To complete , the release notes for the firmwares are also not available through the software , I’m receiving an error when i try to access them.
I’m also facing another issue. The release notes for the firmwares are not available through the software, and I’m receiving an error message when I attempt to access them.

I would not sudjest
I would not sunset buying this headset I have had 2 both broke within 2 weeks
Crashes
App crashes every time you run discover. On latest OS and phone.
Doesn’t support Poly Savi 8220
App freezes and does not work with Poly Savi 8220.
Not helpful
I bought BackBeat Pro 5100 earbuds today and I tried to find the backbeat app. I am deaf in my right ear and was hoping I could find a setting to help me with that but apparently this is the app now? And they don’t even support my device.
No support for Plantronics BackBeat PRO 5100
The backbeat app i had used was discontinued and no longer available to download. Found this app and that HP bought Plantronics :( alas no support for my headphones and can’t find it in the list of devices. Registered this device and not even an email from HP letting legacy device owners know about the change and their decision to end support, classy move :(
Plantronics Hub is useless for iphone. Done with HP and their lack of customer awareness.

Device not supported
I have a plt bbfit3100, and this app doesn’t support it. Not only that, but from I can tell you got rid of the app that did support it. So sick of tech companies doing this. Why remove the app that had support for it if you weren’t going to support it here? I literally just want to connect with my left earbud while my right one charges, but I can’t without using the app.
Sad to see Plantronics support disappear
Used the Backbeat app to configure and update my Backbeat Go headset. Sadly HP killed a great thing and replaced it with this crApp. No support for most of plantronics headsets. Can’t configure the noise reduction settings, the sound mixer, or chose the paired device.
Doesn’t work with iPhone 15 max pro
I’ve been using these folks for years but no more- their tech doesn’t keep up nor does their app or customer service work.
Not accurate talk time & unstable talk time
Tried to install and test on iPad/iPhone/Windows PC, however, the app is useless.
Most importantly, the talk time showing on the app is not accurate at all.

Buggy product, horrible support
Poly headsets fail constantly and Poly is extremely slow to honour their warranties. I had to threaten legal action to get any movement.
Not everything needs to be an app
This doesn’t need to be an app. There’s too many apps.
Stranded customer
When is support for the Backbeat Go 810 coming?
Useless app
It won’t detect my 2 year old Voyager 3200. I used to use it for updates and locating a lost device. This app only works with the newest models. I definitely won’t be purchasing any of their products in the future due to lack of support.
Not detecting my headset…
Just got a 8210 headset and trying to connect to app. Was able to get the phone to connect and work properly and confirm it is comparable with the poly app. However, the app won’t detect the headset and therefor I cannot update change settings or do just about anything else. Not sure why.
Does not support PLT Backbeat Fit headphones
This app replaces the very good and highly recommend Backbeat app and does not support the PLT Backbeat fit headphones. This is a shame, as the Backbeat remains the best Bluetooth headphones I have ever used. Very disappointing.
Installs without permission
This installed silently without permission with no information as to why. If it’s is not malware, it’s intrusive at least.
Abandoned Customers
So where is the old Plantronics app for headphones? It appears that the old apps are gone and existing customers don’t matter anymore.
New Poly App is worthless - Doesn’t work with Tile
A big selling point for me to get the Plantronics headset has always been that it works with the Tile app. Once Poly changed to the Poly app, it no longer works with Tile. Unlike Tile, the Poly app can only track the location when the headset is turned on, and the headset no longer beeps when being located. The app also doesn’t have the same settings available. It is the most worthless app, and such a technological step backwards that it’s beyond disappointing and I will no longer buy Poly products.
This app doesn’t do anything
This app has no useful functionality. It can detect my headset, only to tell me it’s disconnected. There’s no option to connect it. I was hoping to be able to find out which devices it’s connected to via bluetooth and troubleshoot connection issues, but there’s literally nothing you can do with the app other than find your headset on a map if it’s missing.
Poly abandoning longtime users
Original review:
Replacing one fully functional app with a completely different app that no longer has the relied upon functionalities of the previous app is NOT AN UPDATE. That should not be allowed in the App Store. This should have been released as a separate app alongside the Plantronics Hub app. At least that app worked as it was supposed to. Now I have a very expensive headset that I can’t even use the “find my headset” function with. It’s too bad, Plantronics was hands down the absolute best out there before merging with Polycom.

