Useless App
My workouts continue to get interrupted and not save. Why can’t you fix the instability issues. Don’t force quit a workout when the cause is on your end. My latest workout claims it was a Bluetooth issue and exited a workout with a message saying you’re aware of it. It was an ab workout which has nothing to do with Bluetooth connectivity. Seriously!!! You continue taking people’s money while we can’t even finish a workout. It’s BEYOND frustrating.

If they can’t follow the simplest of business practices, what else are they doing wrong?
The number of tries it takes to get the app and the treadmill to connect (the only reason I keep it) can take half of a five mile run and/or half a dozen attempts. Not to mention, the content really isn’t any good. I have free apps that offer better trainers, better content, and better interface.

Disappointed with updates
No longer shows current rpm in quick reference, why would somebody care about their average rpm. Clearly designed for non-athletes or ppl who aren’t fit. Videos automatic resistance changes don’t align with the videos, your time starts the moment you start spinning your bike. Clearly IT kids that don’t workout themselves. There’s a reason peloton is better
Everything but the apps and UI is great!
Love the iFit bile and trainers, what I do not like is the app/user interface. If I am looking for a bike series workout on the bike it sucks. I choose browse and then filter, the. Pick series, choose Europe and nothing shows. Why? I cannot even choose bike, series, non studio, and level for the bike like beginner intermediate or advanced even though if they took the time to make a filter I would be able too. Especially on the using the bikes UI! If they fixed that I would give iFit a 5+!!
Oh the Roku app UI is just total garbage. It will do nothing for browsing and the search is horrible. They should pay a high school class to make something new instead and it would be better than what they have.

So defective
Ifit is the program on my elliptical. The program will not allow you to adjust the settings in anyway. Try to get to the settings back to the welcome screen try to change the welcome screen back to the welcome screen. Try to do anything back to the welcome screen. Spent two hours on the phone with iFIT today. No result. No solution. I now have a $2000 150 pound paper weight because the elliptical will not work without iFIT.
Poor workout
The video buffered ever other minute and didn’t allow me to actually do the workout
Search results are inconsistent
I have a Pro subscription as a secondary user on a main account. The results don’t always show up weirdly and is a hit or miss. If I search “Grand Canyon” nothing shows up. If I search the same terms at a different time, it shows up. Please fix this inconsistency as it’s incredibly frustrating to not find the content when you are at the gym.
Another buggy, unreliable iFIT iOS update
Each update from iFIT seems to introduce new bugs and doesn’t resolve the most glaring existing ones. Cadence is still missing from the menu, chart is hidden by default every time I start a workout and has to be re-enabled, app still crashes and freezes. These issues are more than just annoying, they actually impact your ability to have an effective workout. For a company that produces both the hardware and software, it’s amazing they can’t get them to sync together properly.

The app stopped working. As others pointed out - all you get is a blank (black or blue) screen. No workouts. Not even manual start!!! C’mon ifit, fix it already!
Terrible App Still Bad
I pay for a subscription. App takes forever to pair with brand new treadmills at my gym. Fails to save workouts. Tries to save before I’m done. And I can’t get support. Steer clear.

I bought an expensive treadmill in November and enjoyed it for a month although I wasn't able to get my heart rate monitor to synch. Then came the December app update. Since then, when I attempt to load the app, it displays a black screen. This happens on iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 16 Pro and, M3 iPad Air, all running the latest OS and regardless of whether I'm connected to cellular, slow wifi or fast wifi. So I've owned this treadmill for five months and I've only had full functionality for about six weeks. NordicTrack keeps extending my subscription, which is the least they can do, but I'd a lot rather have the app I paid for. DO NOT buy NordicTrack fitness equipment in hopes of being able to use it with iFit.
At least it’s free (at first)

They seem to sell your data immediately
I downloaded and signed up for this and immediately began receiving a call from a national gym chain (now blocked and I’ll block all of them). I have not downloaded any other fitness app ever. I suspect these guys sell info. It makes me sad that I gave them info at all. Beware.
Black Screen
Has not worked since last update. Boots up to blank screen only…multiple devices. I have deleted and reinstalled app with no change.

Can’t pick the metrics you want
The new format is awful, and it doesn’t allow you to fully pick the metrics you want to see. I am on a rowing machine and I cannot see meters rowed, I get the useless watts. They need to allow you to pick the metrics for your workouts BEFORE you go into a workout. The actual workouts are great but the new interface sucks.
Frustrated
Opened to a black screen. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It’s still broken
App logs out every other day.
For a $15.00 a month subscription, it is 100% unacceptable to be logged out every other day. Today it must have logged out mid run. I only pay for this service so that I have accurate stats with my Apple Watch. Because of this logout I did not get credit for todays run.

