Bad navigation and bad sensitivity
I used this app for over a month to give it a good chance and I cannot in good faith recommend this app. It consistently thinks you are getting off exits when you are not, even when in the far left lane from the exit. Not only does the sensitivity consistently cause the app to reroute you, the routes chosen are poorly done. The traffic is over 90% of the time incorrect, rerouting you to areas with high traffic and away from areas with none. Deleting today.
Map downloads do not work
Can't download map, just gives an error message saying "download stopped try again". I tapped the retry download option and it still didn't work. Same message every time.
Outdated, can’t uninstall
The app is outdated & the locations are incorrect & i can’t uninstall the app i restart my phone and still can’t uninstall it ?????

Not a good start
I downloaded this app on the 16th and used it on the 17th of January so today. We live in rural NM and I was going from El Rito to Toes for a Drs appointment which is normally a 1 hour and 11 minute drive but this app wanted to take me the same direction ish but 17 minutes further north to TP for a 1 hour and 28 minute Dr so needless to say a bad start. then on the way home once I got on the road I needed to be on I switched to this app and the voice is circa 2008 which was annoying I mean as far as computerized voices go in my life I rate them as Chat GPT a 10 and this app a 0 but on the way home the app crashes and I had to switch to apple maps. I have an Iphone 17 pro max and I was using CarPlay in a 2022 Ford F150 Powerboost hybrid. I found this app from my Motor Trend e-mail and it sounded promising but this was not a good START. Right now I can not recommend.
What happened?
Not sure what’s going on but the app crashes constantly now. It’s unusable. I hate Google and never want to use another one of their apps, but Here We Go is no longer a suitable replacement. I have used this app for about a year and loved it until about 2 weeks ago.
Inaccurate and annoying
This app has been inaccurate in critical moments. It also has an unhelpful alarm whenever you go 1 mile over the speed limit. I tried this app for 6 months and today I’m deleting it. I hate it. And to the developer who said these features can be turned off - not an iPhone, no they can’t.
Scam
I can’t uninstall this app !!!! It keeps popping back up!! I’m going to show a video of me trying to uninstall it!!!
Not very good
No ability to use metric system (critical if you are driving in 95% of the world). Search engine is utter garbage and seems to think every search is for an eatery (restaurant). Crashes in the middle of most routes, so be ready to pull over several times so Here We [don’t] Go can get it together. Hard pass.
Disappointed
Trip was about a mile. Started out on a main road. The name of the place was wrong. Worse yet, it told me the place was on the left side of the road when, for 200 years, it has been on the right side of the road. Better map programs out there for years.
Won’t update incorrect maps
Their maps have incorrect data and they will not update them even when you alert them of the mistakes. It is very frustrating.
Car Play Zoom Reset
On Car Play I want to zoom out and see the big picture but then it automatically zooms back in after a few seconds. It didn’t used to do that.
Can’t Delete From Phone?!
I tried using this to download offline maps for a cross country drive, but even with data, audible directions were given LAST MINUTE, meaning I’d miss turns. Unfortunately, despite my efforts, I can’t “Remove App” - It just -doesn’t- go away. I don’t want it anymore; I’ve had to remove all permissions to make my regular Maps App work properly again.
Routes to closed roads
To this day it routes me through closed private roads with gates in place. I reported the error and HERE told me they couldn’t reproduce it. Don’t use this app if you don’t already know where you’re going.
Facebook Spyware
Here wego maps is constantly trying to communicate with Facebook servers (even in offline mode) and send your PII to Facebook. Not worth using this app if it’s riddled with spyware.

dangerously screwed up
This app regularly directs me to turn into oncoming one way street traffic, and changes instructions mid-route, with no settings to STOP that due to traffic priblems, etc.
It will constantly direct me to leave major streets for multiple 1-3 block diversions that are not remotely shorter routes.
It recently directed me to take freeway exit off ramps, and then turn to rejoin the same freeway, 8 times in a 10 mile distsnce! This is utterly idiotic, dangerous garbage.

Outdated maps
The maps in HERE are severely outdated. They’re not even close to being current with USGS data. It’s a shame it’s gotten so dated. This used to be my go to navigation app.
Worst navigation app ever
Why would anyone want to use this app ? All locations are either old or outdated, very poor graphics and design, just horrible
Not the best in CarPlay
If the map rotated and followed in the direction that you are driving, it will be a five star review absolutely. With Google or Apple Maps I could tap on the locate me button and it allows me to either look at the map display pointing north or in the direction that I am turning and driving this does not do that.

Looked nice but rarely worked
The interface looked nice but literally the first 3 destinations I entered didn't show up. And the restaurant I was eating at was showing as closed. Maybe I'll look at it again when it's more consistent.
Won't open consistently
I downloaded the app and promptly created "groups" of locations. A nice feature that allows users to have a restaurant group, a medical group, and so on. But those groups don't translate into the CarPlay screen. Worse, most times the app just gave me a blank screen both on my iPhone 16 and on my CarPlay screen. I just removed it.
Maps are terrible
The map for here is a complete and utter mess. So many businesses smack dab in the middle of the road. Yet when you correct it on Here Map Creator? They reject it with absolutely no explanation at all. You can see where it even says “updated by HERE Team on xxx date”. That’s embarrassing. Here may need to have a sit down with the “Team” and teach them how mapping is really done. I guess I’ll be sticking with OSM based apps from here on out.
Fix this!
I want to rate higher. In most cases, I get multiple route options to choose from. Usually 3. However, one of the most frequent routes I take I’m only offered 1 option and it’s not the best option. This is the case in the reverse direction as well.
Missing transit routes, tried to lead me wrong way down one way street
Downloaded this app because it isn’t caving to Trump’s PC nonsense. However, it’s missing some bus routes (has only 2/3 near my work) and tried to lead me the wrong way down a 1 way.
Worse update process
You guys finally fixed the bug where app wouldn’t update in the background.
I have seen that this app updates maps much quicker on android. Is there some sort of hatred for iPhones?
I’m stuck at 12% for over an hour. You guys have taken the European work hours way too seriously for last ten years. It can be a great app if you guys get around to it.
