t work. I’d rather rake my nuts over hot coals for 9.99$ a month than pay these clowns.
Can’t use app without paying
You can download the app for free however once you get into the app, if you wanna actually be able to use it, you have to pay. $20 a month after a three day free trial. I wish these types just charged for the app.
Not free
As always, they want money to see or do anything. Complete waist of time to download it.
In App Purchase
3 day trial, but it won’t let you try it before committing to a subscription. No thank you…
Not Free. Useless.
Definitely not free. You have to pay to see basic info that you can just google yourself. I’m not sure where the 4.7 rating is coming from, if there’s only 3 reviews, and they’re all 1 star.
Biased tests, junk ratings
I thought it’d be nice to check how good my under-sink water filter is. To my surprise, it scored lower than other, more popular units. I dug into the tests and realized they don’t run the same tests for all units. Surprisingly, the higher-rated units weren’t subjected to the same tests as mine, which caused my unit to receive a lower score.
Basically, this app is driven by marketing, and it’s very easy to manipulate the results by cherry-picking which tests to include. Avoid this app.

Stupid
Gotta pay for a subscription like I’m going to need this every day scanning different water bottles😂
you need to pay
pay to scan? its not free at all
It’s a scam
Steer away. It’s a scam site
Terrible
Everything is behind a paywall. Shouldn’t be listed as a “free” app.
Useless app
This app cost money !! it says is free but most thing that is on the app cost money, I don’t think any one would use an app that cost money for just seeing a rating on water, plus you can see the most rating online for free, this app is useless and waste of time don’t get it.
Not free
It’s not free. You have to pay 🙄
Unfinished app cool idea needs more work
Cool idea for an app but a lot of waters analysis isn’t complete . Everything that is in plastic says microplastics high. Also the numbers for their guidelines doesn’t cite the sources it should be a footnote for each . Lazy programming for the app. If you charge money for the app you definitely should follow up on each bar code and have an analysis inputted that’s what the subscription should be for right and not a cash grab for the developers 😄
Not there yet
Good potential but needs more work … missing so many water brands
