I signed up for the 7-day free trial because it’s required in order to see what the app is like. I immediately knew I didn’t want to keep it so I tried to cancel my subscription. However, it’s somehow not associated with my Apple account so I have no way to cancel it.
My settings in the app showed I was on a “free” plan and I don’t have access to any of the features, so thought maybe the subscription didn’t go through after all, and I deleted the app. Turns out, I’ve been charged monthly all along.
Update - I reached out to the support email a week ago, and also reached out to the email I was specifically told to reach out to, but I haven’t gotten a response. Not even an acknowledgment that my email was received. I’ve now been charged three times for an app I’m not using/features I don’t have access to.
Update2 - I’ve now been charged for the 4th month in a row ($52) for an app I’m not using and don’t even have the features I’m paying for. Someone finally responded to me but it takes about a week and a half for them to reply, and only after I’ve followed up at least once. They tried to offer me a free year subscription (I’m still being charged every month so it wouldn’t actually be free….) instead of stopping the monthly charge. They do not seem to care about customers, which further leads me to believe the app is a scam. They’re saying it’s Apple’s fault I’m being charged, but Apple has no record of me ever paying a cent for this app, AND Apple is not who is charging me every month like it does with other subscriptions. This company is charging me directly. I’ve filed a dispute and fraud claim with my bank.
Update3 - My bank forced them to refund the charges, which is great. They told me they also cancelled my subscription, and they asked me to update my review. I was truly considering it, but I wanted to wait to make sure the reoccurring charges actually stopped. I’m glad I waited because I was charged AGAIN this month. I truly do not understand how a company that is based off subscriptions can’t figure out how to cancel a subscription... I’ve filed another dispute with my bank. The nightmare continues.

No Escape from the Subscription
They are so called better than Flo. I’ve been using flo for so many years and decided I could probably give Harmony app a try. First off the bat. They want to put you in a subscription to try for free 7 days. I don’t want to and have no option to skip it. Not sure what else is so special besides them literally forcing you to subscribe to their subscription. 0 stars

I had canceled my subscription through Apple in January and am still being billed weekly by Harmony via my credit card. I have tried repeatedly to contact the company and to block the charges and I cannot get it to stop! Absolute scam, do not sign up.

I never knew how to use it. It’s not easy and it’s expensive. There are better apps. I used the free trail subscription to see if I liked and forgot to cancel. They didn’t send me a reminder that it was expiring and I ended up paying the full price for an app that was completely useless to me. My subscription expires in August but I don’t care. I’ve deleted the account and the app.

It’s a scam
It wants you to take a quiz give it information and then it’ll tell you you have to pay for the app and correction on my last rating. It’s 4999 for the year but they’re not gonna charge you at this moment so basically that with your card information so they can’t attempt to charge you whatever they feel like.

paywall makes this app unusable. they do the same thing as every other app out there where they ask you a bunch of questions, show you a bunch of stats, make a “personal plan” for you then ask you to pay a monthly fee. they don’t even let you into the app without your credit card information, total scam. a genuinely good app wouldn’t need to hide behind a paywall.

If you want to hear the same basic things about your period then definitely waste your time and money. App basically asks you to tell it what symptoms you’re feeling and then will come up with some general answer to respond with.

Frustrating and Unfair - App Crashes and No Refund
I’ve emailed Harmony 4 times and even provided videos showing the app crashing every time I try to cancel my subscription. Despite this, both Harmony and Apple have rejected my refund request.
I attempted to cancel before the renewal date, but the app consistently crashes the moment I hit “cancel subscription.” This isn’t user error - it’s a technical failure on their end. Yet, I was still charged and denied a refund.
It feels extremely unfair to be billed for a service I actively tried to cancel but was prevented from doing so because the app doesn’t function properly. Very disappointing customer service and lack of accountability both Apple and Harmony.

Made me review before using the app
Scam!!!!
Honestly it was really appealing at first and they had some good recipes. But then I started noticing that all the recipes were vegetarian. A lot of them require obscure ingredients you’ll probably never use again. And after one full cycle I realized the recipes weren’t changing. It was the same ones suggested every time. Why I paid $50 for this I don’t know. I can screenshot the recipes and never need to use the app again. Cancelled my subscription renewal. But I still paid the $50 for a year.
Unusable
Once I almost get threw the demo it asks for me to do the 7 day free trial, there is not an option to say no to doing it and continuing into the app. It basically forces you to do the 7 day trial unlike all the other period apps I’ve looked at where you can say no and still use the app. I can’t even use the app to see if I like it or not because it won’t let you past that page.
“Rate The App”
I couldn’t even set up my profile. It would get to a screen that wanted me to rate the app before continuing. I haven’t even used the app yet, how am I supposed to give it a rating? So I deleted the app.

I really like the app. It has potential and it’s definitely helpful but it needs to be updated or fixed. It’s very very glitchy and hard to use. It worked perfectly fine during my free trial but since I got the membership it stopped working.

The ads I have seen on social media say this is a free app when it is in fact not. I am irritated that I wasted my time and honestly disappointed because this looked like a good app. But no, just more money grabbers because god forbid i understand my body for free

Its been a few hours since i downloaded the app and subscribed to the trial, whenever i want to log in my period for today the screen goes white and nothing happens
Does this app actually work for people?
I downloaded this app and started the 7 day free trial of I pay for a years subscription. The app never opened after that. It was the logo just spinning again and again and again. I turned my phone off then back on…went to the app and the same thing happened. Came to the App Store, deleted the app, redownloaded…same thing. It was truly the most annoying 5 minutes of my life. Canceled the free trial and subscription IMMEDIATELY!
Needs improvement
I can see this app being really great but its buggy. When selecting when you start your cycle, you have to click the day before your start day in order to select your true start date. Also, I wish that the app could sync up with health app because that’s where I have my previous data, it would be nice to have legacy data to help the app be more accurate. In conjunction with that, it would also be nice to have some sort of tracking for hormones, like if I wanted to measure my hormone levels throughout my cycle and I could input the data into the app and the app would then notate specifically where I am in my cycle instead of just using statistical averages.
Update- had the app for a while now and had to go from 4 to 2 stars because it wont let me update the days I had my period!!??? So buggy honestly not worth the money I paid for in the subscription.

won’t let you select period dates
used to love it but it won’t let me select the accurate dates for my period in the calendar. you have to tap the day before to get the present day and still will say “select continuous dates”. hate that