I have the Plantronics Voyager Edge/3200. Not an entry level unit, also not the most expensive. I also have 2 charging cases and other accessories for it. I drive tractor trailers, tri-axle dump trucks, and operate heavy equipment, so a quality headset with great noise cancellation and long battery life are very important to me. I lost my original unit in a tractor trailer accident last fall and hunted down another to replace it.
I really don’t understand why any developer would replace a perfectly good, working, viable app, that has a huge following of loyal customers, with a completely different app under a different name? Why not just release the new one alongside the original? Microsoft does this with different versions of windows, where would be the harm in having both and sunsetting the older app a few years down the road? At least then you wouldn’t have alienated so very many of your loyal customers, as we would still have a useable option. Now I’m just dreading the day when I need to replace this headset, as it will probably not be with a “Poly” unit - unless you can fix what you broke...

Useless if you own more than one unit
Doesn’t differentiate between multiple units or show last location. Only refers to last used unit. I have a lost headset that s turned off. Can’t see last location since another unit has been switched on
No Support
When the app was changed from Plantronics Hub, support was omitted for my Plantronics device.
Doesn’t support Voyager Legend. Worthless!
Where did this come from? Bring back the Hub! This is worthless!
Poly Lens Useless
Poly Lens is useless. Does not work with PLT E100 blue tooth. It replaced a functional app. Plantronics “was” a useful app.
Only the newest devices supported
Poly no longer offers the Plantronics Hub App that supported a lot more models than this App. I understand not supporting really old devices, but Poly doesn’t even support devices still being sold by the company.
Supported Devices Missing
I’ve had the Voyager Legend for years. This latest update no longer has the Legend. This only earpiece that fits my ear. Very disappointed in the update.
Supported Devices
User guide for Voyager 3200 says this app Poly lens which was updated from Plantronics Hub supports my device “ Voyager 3200 “specifically in the guide however the app clearly doesn’t recognize it or support it.
Not working
Updated app and doesn’t work with iOS
Voyager Legend
New “poly” app replaced Plantronics app, and my Voyager Legend, which still works great, is now no longer recognized on the new app. So firmware updates and features of the app won’t work with my earpiece; frustrating to say the least. When it comes time to replace my earpiece, I will be seeking out another brand. When a brand isn’t loyal to its customers, I will no longer be loyal to the brand.
Useless
This app auto loaded on my phone to replace the old version, which supported my headset. However, this replacement app does not support my headset and will not recognize it. Fortunately the headset still works with my phone as it had before.
A login account
The fact that this app now ask you to setup an account to access “all” the available features is garbage. I am planning on dumping this app and headset now for something better. Hardware and software quality has all gone downhill since the merger.
Does not support old devices
Previous app supported old devices but new app remove the support for old devices.
I will not buy Poly products anymore because they will stop the support in couple of years.

Doesn’t work anymore
Used to work with my V5200. Doesn’t connect any more. Bummer.
Garbage Software
Doesn’t find device even though connected. Causes call drops and other party cannot hear voice. Useless.
Says no connection while using it.
Headset excellent. App terrible. Seems like some good features like firmware updater and stuff but won’t work if it thinks it’s not connected. Even thought it’s clearly connected.
Hot Garbage
This was a great headset at one time. Now, with iOS 16, the app is useless and doesn’t see the device, even though it is connected.
Doesn’t work
App outdated. Doesn’t work with iOS 16
app is trash don't waste your time
on ploy's site reading an article on how to do something and it doesn't align with app. app not intuitive. just another trash app so poly can say they have an app
Doesn’t work
App hasn’t worked since iOS 16 release. Doesn’t connect via Bluetooth anymore. Renders a brand new headset which Poly still manufactures no better than a $10 gas station BT headset.
App is useless and expensive headset half useless
Would not recommend Plantronics. App can’t help solve any issues, headset is doing what it feels like and half disruptively malfunctioning. Should have stuck with Jabra.
App rarely sees Bluetooth even though connected to phone
I want to switch streaming audio settings but app rarely sees device. Even rebooting doesn’t help. Just randomly works 2 out of 10 times
Hub App Doesn’t Connect to Plantronics Voyager 5200
Headset connect to iPhone but Hub App doesn’t recognize headset. I tried resetting, forgetting device, repairing … never connects so Alexa is useless because it won’t recognize. Frustrating piece of equipment for $125
