The game crashes and the amount of bugs in this app are OUT OF CONTROL and NOTHING is being done to fix it like AT ALL!! Support ignore me when I tried to tell them anything and now look…it’s gotten EVEN WORSE. All I mostly have to do now in the beginning of year 7 is the main storyline and classes and I can’t do either cause IT CRASHES AND IT WONT LET ME IT NEVER DID! This is the ONLY APP on my phone with this problem!!! STOP ADDING NEW THINGS AND FIX THIS GAME PLEASE!!! There.is.something.wrong.with.this.app.and.no.one.has.been.listening.to.me.for.over.a.month.now…. I’M SO SICK OF THE CRASHING AND FREEZING AND REDOING EVERYTHING!!! It’s SO bas!!! Okay, so this my favorite game ever! I am the biggest Harry Potter fan girl ever, so with this game I get to live my dream come true (close to it, because it’s a game, not rl)! I love that you can take classes, duel, study with friends, customize you fit and dorm, have pets, and hang out with friends! I also enjoy that you go on special adventures and get cool prizes like clothing, dorm stuff, and new friends! I do wish it was easier to get gems and energy. The one bug I get (a lot) is my game will crash (a lot) especially when the carnival is active, so I would love it if you could try to fix that, TY! So over all, this is an awesome, and amazing game and experience for Potter Heads like me! The graphics are Amazing, and it sometimes truly feels like you are actually at Hogwarts! Thank you developers for creating this amazing game experience, you have helped to “digitally” (sort of) make my biggest dream come true! Thank you again, and pls try to fix my crashing bug! Pls, I beg you! I cant play it rn because it keeps crashing!😭

It used to be better
This game was good at one time. I can hardly play it anymore because of the constant pop ups. It’s overwhelming and it’s too much.

Be aware this game promotes kissing, dating, touching, etc if you’re letting a child play
Really disturbing how this game markets to children but has the characters date each other, kiss, become an item, touch each other. It’s not a game I would let my child play unsupervised. Was going to upload the screenshots but there’s not a place on here for that

Don’t bother to do most SQ as the rewards are miserable for amount of energy spent. Just did the Knight Out SQ and each star was 22-30 points! The end reward was a coin tappie. HORRIBLE!
Usually enjoy this game. But today I got a 3 inkwell pack as a reward for finishing a class. It was the exact 5 crystal inkwell needed to finish a picture. Interestingly I had also received a 4 crystal inkwell for finishing the previous class… meaning my picture would be complete after several weeks of waiting. Lucky?! hit collect inkwells and crystals supposedly went to my rewards. I exited to the hallway and saw MC. And they crystals didnt go to the picture event NOR the crystal count and event did not advance. I think the game autocorrected to keep me from getting the prize. I logged out and back in and which usually corrects glitches. And nothing. Boo! Hiss! And shame on this app for hiding legit won rewards to keep players from advancing too fast. RIGGED!
Aaaand not one hour later I bought extra choc frogs and ended up with bonus frogs that triggered two energy boosts putting me up to full energy. I exited to the dungeon hallway and saw MC and it crashed. Opened again and surprise surprise I was back in the previous dueling room and all choc frog bonuses GONE! RIGGED!!!

Game still suffers from day 1 issues
Although the story and setting recreation of the game are rather good, the game still has some serious flaws that persist since day one. The UI is laggy and messy, interface is unresponsive, the skips in fps between cutscenes and the game itself, random crashes due to poor memory management, long download sequences, awfully slow ingame notification pop-ups and a lot of bugs here and there( take the potions event for example, if you double tap on the gem, the gem count will reduce, but the tile won’t open). The game is on the market for like 5 or 6 years I guess and it’s really embarassing that nothing has been done from the perspective of game optimization and making ui more responsive. Guess the publisher is busier with trying to find more ways to squish money out of you, that’s the only venue they have been successful with. The donats level are crazy in this game.

Annoyances
My review is going to be mostly negative, apologies. I barely play this game. It’s too irritating, the system of the orb things (I cannot remember what they are called) is frustrating. The quality of the game is just horrid. I cannot believe this is made by the same company that made Hogwarts Legacy.
The energy points ruin it
The game is amazing, the story amazing, the characters once again amazing. But tell me why I have to wait for energy points for almost every single thing, now I wouldn’t mind this if there was something else to do in the game but you need energy points for everything and the game in the courtyard you can’t even do all the time. Now if you want to pay money for them that’s fine but this is also rated for kids and as a kid I don’t have money and a lot of adults don’t wanna pay for something you can easily waste in one day.
Bad advertising
The infinite energy bundle only said 10 m which would mean either 10 million or ten minutes which I was tricked by I thought it was for 10 million energy but it was only 10 minutes

Not a single task cost only 1 energy, yet you are making me wait 4 minutes to get 1.

Being Held Hostage
I played this game when it first came out and really enjoyed it. Recently, I started the game over and was really enjoying the way the game has grown and all the improvements they’ve made. However, when you start as a new player, you become bombarded by all the special events that players from the beginning have received over the span of 8 years. Once you hit year 2 especially, it becomes one event after the next in rapid succession, and these events have time limits for completion. I can see in the menu there are over 60 special events available in year 2 and am thoroughly horrified by the idea of having to play through all of these events in rapid succession. When I started to play again, I was hoping to try for a perfect playthrough, knowing once these events are over you can never go back to them. However, I feel like I am being held hostage by the events because they keep occurring one after the other and require dedication to be completed within the time limits. I cannot look at my phone all hours of the day for weeks at a time, and am barely getting breaks to focus on the main plot. There needs to be an option that when a special event is triggered (excluding seasonal/holiday related events) you can choose to begin the timer immediately, or return the menu at a later time to begin one of your available events. I understand this may not have been necessary for players as events were being released, but for anyone who downloads the game now, it is excruciating.
Constant app crashing
I actually enjoy playing this game and love the updates that have been made since it was first created HOWEVER the constant app crashes have made it borderline impossible to play. It has taken literally hours to finish 1 task, because not only does it constantly crash but with each crash it doesn’t save your place in the game and you’re constantly having to redo things. The Great Hall especially is a nightmare.The game is only going to become more popular with the show coming out and it’s disappointing that I’m seeing reviews from literally weeks ago with the same complaints. I’d like to keep playing but idk if it’s even worth it anymore if this is how it’s going to continue.

Fun game but…
Been playing it for awhile. It’s fun. But too many timed tasks take away from the story gameplay, so it’s hard to move through the story line and complete the tasks and most of the time challenges require tons and tons of energy, that I just won’t buy. Game wants you to spend way too much money to advance, and I’m definitely losing interest. Huge money grab.
Why I don’t like this
I love HP but I can’t get past chapter 2 so the story is amazing but no I really don’t recommend it
