Stopped working suddenly
Suddenly the app just STOPPED working. No texts sent or received, no calls coming in or out. For FIVE DAYS I did not realize what happened- I thought the wonderful man I was dating had ghosted me suddenly! And worse, he thought I ghosted him! We both went 5 days feeling sad, confused, bewildered, losing sleep, and worse- judging each other for what we thought was a ghosting when we thought we had good communication! Thank God he understood when I finally figured it out and reached out to him. I almost lost the best thing happening in my life because of this awful app! RIDICULOUS, don't rely on this junk for ANYTHING.

Why not disclose one line monthly and annual rate?
I will not do a trial subscription without knowing what the one line monthly and annual fees are. Why bother. DEVELOPER, PLEASE DISCLOSE THESE CHARGES WITHOUT FORCING PEOPLE TO GET TRIAL. You disclosed the 3 line charges. Makes no sense to withhold this info and forcing trial.

Buyer Beware!!! Not a trustworthy company - Very Poor “customer service”
I created my Hushed Account and everything was working correctly. Then one day it stopped working. I reached out to Hushed "Customer Service" and was given the run around about what email address I used to set up the account. Then how did you pay for it, so I provided my receipt from Mashable Shop and PayPal. Then I was told that the Hushed Account associated with my Redemption Code was deleted on the “user end” and that they are unable to assist me further. In other words, they’re saying I deleted my own account.
So much for "lifetime" service. Buyer beware.

I bought a lifetime subscription for this service and one day I couldn’t log in. I contacted support only to be told my account is suspended indefinitely for violating terms of service. They currently refuse to tell me what I violated exactly on A SECOND PHONE LINE. If you value privacy and security, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP.

Obsolete cancelling instructions
You don’t cancel from iTunes as written in their docs. You need to cancel from your Apple account settings. Shady to not update this in the documentation. SHADY!
No help or customer support
Hushed offered no help or support assisting me with an ongoing issue with account access, payments, or refunds. Against my better judgement, I re-subscribe for an annual member through Apple Pay, and Hushed will now not allow me to login with my Apple ID. Use another app.

I purchased a stacksocial lifetime number and every so often it just vanishes forcing me to contact support and get nowhere for weeks. Run and don’t look back. Horrible
BAD SERVICE / Close my business account
I totally not recommending to use their service, I made client list on the number they provided for 5 dollars a month!!! it’s like regular SIM card without network. It was nice to use, some areas was no connection. But I was try no look on that. When I built +50 numbers on this number they permanently closed my account , so my business lost potential clients and I can’t even send them a message. So not recommended to use !

Deleted my number
I used this app for a while and created a whole business line for my consulting business. For a while I received lots of spam calls that finally calmed down. But then I checked last week on app to verify something, and realized my number had expired! I had no warning even though I had alerts and messages set. Not sure why it would expire when I’m paying and using a number. I had lots a marketing fliers mail out plus a big new box of business cards. All junk now and who knows how many leads I lost due to number being gone.

I have paid for hushed many times and I just found out that my messages were never received by the recipients. Do not pay money to this company

Calls go straight to voicemail. Customer service only have canned responses. Would not recommend

After you send a few sms it will stop working, then when you message support that sms sends but doesn’t deliver on receipt end they Will tell you, you violated a policy and you are banned. At this point you need to fight for your refund
Expiration when it’s auto renewed
Even though I’m paying auto renewal, I have received “your Hushed service was expired and lost your number” messages two different times which is obviously unnerving. Found out it was never disconnected and everything was fine the first time but I’m still trying to figure out for the second time as I type. If I am renewing automatically with not expired credit card why would this keep happening

I paid for a number and it didn’t send or even let me make calls. I thought the other person was lying but then I sent texts to myself, my work cell and even my friends number to check and non received any. I reported to customer service and literally no help. Please use other apps. You’ll waste your money here and I hope I was able to save some of yall

If your lucky and it works great , but if it don’t work , you get zero help in fixing the problem, they help you through email and give you generic responses, they basically refuse to help you , and your stuck with a non working number , you get no refunds . There’s many others you can get , don’t bother with this scam .

For well over a year and having multiple problems. There is NO WHERE to get help despite paying every month loyally. Absolutely terrible customer service. I would look at other second lines as I now am. What a waste.

They’re unreliable and avoid refunds. Some numbers work, others don’t… and when they fail, they refuse to take responsibility. They blame the App Store, the App Store blames them, and you’re left with no refund. Very unprofessional service. Avoid.
Very bad user experience
I just re-subscribed and in less than 24 hours my account has been canceled I can no longer log into my account, I don’t know what’s wrong

I paid for their services and the first day I texted 1 person and when I plan to use the app again none of my messages was delivered and their customer service doesn’t function and I will write my review till I get a refund or it starts working this is just one review I will post another one
Unable to make calls
The app works fine for text. However when trying to make calls it’s always an error and customer service has not been helpful in resolving the issue.

They have the WORST customer service on the planet. There is no number to contact them about any issues you may have. They only have an email address to send for any problems or issues. It takes them a few hours just to email you back a message that says “ they will look into it and it can take up to 24 to 48 hours”
🚨 Also be aware that they can discontinue your account without a notice or warning. So if you have any important messages, pictures, voicemails you need to save them to your phone immediately, NOT the hush app because if they take your account you won’t have access to it.

Works good until it doesn’t
Works good, then locks you out without the ability to login back. No link or form to inquire help. Twice my monthly subscription was cut a week into it, no way to get money back.
This is not what I was expecting…
I came from America and moved to the Philippines to be with my wife and children. I had to port my phone number to magic jack for a temporary solution until I can find something better. I ended up finding this service. I tested it for the limited trial they gave me and fell in love with it.. so I ported my number to Hushed… Well.. today I had a medical emergency and I needed to contact my family. I had to repeatedly call them to wake them up… After several tries I can no longer call out! They flagged my account to be spamming! I contacted support and they gave me a warning?! What? I also have to start training for a job… They did get my number back working, but after about the second call (trying to figure out which number was for the job I’m starting) they flagged my account again! I’m about to lose this job opportunity because of this! I’m limited with time! I’m afraid I’ll lose my American number that my family uses to contact me.. so until they can fix this I’m giving this app a 1 star… Wasted my money and I’m losing the number I had for more than 15 years!
