Constant Glitches & No Support
I have used Homebase as an employee for several years and the app has steadily gotten worse over time. The latest issue being where the app never loads visiting one time, which forces me to delete and redownload the app every time. I contacted support and it’s nonexistent, as a chat bot said I was not allowed to contact Homebase about technical issues like this and I would have to contact my manager to then contact Homebase. Sure, I’m going to trouble my manager for something like that. It makes no sense.
Horrible
I have no idea how this app has any positive reviews. The force to use AI for your availability does not work- I would be fine with it as an option, but being the only way to enter your availability is dumb. If I didn’t need it- I would never use it. I hope it is free for the small business that use it.
Trash app
Terrible. Get signed out everytime I close the app
Can't clock in, out & take break.
Buggy as hell and when I reach out to support- im told I am the issue and they refused to look into it or attempt a fix.

This app has more glitches than any scheduling service I’ve ever used. It never keeps me logged in and the confirmation codes consistently do not work to log into my employee’s

Force close after update
Last update now does not allow me to use the app anymore, it force closes. I’ve reinstalled the app multiple times now and still can’t use it.

Hello, looking for help. I am unable to clock-in through the app or clock-in app. The only way to clock-in is using the website. My phone is updated and so is the iPad at work and still it won’t allow me to sign in. Please fix
Still Horrible
Just had another bad experience with customer support. I was finally able to actually speak with someone but it was a complete waste of time. Again, she blamed the algorithm and claims to be unable to be unable to make changes.

If you want to spend hours trying to get the most basic functions to work with no customer support, this is the app for you!
Stop logging me out!!!!!
This app was stable and easy to use until the last feature update. Now it constantly logs me out even after 1 hour. It is a nagging pain to have to constantly log in and wait. There is no reason for this and is compelling me to consider hotschedules.
This app is actually awful
Every time I try to make my availability in the app my phone starts slowing down like crazy and then it completely powers off and resets everything on my phone it’s actually bananas. I checked to see if it needed to be updated and it did so I updated and the same thing is still happening. It’s causing tension at work cause my boss doesn’t understand that this app just isn’t working and it’s messing up my work schedule.
Fix your GUI goddammit

Buggy AF
All push notifications are turned off and yet I still get annoying notifications every fifteen minutes telling me to clock in for my shift. We don’t not use Homebase to clock in with.

Really inconsistent with the money they lend you, sometimes I get an update on the app after a work shift, that I have money to borrow, and I go to the app and nothing there,happens all the time even after updating.
Bad
Gave me a pop up to review the app and it brought me out of homebase to review. Desperate and unworthy of a good review for not giving me a choice to say no.

The core functionality works, but the user experience on iOS is lacking. There is currently no option to create a home screen or lock screen widget to quickly clock in and out. Forcing employees to open the app multiple times a day just for a single tap is inefficient. I'll gladly raise my rating to 5 stars as soon as widget integration is added.
App is not good
it takes like 5 days after the payday ends to send you the money never once have I had a app take that long also it’s preloaded in your account well mine is by the company for the whole year so I don’t understand that, 2nd off it’s not a straight forward app to look at pay stubs you have to go through loops, they won’t let you cash out early unless you have 8 transactions within 30 days cool but half the cards they don’t accept like wth.

As of right now
I started using this app about a month ago. And haven’t had any issues until the last couple days. The first day it shows me I wasn’t employed there anymore Now it’s saying that I don’t have a schedule. There’s not even the schedule tab on the app anymore. However It now shows I work for my company I do. And that I can see my previous requested time off.
Yet another update making it worse
Now they removed the ability, as a manager, to edit time cards on both web and the app. That’s really frustrating as a manager when I can’t fix my employees hours, or my own anymore.
Used to love
I used to love Homebase! It was always very simple to use, never had any issues with logging in, or passwords or anything! Now it logs me out every time I close the app in the last month I have had to physically go in an update it 4 times and my apps are set for auto updates!
Also in the last month my password has not worked and I have had to change it almost every single time I have tried to log in!
I work over 90 hrs for one job - my schedule is usually pretty sporadic through out the day and to have to literally log in every single time and then change passwords because the system is not recognizing my password - when I know it is correct and I have had my biometrics (fingerprint & and face set up) makes absolutely no sense to how I am having so many issues!
What ever updates being pushed through need to be unpushed and go back to the software it was prior to 3 months ago!

Latest update is terrible
Well, as always the app is slow and laggy. But with the latest update there are notification badges when there is nothing to catch up on. No time off requests, no messages, nothing at all.
Then it constantly tells me I have notifications in the My Requests section when I do not.
Quit messing with things that work. Leave them be. If you want to fix something, get better servers that don’t lag all the time. Time is money and your software wastes plenty of it.
