Good at everything but export.
If your goal is to keep everything that you do on this app within this app then it's great but if your goal is to export the data that you collect with this app, you will be annoyed and disappointed.
The way that it handles exports is very limited the format options also limited and it even lacks the ability to put out a clean simple text document.
The fact that this is incapable of pumping out a premade clean PDF is pretty baffling. I actually don't understand the point of this app if it handles exporting the data that it collects so badly.
Until this app dev team decides to finally give good exporting tools and options this review will stay bad.

Syncing is awful and ruinous
This won’t sync from my iPhone onto my Mac and it’s a waste of time and money. Deeply regret this purchase and the time I have invested in this product so far. Waiting to hear back from customer service- maybe I’ll change my review if they can actually help me but I’m not holding my breath and if this review remains unedited and unchanged then that means stay away from them
Money
Loved it at first but then I got a pop up that said the max amount of entries and now I have to buy the subscription if I want to add more. Dont get this app!!
STOP
Quit with the pop ups!!!!!!!!!
Overpriced
Used to be a decent APP but $48/yr is nuts for simple time tracking.
Misses a lot of location changes
I used to really rely on this app but has been letting me down lately. Missing arrival and departure for jobs.
App doesn’t open
The app was fine until recent update. The app doesn’t open anymore and immediately crashes.
The app just wants your money.
Doesn’t let you even clock in without a subscription.
Capital market greed to an extreme
This app demonstrates without a doubt the greed of an “indie developer”. If the year was 2016 you lucked out on this app it. promised easy to use features and very organized GUI. This app pulled something of a following, which personally I am happy to see people succeed, but after the people were enticed with a decent app. The developer decided to do what’s known as a price hike which led many to be baffled. The price of the “premium” used to be a one-time-payment of something similar to $2.99. Little by little the price increased until it ended up at “$29.99/year”. Not only is this no longer a standard one-time-payment it has become a subscription service. The amount of greed exuded by the developer to make a $2.99 premium into a almost $30 subscription fee per year goes to show that this developer doesn’t care about you and only wants to squeeze as much money out of the cult following that has remained. Let it be known this if you pay for this app this developer likely thinks of you as a whale providing themself exorbitant prices under the guise of “being the most up to date app out there” do not listen to these greedy marketing tactics, and use a different app. There are many out there that offer a similar experience
P.s this is a direct to the developer. Just because you update your app “regularly“ doesn’t mean you have the right to charge a subscription service. Your greed knows no bounds.

Junk
Used to work great, now it doesn’t even load when I open it,
Update stinks
I’ve used this app religiously for four years. This update makes it unreadable. The times are scrunched together and it’s more work to add one time in. Please tell me how to duplicate something!! Sadly, I’m quitting hours tracker. I reached out to them and their answer was - “it’s not supposed to look like that”
Then fix it!!!
Then fix it!!!
Feedback on Huge Price Increase for Hours Subscription
I’ve been a long-time user (2010) of Hours and really appreciate how well it helps me track my time. However, I was surprised to see the annual subscription jump from $9.99/year to $47.99/year - nearly a 5× increase in price.
While I understand the need for sustainable pricing, such a large increase is difficult for many users to absorb, especially when competing time-tracking apps offer strong features at more moderate price points. It would be great to hear more about the reasoning behind this change, and if there’s any plan to offer:
A grandfathered discount for existing users,
A lifetime purchase option, or
More clearly tiered functionality tied to the price increase.
I’d love to continue using Hours, but this pricing shift may push me to explore alternatives if options with similar value are available.
Thanks for your consideration and for the great app!
The 2 stars is for the 4.8x price increase!!

Only allows you 21 entries than you have to start erasing.

thirty second ads.
Annoying ads and outdated UI
The free version doesn’t really come with enough to do much and the ads are quite annoying. I don’t think it’s up to snuff enough to follow the model that they are.