I have to connect every time I use my home treadmill and press go on the treadmill and the app? And it costs money? It is a horrible app. Cannot wait for something superior. We have self parking cars and AI can write coding…this is the best we have? Too many steps. No thanks.

Also, there is only a stop or pause in the workout. There is no like 10 second rewind so if for some reason you have to go to the bathroom or pause to answer the door or anything like that, you have to try to like start moving before hit play to get back in and it’s a huge pain in the butt.
Their little checkmark chart of what you get with each option is not correct. I’ve even contacted them about this lie. They’re aware of it, but have not fixed it.
The AI beta test powered coach is not available with the $16 a month plan it’s only available with the one if you have one of the machines … spending stupid machine money is not something I will ever be doing.

Buggy and not user friendly
It’s very buggy to create an account and it pushes me to pay for a subscription REALLY hard. Even after creating the account, I can’t use the Nordic Bike. Very frustrating app considering they take your money which isn’t spent on application development….

Doesn’t load on iPhone16
I have an ifit account with my NordicTrack rower and the only way to get my Apple Watch connected to my rower is using the app on my phone. Except when I open it on my phone, it’s a big blue screen and nothing else.
Black screen of death makes app useless
This used to be my go to app for cardio. But lately all I get is the black screen of death.. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but nothing works. I am questioning why I am paying for this if they cannot fix it to work on the iPad I can still access it if I go to android but if I wanted to watch it on a tiny screen, I would have put it on my android to begin with. Please fix it.

Open the app and get nothing but a black screen. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled, powered off my phone, turned it back on, what am I missing? Or is it you, not me? Fix please.
Update fail
I’ve had the ifit app for years and it’s great. But this latest update does not load. When I try to open the app it gets stuck on a black screen and doesn’t ever load. I should not have updated it.
Content library issue
My current dashboard on the treadmill will not load my content library/profile and it has nothing to do with the power for the treadmill l, treadmill is working just not loading my profile and Bluetooth is not connecting
Ruined my new bike.
The new software updates have made my new bike unusable. I make it about a minute into a workout before the workout ends and everything freezes.
The app asks for feedback but doesn’t let me submit it. Now I spend more time trying to get my bike to work than actually working out.

Used to be decent
Doesn’t save my workout, opens to blank screens. Takes forever to load. AI coach doesn’t respond half the time. I used to love this app especially on my treadmill. Now it takes forever. I’m better off doing a fast run than spending 20 minutes waiting for the app. Not worth the high price tag.
Bad with updates
I have been using iFIT since 2019. It originally came with my Nortictrack treadmill. I loved it and how it paired with the treadmill and followed the trainers speeds, elevation,etc. However, once the promotional subscription runs out Nordictrack wants nothing to do with iFIT problems and iFIT wants nothing to do with Nordictrack problems. IFIT makes you renew with a new subscription that costs more and there are constant issues with the app pairing to the equipment. No one wants to take accountability for the errors and blames it on equipment being out of date or a “legacy” model that they no longer support. I used to love iFIT, now I want to continue using it but it is incompatible because I take good care of my equipment. Very disappointing that this can not be addressed or resolved.

Joined with the best guess live 2 months free. I can’t stand auto renewal nonsense, but usually if you join then cancel right away, you protect yourself from getting charged for something you end up never using. This thing may be great and I’ll want to renew, but I despise the strategy they’re using. Get you to sign up and make it a nightmare to cancel. There is literally no place on the app or website to cancel. Already irritated. Fix this and I’ll change my rating but as it stands this is scummy

Dark blue screen
The app starts up and just goes to a blank blue screen and doesn’t change we tried everything I can and it happens to both mine and my wife phone and tablets. Is it a bug or just the app that doesn’t work?
Major issues
Wi-Fi is dropped all the time on s22i bike. Lose workouts and app crashes. Can stream from iPad or iPhone with no problems.
Doesn’t work
Just got my X24 two days ago …. Screen doesn’t work on the top half and this app (and they know this is an issue) will not send data to apple health anymore…. Probably returning the entire thing if a fix isn’t released soon

Most bike workouts are out of sync with the trainer, making the app useless.

No stability
On the Apple app and watch….Sometimes it works, when it does. It’s fine. Most of the time it doesn’t. Currently the app won’t wven load on my phone. Garbage.
Terrible software stability
Don’t buy ifit indoor bikes. The trainers are great the software is terrible. I’m 4 out of 4 indoor bike rides that have crashed before I finished. At this point ifit should have figured this out. Buy something else.
