My review after using the app for one week
I recently took subscription and here are my observations so far: 1. Serious issues with the player. If you start a playlist, next song won’t start by itself until you open the app and play song by pressing the play button 2. Though you select HD streaming audio quality, it keeps playing low quality audios even if network is very good 3. Audio quality is nowhere near to apps like YouTube Music, Amazon music, Spotify etc. 4. It doesn’t allow me to edit profile, there is no option to edit mobile number 5. Deleted playlist appears again Makers of this app has to fix the bugfixes if they want a serious business
Another issue - i am based out in USA and it doesn’t give me new movies songs like Animal, The Archies, Dunki, Fighter etc. already reached out to support and haven’t heard back.

Equalizer is not working

One star only for nice collection of songs
Such a slow app. I can’t open my playlist if songs are playing. Out of nowhere the app will stop working. “Something went wrong, please try again” I’ve seen this error message if not more same amount of songs I have listened. Such a useless app!
Too many add
Ads are too many if not subscribed. Uninstalled as it is quite unusable.
Hang issue and late response
It always hangs when i change the song . It give very late response while liking the song or switching the menu to home to other . I always face these problems . Developer can u please solve these problems and provide us better experience . The main reason u are not getting viral like spotify or other app is ur user experience . So please fix it in next update .
Dolby Atmos isn’t available in IOS apps
Dolby Atmos quality available in android apps but why not for iphone apps ?

Please improve your search engine , hard to find specific song or movie , it’s almost impossible.

One star why?
I love the app specially the feature where you can use the coins to get subscription and also to buy amazing gifts, so five starts for that. And coming to the point why 1 star, well that is because my subscription ended last month and since than I am trying to use my points to renew my subscription but for last 1 month it is showing rewards under maintenance. Now come on how long to fix the site. One month is just too much. Please do something about it soon.
Very bad apps with few new songs
I have bought pro version even though there are very few Hindi new songs. I don’t recommend pro version for everyone who is looking for new Hindi songs

It stops by itself regularly
Good App, but...
I really like the app and has a good collection of songs. However I give it a 3 star because the search function does not do a good job of looking at the library and comes with no results. Additionally with the latest update in Dec 2019, the next song starts randomly from any point. I have downloaded several songs and placed them in playlists, however the first song will play well, but the next song will start somewhere in midpoint. I may have to ditch the app if this is not corrected.
Not working
The coin section, it’s not working fully. It shows only 20 coins, I listened to many songs but still stuck with one. Don’t know if there’s a bug with the app but I also had many coins and it all disappeared. Anyway hungama app was good. Also it have ads in it. But after a lot of updating I start to dislike it. I do know for a fact that when an app starts to update a lot just remember it’s time to remove an app from the phone. I tried to look for a contact email but can’t find any..
Too many advertisements now
I enjoyed this app for over 3 years, I guess. It was a 5 star app but now it has become extremely irritating by constant advertisements. I used to play music and read a book or just loved listening to non stop music but suddenly ads started popping up in between, totally breaking the relaxation time. Sometimes I used to sleep with songs playing in the background. Recently I woke up with sudden advertisement sound in the middle of the night. In half asleep state it took couple of minutes in shutting this thing off. Result : my family woke up too. Disappointed by it now. I had recommended this to many. Now all are uninstalling this app. Sadly, am uninstalling it too. :(
Always closes automatically
Whenever i open the application to listen to songs it just shuts down completely, like as if it has crashed and it become extremely irritating as I normally listen to music when going for a jog , this app always breaks my rhythm. Please developers fix this !!!!!!!!!

I have been using this app for a while now. I began using it from 2017 but as more updates comes through it see harder to navigate. But recently I have been having issues in trying to redeem my points. The app shows I have 29,465 points and when trying to redeem the points it shows 0. What’s going on.
A great app destroyed
Have been using this app for an year now. Was great, now pathetic. Lost my 27000 plus coins and most of the time playing ‘I am not a robot’

The new version of the app is so bad. I can’t even redeem out points either.

Full of Bugs!
The app is full of bugs, constantly crashes, and the app developers behind it are highly incompetent! Playlists disappear randomly, songs are not added to playlists even after adding them multiple times, some playlists can't be saved offline no matter how many times you try, some songs cannot be deleted; I could go on and on and on...

Not able to choose language which means i cant use hungama
Wasn’t used to be likethat before I downloaded again after reset now it ask me to choose any languages but languages are not being displayed, i use ios
Lousy stops after every song.
Not good at all. It just stops after every song. We don’t mind the advertisement but at least should keep playing.
Bugs bugs and more bugs
Music is paused as soon as song finishes until you go back to app to listen to a 30 second commercial only for the next song to pause that you have to manually play again. Do you really need an ad after every song and if so atleast make sure the app keeps working w/o requiring user to go to app again to manually play things. Horrible user experience on iPhone.
Always loses my information
It is a mediocre app that randomly shuffles and loses my playlists. Also they offer coins to redeem for subscriptions but I have never been able to use them. When I contacted their help desk regarding this fact I was told to contact apple support to cancel my membership?!? Not sure why they wanted me to cancel my subscription. I don’t think they value the customers who actually pay.

Annoying
This app was enjoyable before but now .... it glitches so much ...whenever I’m not using Hungama and I’m on some other app it randomly starts playing random songs onall of a sudden and then when I go to the app and shut it down , in two or three minutes it starts playing random songs all over again . I tried restarting my iPhone but that doesn’t solve the problem. So I deleted the app over two times and downloaded it again to see if maybe that would solve the problem...but it just doesn’t work . This has got me so annoyed. I would appreciate if the developers actually worked on fixing this problem or responded to this .
Cannot redeem coins
I have 90,000 coins and trying to use it to renew my Hungama pro membership but cannot use it. When i am on redeem coins page it shows coin balance as 0.

I used to use this app all the time using its virtual coin policy. But I’m giving it 2 stars only because this time I went to redeem my coins but the feature was unavailable. There was a banner and I wasn’t able to redeem my coins. Please fix it.
Potential but has taken steps backward
I have been a Hungama user for over 3 years and I loved the app in the beginning but it keeps getting worse with each update.
First the pros:
+ good song lists and db
+ search is decent
+ You can download up to 20 songs for free and then pay for more which is reasonable
Now the downsides (each comes with various updates over this year in 2019):
- the downloaded songs used to be 20 and you could remove and add. Now if you remove you cannot add back a new song even if you are well under 20 songs - this is a bug!
- they introduced ads (which is fine) but the rotation is limited and they ply after EVERY song- I mean cmon even public radio doesn’t do that!
- if you are listening to your downloaded list and internet is spotty, it will stop playing your songs as it tries to prioritize playing an ad?!? Really what about customer experience over money making?
- app constantly restarts or crashes
- Apple car play support is not good
- Bluetooth connectivity has gotten worse as my iTunes music interrupts Hungama constantly as if Hungama (while buffering) is allowing other apps to secede it
- did I say how it constantly stops playing or crashes (had to repast this one as it completely defeats the purpose of the app)
- if an ad is playing and internet access goes (subway), you have to restart the app to play music

The app is good. But I get ads after every songs. But some of my friends don’t! We all have the same version. This is frustrating!
Had high hopes
Moved away from Gaana as gaana had several glitches. It’s been only 2 days in my subscription and this is already giving me problems. I had added several songs in my playlist. When I go to the playlist tab I can see my playlist saying 10 songs but when I open my playlist it says 0 songs. I am logged in and everything looks fine. Sad. None of the Indian songs app works even with the basic functionalities.
