BEWARE OF SCAM

Also, there is literally no way to cancel your subscription unless you email their shady customer service. It says you can cancel on their website, but there is no way to do so.
Review
Be cautious - they do goofy stuff with their billing when utilizing their free trial. One of “those apps” that doesn’t make it easy to cancel after trial, hoping you forget about the $90 charge. You know these types of apps. A bit surprised given the number of reviews and ad prevalence on the gram’ that they feel the need to utilize this type tactic for their business.
Never signed up, but charged me $89.99 from their website. Customer service hasn’t helped.

The new amount of growth plans is too high
Recently there has been quite a high jump in growth plans. There were around 100 growth plans and now there are seems like thousand of them, they are repetitive and frankly don’t achieve the goal of making it more diverse, but instead it makes it too overwhelming (what is the difference between strengthen your joy plan and discover your joy, really? ). I really don’t like, it just feels too much.
Onboarding upsells
Onboarding upsells and very hard to cancel, the product is full of AI tools that add no value.
Not for me
They try to upsell you with a bunch of stuff after signing up and don’t make it clear that it’s an extra charge and when you write to customer service they don’t refund you for something you weren’t even aware you were purchasing. They also get you into the funnel with a quiz with certain topics and book references but once you download the app those recommendations disappear and you need to start from scratch. Wasn’t super happy with the experience to be honest.
Shady
All I wanted was my results from an online quiz I took. They ended up having me unknowingly purchase $40 worth of subscriptions. In addition, you can’t change your email in the account without contacting customer support. Very frustrating.

After I purchased a one month trial of Headway, I was asked a series of questions- basically if I thought certain titles would be interesting. Bc I hadn’t used Headway in years, when they asked if I wanted to add them, I clicked yes thinking whatever they sound good- assuming that it was apart of it. Like I said I wasn’t familiar with the App nor are most people who would be in this scenario. Then I got an alert I had been charged an additional $20 extra dollars. I was confused bc I thought I had purchased only the one month subscription. So I reached out to “customer service” and they “kindly informed” me that they can’t charge me for anything o didn’t agree to purchase and closed the case. So I attempted again to get in touch with customer service to request a refund bc it was a misunderstanding & I wasn’t going to use the service. When I submitted it, I got a message saying it wasn’t submitted that I have to verify my email address. So I check my email- nothing and honestly I don’t think I’m going to get an email. They don’t have a phone number or a real point of contact and it’s probably because they make a lot of money on confusing people with add-ons and they can get away with it. I hope the $20 they made off of me is worth it bc I am gladly going to spread the word about their lack of integrity and customer support.

Enjoy paying $20/ month for the rest of your life. They will not stop charging you no matter how many times you try to cancel. It’s scammy and unethical

Tried to overcharge me
The book summaries are fine. They are AI generated and read. However, customer service was bad. I was supposed to get a year for $14.99 (the offer you get when you go to cancel), but the subscription page showed $49.99 for it. I was assured multiple times by customer service I would be charged $14.99, and of course, they tried to bill me $49.99. Luckily I choose a gift card with less than $49 on it as my payment method, because other companies say this too, then make it a hassle to get your money back. No thanks.

I signed up for a free trial only days ago, was enjoying the app until I saw my card was charged twice by headway. A $20 charge and $15 charge, which isn’t showing up in my Apple subscriptions or payment history. I’d like this resolved.
Can’t cancel
This app is good but you cannot cancel the charges generated from the “membership”. I canceled it months ago and they still charge my credit card. There is no phone number for support so now my bank has to block the charges generated!

This app makes no sense
There is no structure or guidance on how to use this app. I joined it in order to grow my faith and it gives me recommendations of things to read or listen to that have nothing to do with faith. I have tried to contact them several times. Gotten no response just that they have busier than higher volumes and don't submit another ticket. I highly do not recommend this app. Don't waste your money.
Liars
I was googling what to do with my life to see if I had options beyond killing myself. This app claimed to have a quiz that could help me with a career plan. I took the quiz, paid $1.99 for the results, was told the results would be on the app, and no results have ever been made available. I realized I signed up for a subscription so tried to cancel online. The website kept signing me out whenever I tried to manage the subscription to cancel it. Edit: I was able to cancel over email.
Billing fraud
Headway charged me 19.98 a month for 4 months in a row. They made cancellation of the service complicated and on 2 occasions I thought the cancellation of service was complete. The 19.98 a month continued until today. Apple Card froze Headway from charging me. This app is a fraud and scam.
