Dissapointed
I got this app because of a free music app and I regret it. I’m sorry but it gets me frustrated because it lets you make a playlist but when you click on the song you want it plays something COMPLETELY different. I’m disappointed and sad now that this music isn’t what I enjoy and this app should focus more on the actual music than payments.

Corporate Ruined the Only Good Thing about IHeart Radio
No words can describe how I really feel. I listened to Off the Bench after work for the past 2.5 years now. Corporate cuts for one of the biggest sports radio shows around just doesn’t make sense. Can’t wait to see who makes more $ now at top. Hope it was worth it, won’t download again.
Worst listening and business experience
I listen to a local board cast that covers the news ima national and local level. This program has not only cut off all available to listen to this broadcast but never gave me nor the host a fair warning that this would come about. You would think that a station that says it’s #1 would have the decency to relay all important information to its listeners and customers but yet it did not. I hope the 2018 bankruptcy happens again to you. I will continue to tell me friends, family, and local community to never add this company to their household.

Ads gotten ridiculous, while listening, if it stops for a sec, it goes straight to an ad before taking you back to the station, by the time you get sent back to the station, you’ve missed the whole segment. Used it for many years with no issues, these ads are out of control finally deleted it!

Only local republican news channel canceled. Jon Justice was great for 10+ years. But now iHeart took it away. Deleted app and information.
Not loving lay offs of seasoned fantastic broadcasters in the Lehigh valley. Limit endless ad loops.
The way you disregard your amazing local broadcasters in the Lehigh Valley is disheartening and disturbing. You can’t tell me that there was no other way to trim costs. Local radio is the heart of small and medium MSAs and you are missing out on loyal listeners that support your sponsors. Lastly, your Ad loop algorithm seems to be endless. Are 5-10 mins of ads really necessary every half hour?

I just deleted the app. Your mass firings across the country are disgusting! What to replace morning shows with another syndicated show? Gross! Another example of how the rich (Ryan Seacrest) gets richer and middle America dies.
Lack of local staff and DJs
Since you decided to fire all the local talent on the Erin the Davenport Quad city area I have chosen to delete your app as I will not be listening to any of your stations. If I wanted to hear what was playing in Florida at the same time as what was playing in Maine in California I would’ve gone to SiriusXM.

Love the app, but not North Carolina/Virginia Radio Station
I enjoyed listening to the radio on here, but I’m not too happy about 92.1 The Beat into 92.1 BIN Network… The last radio station that was broadcasting was really good, my everyday radio station, but now it’s replaced with the most worthless station I’ve heard… Nothing but same news everyday, they talk about under circumstances conversations, and it’s making the highest radio tower to be worthless to listen to… But I’d say, NPR is a lot better than BIN

For months now the app has just been stopping after every song that plays. I’ve tried restarting and updating but so far nothing has worked.

Buffers/stalls when others don’t!
Utterly sucks. Buffers/stalls CONSTANTLY! Problem is in the app, not my service. Apps with audio AND VIDEO (YouTube, Amazon) run smooth. Fire your engineers. They should be ashamed

Paid for add free, but still is not add free.
So I have been trying to put up with this for a while. But after an almost 5 minute long add for a podcast I couldn’t care less about, I am done being nice. I am paying for an “add free subscription” I expect no adds. That means when I open the app (when it doesn’t crash) not to have an add for this station or that artist or this event. When I am listening to a station I don’t want to hear about this “exciting new podcast” about who care what it is about. I want to enjoy the music I am paying to enjoy without adds. Seriously if you are forcing me to listen to or present me with adds, then might as well stop changing me for a service that you definitely do not provide.

Everything you might want here is either gated behind a paywall or doesn’t work properly with buggy, complicated UI smashed between advertisements, and in general is an indecipherably complicated mess of an application.
Endless commercial loops
This app stinks. All I want to do is to get in and listen to my local news and you get stuck in endless loops of commercials. When trying to listen to 700 WLW for news back home, all it does is go into commercial after commercial commercial. It has been doing this for a while and it’s not a glitch. This app is it disappointment.

They say it’s free, but you can’t even listen to your playlist without paying they throwing random songs that you don’t like when you just wanna listen to the songs you picked out

You get to hear two songs for every 8 commercial is ridiculous. I won’t ever purchase anything from these commercials and hope others refuse to as well. About to delete this app permanently and just go back to iTunes.
Stopped Working
I have been using this app on my 2025 Mazda CX 90 Apple Play. From 5/20 to today 5/24/26, the app just will not play. I deleted and reinstalled the app. Signed in and out, but it will not work.
Freezes constantly
Plays on home network, then freezes. Change channel, plays, then try to switch back and it won’t. But it will keep playing commercials related to the second channel separated by silence, then more commercials. This app used to work…

App crashes when sharing CarPlay
The app always crashes within 1-3 mins of opening in CarPlay. It crashes when it shares CarPlay space with another app (eg Waze) or apps. This needs to be fixed asap!

Glitches, cuts in and out, never connects to the station, freezes then closes out. Do better
Glitchy and over crowded
One of the glitchiest apps for podcasts. Pods will repeat content halfway through, skip content and freezes often. Have had same issues one multiple phones and will great service of WiFi connection. They also throw in so many added podcasts into the thread of the actual podcast thread. Makes it very cluttered, and hard to scan and search for older episodes. Be better iHeart.
Good but has an odd flaw
The app works like it should and it’s nice to listen to favorite stations or podcasts. But the ads in Spanish (about a quarter of all ads) makes no sense. I don’t speak Spanish and have no idea what is being said.. No one likes ads to begin with but having them delivered in a different language is extremely odd. Could see if it was location based but that wouldn’t even apply
Huge disservice to the actual stations
Love some of the shows you can listen to. However, listening live to any station is spotty at best. You start getting spammed with all of the ads and if you stop and play again, then it goes back into the radio station, but the app eventually learns that you’re doing that and makes you listen to old songs from early 2000s and you know that because if you stop and play it restarts the song. It will also play ads in different languages, even though you set your preferred language in the app and I have reached out to the help department to get it fixed and they have done nothing. It is really sad because I know that customers have reached out to some of the radio stations and DJs asking for help with us they have sent the complaints to their bosses and nothing gets done about it, but the spamming of ads is way out of hand. I get that you have to have ads to make it free, but when you have ads so much that you can’t even listen to the actual station, you’re trying to listen to, it’s crazy. Plus, they run the ads mid sentence of someone talking and then when you go back to relisten in the podcast version still the ad cuts them off mid sentence.
Should be called iHeart commercials
There’s so many commercials, non stop. One after the other and only plays 20 mins worth of radio then cuts out nd then straight back to the commercials. But this the only way I can get my info from my original state while living in another state
