Restore the option to have a dark themed logo
Decent banking app, though not in the top 3 of good ones I’ve used. Wish it looked more modern like SoFi. One star because the recent update made the app icon neon green and took away the ability to have a dark icon to match iOS settings. Also, in 2026, a dark mode in the entire app needs to be an option.
Glitching
App keeps losing all my quick balance and biometrics info and telling me I need to log in and re-activate it. All options to talk to anybody on the website is unavailable. Kind of a trash bank in general.

Last update ruined app
It doesn’t work any longer. It just says that there’s no connection to the internet and then closes. I’ve reinstalled it but it keeps happening.

I’m always having issues signing in with face recognition
NO ONE WANTS TO TALK TO YOUR STUPID AI “REPRESENTSTIVES”
I have been trying to dispute a few charges and the consequent overdraft fees that followed (I am in the process of switching banks and have already changed my payment methods so this should not have happened). But your AI “representatives” are too primitive to understand that apparently. How is it too much to ask for a human being to talk to? And seriously, how insulting is it that “they” pretend to be human?
Before, if I asked to speak to a human I would be transferred to a human immediately. Now, the ai just lies and tries to convince me that it *is* a human. Are you kidding me? What’s even the point? Huntington, we’re not stupid. This is ridiculous.
PS I think it’s disgusting that you have made the decision to replace real human beings with ai. How many lives were uprooted for this? How many are unemployed for this?

Every-time I go to do something on Saturday afternoons I can’t because it says that the app is scheduled for maintenance then I can’t spend money or watch my spending it’s a pain.
Not as expected
Ive gotten my paycheck early every week from the same company ive switched banks a couple times to see which is suited for me and so far this is not it ! I know yall say we deposit checks early or when the pay roll providers send them. But this is the second week in a row i havent gotten early pay. Not happy most definitely will be switching

No way to update categories for voice card
I have a voice credit card and despite what Google says there’s no option for me to update my categories for my voice credit card which is frustrating - have to use a desktop version and ain’t nobody got time for that!
terrible bank terrible app
i hate this bank and this app they’re both terrible. support doesn’t work half the time, transfers don’t work half the time, the app is down right when i need to transfer money and use it and can’t do anything about it. i receive 20 million alerts everyday that i can’t turn off, and they’re all stupid and not useful. the entire bank sucks they spam call me they ask about everything. my card gets locked constantly and i was overseas and had to cancel my trip early because they blocked all my accounts and had to go in person to unblock them. will be closing my accounts when i get back from my trip and switching to a better bank and i suggest you do the same. ridiculous fees and terrible experience. 0/10 bank.

App crashes
It has been this way for a week. When I open the app it says no connection. (There is a connection) so I uninstalled and reinstalled and then redo everything and I get “something went wrong” once I get jnto the app and ca t access my info.
Awful Customer Servie
I attempted to cancel my accounts over the phone because I moved across the country. I called and had them cancel my 3 accounts and they only canceled 1 account and attempted to charge me overdraft fees after allowing charges to come through on the account that I never authorized. I’ve tried calling 3 times to get this sorted and they are no help.

I deposited money by cash into the atm this morning. It never posted to my account. The ladies at the branch said it’s showing in their system but it is not showing on my mobile app or when I call. FIX PLEASE THIS IS NOT OK

This bank has failed me. I deposited my paycheck into my account and the locked my account saying they don’t trust the check. It’s close to two months now and they didn’t release my money to me. They are so stupid. I called them telling them I am 75 years old and I can’t drive 3 hours plus to where the next branch is. They asked me to send a letter of closure of my account and they gave me an address, I mailed the letter to them and they received it. They never worked on it. All they did was to leave me account locked while I have my money in there. They let my landlines chased me out of the apartment cos that was my paycheck and I was supposed to pay my rent with it. I’ll tell the whole world what this stupid bank has done to me

Biometrics issue
I’m not sure what’s going on or why, but I can no longer use the biometric login with any consistency. I agree to it, enable it and then the next time or maybe the time after I login I have to go through the process all over again. It’s become cumbersome.
Outrageous bank
I was loving this bank, did everything with them, and today at 3:00 PM they just decided to lock my account and closed my account, no explanation on why or why they are not giving me my money that I had in my account. NEVER AGAIN HUNTINGTON
Mobile deposits rejected
Since November 2025 the monthly checks I receive and try to deposit through this app are rejected saying “information is incorrect and retry” and now today rejected and saying “check is a duplicate deposit.” Huh?! I have reinstalled app multiple times and still rejects. Yes my iPhone has been updated to 26 but I installed the Huntington app on a Samsung phone to see if mobile deposit works on it and still got the exact same error messages!!! They can spend millions putting their name on the Browns stadium but can’t get their app right. This is unacceptable!

My account statements are never up to date, and it doesn't allow me to organize myself properly. I didn't used to have problems with this app, but now it's terrible.

Features aren’t anything special and the app is constantly under maintenance and i’ve experienced not being able to access my money through the app multiple times
Waste
Wasted HOURS of my life on hold because I was locked out of making mobile deposits, only to find out on my own that it was because the app requires your PRECISE location. Of course the only reason for that is so that they can sell the information.

Mobile App
The Huntington Mobile app was great at first. All it does now is act wonky is the word I can only describe. It often doesn’t open at all. Says I have no internet often and at time says I have wrong password. I have a new phone now and it’s doing the same thing! It’s really frustrating I’ve never had a bank app act up like this!!!
Can’t pay credit card in the app
For some reason, the button to pay my account is only visible on the website, which looks identical to the app. I don’t know what point the app has if I can’t even pay my damn credit card with it.

I ended up getting a new card with Huntington given the limit & needing to make a transfer, everything went ok regarding that but this app itself doesn’t have a way to make payments involving a checking account with a different bank…. Why? If I go to Huntington’s website I can make the payment but not the app? What’s the point in the app if you don’t have something so basic on it?
Cannot set up auto-pay with business account
I bought a brand new ford transit for my company with a business loan from Huntington and they do not allow auto pay to come out of a business account. How ridiculous is that?! “Sorry you have to use your PERSONAL checking account to pay for a BUSINESS auto loan off” what a joke!
Automatic payment does not always work
Caution! I was informed by Huntington phone support that even though it appears you can set up automatic payment of your Huntington credit card with the app. You cannot! This must be done with a laptop or at the branch. This may lead to missed payments and high fees.
A True Traditional Ripoff Bank
Watch your accounts closely, and FULLY understand each account’s minimum balance requirements or you’ll be nickled and dimed with monthly fees at $25 a month. The computer systems used by Huntington are sorely out of date (for instance I had to be transferred by their customer service to a Certificate of Deposit sales team to learn my CD maturity date because it wasn’t available in the iPhone app and the regular banking service reps didn’t have access to that basic info!), and the mobile app doesn’t replicate the data available on their regular online banking website. For example, I couldn’t check when my Certificate of Deposit matures in the iPhone app. All in all, I will not do business with Huntington again when the reason for these special purpose accounts ceases to exists. I advise you to consider a more tech-forward bank than Huntington.

Down for server maintenance before 6 AM more often than not. About to switch banks to one that will actually let me look at my money when I want or need.

This company is holding my money, refuse to allow me access to my account, or my employee paycheck, which they said they would not even accept bc my account was closed! They are telling me i have to wait up to 90 days for my money.
