The game is stuck, I haven't been able to log in for a week. I deleted and overloaded the game, but it didn't help. I wrote to support, but there has been no reaction for more than a week. I'm very disappointed, because I've been playing the game for more than 5 years and never had any problems.
Glitch in the game!
I have been playing Homescapes for several years now and it worked fine up until a couple of weeks go when the game developed a glitch. When I click on the app to open the game, a chest appears and says “Congratulations, Tap Here” upon tapping on the chest, a bunch of power ups comes out. They just stay on a frozen screen. I’ve tried waiting it out, force stopping the game, restarting my phone, deleting and reinstalling the game…all to no avail. Nothing works. When I reinstall the game it will work for a bit then do the exact same thing within an hour or so. Therefore, in order to play, I have to continually keep deleting and reinstalling the game. I would hate to permanently delete Homescapes, but at this point, I don’t know what else to do. I’ve contacted support and of course I am chatting with an AI bot and I have done everything they have suggested with no luck. So, I have given a one star rating, until this gets fixed.
Technical Issues Being Ignored
I’m pretty far in the game, and yes, I’m one of the dummies that spend money in-game sometimes. I tried to complete task at the chateau and the game loops in an endless cut scene. This has been happening for a solid 4-5 days. I can’t get help from in the app because it’s a cut scene. When I get to a help page, the bot requires my user id, which I cannot access, to submit an issue for help. I filled out what I could with my email address and they haven’t reached out in that time. I spent money right before the game started to glitch. Apparently this is the only way I might get help, so here I am: Devs, please help.

I’ve played Homescapes for a long time and used to really enjoy it. After a recent update, the game feels much harder. I’m now getting stuck on levels for a week or more, and it often feels like I need to buy coins or boosters just to make progress

Used to be a great game now everything is so difficult. Even the super ball is useless now. Have use every bonus to beat levels.

I love this game and that is why have been playing for years. However, it is too obvious that certain levels just require you to spend $ in order to continue playing.
A bigger problem is, that happens more and more frequently, showing how greedy the algorithm was designed.
This situation occurred previously but was improved for some time. It came back again.
The best way to deal with it? Just play less, or switch game.

The worst game ever, very hard levels, very unfair rules, the worst game design ever

I wish I could give a 0. I’m so tired of the hard levels. It takes forever to get out of and it’s stressful. I’m going back to candy crush because they are not greedy and with the hard levels it doesn’t take 2 to 3 weeks to finish

Not happy with the Bloom & Buzz feature
It’s incredibly difficult to make any progress with this feature and now it’s being used to fulfill a Weekend Plans task in the First Tier?! Are you kidding me?! I love this game but I guess the new featured side game won’t be something I focus on and now I guess I won’t be able to accomplish full tiers on the Side Tasks either…This went from a 5 Star to a 1 Star for me 😔BLOOM & BUZZ is a fail
Started off good
In the beginning, the game was good. Nice game to pass time by but it still wasn’t as advertised. Every time I saw this game as an ad, you were helping a woman and her child. When you play the game, that doesn’t happen. You basically have coal or gold coins going to one side which gets annoying after a while. But the game will stop letting you play the side games. Then you’re basically playing Candy Crush and Monopoly Go. When you get to a certain point, you will continually get super hard boards that you will never pass without paying for extra moves. My last board I had to get 59 different colors, 21 boxes and 2 hats. But in those hats I had to get a total of 53 different colors on a small board. Totally ridiculous. I stop playing. Just let me buy game up front. Don’t make me have to continuously pay $1.99, $2.99 and $5.99 to pass boards. I stop playing Candy Crush and Monopoly bc of this.

A serious complaint about this game & greediness
Who collects 900 coins for five moves when you can actually give 35 moves that is cruel and bad don’t you think ? and you guys know you don’t give enough coins when you win I am not going to rate you five star at all you remove the puzzles unfair

Today I open the game and nothing!! White screen and Playrix and then closes. The game is not working. I did delete the and reinstall….. nothing. What’s going on?

I have played this game for years. Great game but when you hit the higher levels you have to buy your way through almost every hard or super hard level. So done with this!

Wow this game they cheap on rewards and COINS. They took away the paper plane power up and separated rocket and bomb. Man they really want your money. Plus cmon less than 50 coins on basically every level. Makes me think they gonna make the rewards not worth it. This game wants your money. Also make it hard on us these very hard levels. Come clear 50-70 ice cubes and other stuff with only 10-18 moves playrix is really trying to grab your money and make this stuff hard on you. Dont spend
Notifications
After every level it keeps asking me if I want to turn on the notifications. I click “No Thanks” and it still asks me! I shouldn’t have to keep clicking no thanks. That should happen only once and that should be the end of it.
Greedy cheaters
The more people continue paying to win (which isn’t really winning) the greedier Playrix becomes. Stop making them richer!!!!
They intentionally rig the games to lose when only a move or two is needed to win. All they want is your money and it’s mind blowing that players don’t see that.

I literally can’t play anymore it’s fun and stuff but I’m stuck on a “cutscene” whenever I open the app it just shows the characters standing still I can’t do anything and it’s been days pls fix the game
Played game for 2 years
I have enjoyed this game for quite some time but in the last month it isn’t loading correctly. Often it just sits at the start up screen with no progress or it just shuts itself down.

Consistently overcharges me
I have been playing this since COVID and enjoy it. I’ve noticed in the past year or so whenever I purchase a $.99 set of “coins” I get charged twice and have to get Apple to refund me. No, $.99 isn’t a lot but it’s the principle of the thing. Watch your purchases!
Punished for winning
I have played this game twice. The first time I uninstalled it was because it seemed that I was being punished for being successful, meaning that the higher the levels, the harder the game, but no better rewards. Every other level became super hard and nearly impossible to beat unless I had a boost, which would often be wasted because the game chooses when to use them. It quickly became no fun and unenjoyable.
I decided to try it again a couple of years later. I made it a little farther in the storyline than before, and they added a cute little side story/adventure. Unfortunately, the game has once again become more frustrating than fun, and I am not interested in the story enough to torture myself by playing the ridiculous levels. I will avoid this developer’s other games as well, since they all have the same format.

No more rescue puzzles
I really loved having the break of the rescue puzzles.
Can’t claim my coins in team competition
How do users report bugs? It’s a good game, but no way to let developer know there are problems.
Scam
This game is designed for one thing and one thing only to get you to pay for coins in order to move forward. They set the task with a minimal number of try’s until you have to buy more coins in order to proceed. I complained about the cost of extra turns and got the it’s not impossible. Really? Shame on them. I’m done and even though I like the game I’m not being sucked in to spend 50 or more a week just to be able to play. .

This game is such a scam! Every time I see the add after playing the game, I think to myself, “ Why are they lying about their own game?” DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME!!!
