This app is good for studying but it’s so expensive for a subscription

I just missed recording a very important meeting, there is some issue and I couldn’t get it to work. Odd this thing crashes after my free test days. I’d like to cancel and get my money back please. Also went to the help area and that was crashed as well. Please refund and delete this app from my phone.

If you're going to offer a three day trial, then you need to allow access to the app… I was really frustrated because I want to try to see if your app works for my needs and yet you don't allow any access to the app without forcing your customer to end the free trial and to be immediately charged ! What's the point of offering a free trial if you don't give access to your entire apps capabilities?? it never ceases to amaze me how stupid companies are and how they treat their customers. Also, during my trial today, I copy and pasted a Ted talk link into HyNote and all it gave me was a full description of Ted talks. It didn't give him one bit of information about the video nor did it transcribe the video in any way! This app has immediately failed me And I've only been trying to use it for 15 minutes - also nowhere on the HyNote website gives me access to any troubleshooting via chat - if I had the capability of figuring out the troubles, I was running into within the first 15 minutes of trying to figure out this app I might have stuck with it… I'm already annoyed so I immediately canceled my subscription!!

I was charged for a year and I don't even know what this app is

Very slow, had the best plan for 5 minutes, payed $200.00. Used voice to talk and said would answer right away. Indeed did not and not worth $200.00.

i’ve had this less than a day and paid for a subscription of almost $18 a month to use this for college and it won’t let me log in.. this is a scam. it deleted my first day of schools lecture recordings the day i recorded them. SCAM!!!

Update : 6 months still no refund , multiple emails, app is useless for IPAD based lessons. Company will not refund. BUYERS AVOID. Much better solutions elsewhere. Let my pain be your warning.
Update: Still no refund despite numerous attempts beginning day 1 of purchase. Do not trust this vendor.
Simply unable to transcribe or note take on any lesson being conducted thru the IPAD. Company promises a refund in the purchase rules but does not honor the refund even when requested the same day of the purchase. Have been emailing the, repeatedly for 2 weeks. With no response or refund. That is over $100 of a users hard earned money swindled. Learn from my loss. Do not trust this company. Countless emails and time and money wasted. Hopefully I save you from the same.

As mentioned by last review it’s so hard barely syncs

When I first downloaded the app, everything worked perfectly. A few mistakes here and there, but easy to correct. Now? SO MANY MISTAKES! Major grammar issues, missing punctuation, no capitalization of letters. This app has gone to trash in the last month!

On 11.8.25. I stated “soon to be best in class”… Unfortunately, I was wrong and I say this primarily for a few disturbing reasons:
1) this app is advertised as being available on iOS, macOS, and web, but realistically, it is not available at all on Web if you have any level of privacy protections toggled on in your browser, whether by default or by your own doing AND the macOS app is just shockingly bad. As to the web point, I attempted to use brave, Orion, Safari, Firefox, and Dia, and each time the respective browser I was using categorically blocked me from accessing the website, indicating it was not safe. At first, I thought it may just be brave’s shields and heightened privacy protections but, nope, any level of privacy protection effectively breaks the website. I found this to be very no bueno;
2) I initially signed up and subscribed with the Apple sign in but hide my email function and all was going well until about 10 days in when I inadvertently logged in by manually typing my Apple email and password, which for reasons completely unbeknownst to me, automatically created a second account tied to the same Apple ID, albeit one of which was the alias email Apple assigned to me when initially signing up. I quickly reached out to the developer via email who, in fairness, promptly responded asking what my account ID was in addition to the email I wanted to use moving forward to which I responded and provided the requested information. Unfortunately, nothing happened and I lost access to all my files and data and eventually with - I’m not sure maybe eight days left in the subscription - ended up regaining access to the Pro features but in a completely blank account which naturally deterred me from using it altogether for the remainder of the term.
If you were paying a not insignificant amount of money to be a subscriber of any app, I don’t care how techie the developer is, in no world should 100% of customer service inquiries be handled over Discord. Discord is, by all accounts, one of the worst apps when it comes to communicating information with any, and I mean any, expectation of privacy in the information you are communicating. Case in point between August and October 2025, 70,000 government issued ID cards were leaked and approximately 1.8 billion messages were accessed by hackers, as well.

I am revisiting this as of 11.8.25…
Pros:
- UI is clean / note taking within the app is easy and intuitive
- AI capabilities are robust
- Responsive developer
Cons:
- the main issue I have is that this is predominately an iOS app yet its share extension is weak. If your functionality is predominately based on iOS as opposed to web, macOS, etc., your share extension abilities must be robust.
- way too expensive

Initial feedback:
Calling it now - this will end up being the best in class AI note taker because the developer understands how the app is meant to be used by his/her target audience. It’s so much more intuitive than anything out there including Reflect, Kortex, Recall, Mem, Notebook LM. Those currently do nothing, with the exception of Notebook LM, that you haven’t already been able to do with Apple Notes anytime over the past 5 years.

This app is terrible because you literally have to pay for it just to record 5 minutes downloading this app was just a waste of storage.

So this app need you to pay for membership to be able to use their app. They have 3 days for free to try out. They want to you log in with google or Apple ID . So, I think they should have descriptions that show on the payment plan before anyone who wants to download. Not just show on the apple searching app. There was very small icons that shows need payment. For me, it does kind of confuse with $$$.

Its useful however you have a certain amount your able to use and then have to pay more if you want to keep using the app.

App recently and randomly changed name. Websites don’t work. Price for the Bluetooth recording device also went up overnight without any warning. This has “rug pull” written all over it. It’s all very suspicious.

When I use the app today and it says my free recordings are over but it still is taking my monthly subscription..this thing is terrible
