I am trying to set this up and although I pressed English the app is in Korean and I can’t understand what I’m doing!!

Tried for a whole hour while waiting in line. Ran my battery down thinking it’s my fault! It just doesn’t work. Scan for chip never works! What a terrible app. Why even bother putting up signs everywhere. Invest in better working technology!

super laggy and buggy, not to mention the language switch didnt actually work the first time and i had to toggle it multiple times for it to work.
also the fact that i had to finangle the orientation of my passport for over 5 minutes with only the help of other reviews is honestly ridiculous.

Disappointing
This app is amazing in theory and worst in its practicality. The “NFC” chip read part to register your id is absolutely frustrating. The app requires you to register your id. However it cannot scan the supposed “chip” that is in the passport. There should be an alternative way to verify passport.
Useless
Does not work. Crashes the moment you attempt to scan your passport.
Time saved
You save about 15-20min dodging the initial line but once you pass the face scan booth you get slotted into the same TSA line
Disappointing Experience
Neither boarding pass option will work for registering. Cropping screen shots of the mobile, scanning the paper version at the airport, and this in on top of the K-ETA not working with Gmail or Outlook. Koreas digital entry experience is definitely lagging behind their neighbors.

I think Korean Government just collecting personal info. I scanned passport, it did not scan QR code or barcode. I tried so many way. I wish I did not give them info.

Wish they put a disclaimer that it only works for certain passports. Wasted ten mins trying.
Nothing about this app is functional
Scanning the passport is a pain. This did not happen to me but I’ve heard others try to scan their face for an hour with nothing on their face or head. They eventually gave up. Then after that, it did not take ANY QR code boarding passes no matter how clear, how big or small the QR code is. This is just the worst app
Difficult to use
It’s impossible to scan the barcode, it’s difficult to use and the “helpful” guide has ZERO guide! Wish I could give it 0 stars.

Terrible app. My iPhone 14 Pro won’t read the chip on my US Passport, which was issued recently . So I can’t register properly.

Doesn’t read the boarding pass
Tried both QR code and barcode on the printed boarding pass. Never worked. When you get closer to read the barcode, the app freezes the camera and it won’t focus at all.
Waste of time
Developers clearly didn’t bother testing the product before publishing. Garbage app. Don’t waste your time.

This is the absolute worst. It says to take the picture with no glare. I have a U.S. passport and avoiding the glare is unavoidable. This is a complete waste of time. For others who are saying that it worked for them, they just got lucky.
Doesn’t not register boarding pass
Directions aren’t clear. For uploading passport, you have to open the book and scan sideways instead. The boarding pass wont register either. Tried uploading the QR code & scanning my boarding pass.. still not working. Seems like this is a common issue..

Scanning for UFC chip doesn’t work
I tried going slowly along the front and back with an iPhone 15 and it would not show me a percentage. Tried multiple times. A video of someone doing this successfully would be nice

Who developed this app? It is shame that Korea made this kinds of a poor app. Someone who developed this app doesn’t care it works or not. And I am not the only one who gives one star.
The NFC READING is not support APPLE APPS
Same n been scanning more than 50 times which is keep telling me that it is not able to read . They didn’t bother to solve the problem n it cause so many people need to have long lines to get through customs.

아무 것도 인증이 안돼네요. 여권부터 50번 해도 인증 안되며, 스마트 전자여권도 인식 못하는 앱입니다.. 앱 개발자들 프로그래밍을 잘못한듯.
