I don't hold my phone in my hand, I play a list, set it down, and go to work. I do not want to hear what someone else likes, or I would listen to THEIR playlist.
If you are looking for something where you start it and start working, similar to a custom made CD or tape, or even an old LP, skip this. You cannot just pick what you want, start it, and listen. This is more like my great grandchild does when she finds the remote to the TV!

After I downloaded your lame app
You lame app froze my device, had to cycle it , so I could unload it. You should probably work on that, freezing devices.
Non stop ads
I listen to my favorite morning show on this app and end up missing half of it. If you’re not paying attention and refreshing the app frequently it will not go back to what your listening to and just continue playing ads until you realize and refresh. SUPER ANNOYING
iHeart ads
If you love ads then this is your app. They’ve gotten so bad that you can’t even send a voice to text message without getting an add to resume the radio. Their “presets” are just ways to make you listen to unskipable ads. If there is any other way to listen to the program you want do it that way, this app is terrible
Just stops playing
For months now the app has just been stopping after every song that plays. I’ve tried restarting and updating but so far nothing has worked.
Ads before I hear anything else
Loaded app, picked a couple stations and I’m forced to hear ads each time I load the app before I hear any content. I’m going back to real radio.

IHeartRadio, the huge conglomerate that bought all radio stations has ruined KFI. Fired all of the news people fired. Dr. Wendy Mo. Kelley moved Conway to a time when nobody listens to the radio can only hope iHeartRadio loses interest and sells at once great station back to someone who cares about radio and not these stupid podcasts

I listen to Iheart regularly and I’m always entering the code to win $1000 well every time I try to enter it I get a message stating the website is not working. Then I requested for them to at least give us the name of the winners so we know it’s a real contest but I got no response.

Terrible company
What a terrible company this is. We have listened to the news junkie since the beginning. How do you let 1/3 of the show go. And Sabrina??? She’s the best part of the entire show. Your company is garbage and you just ended the top talk show. What a bunch of idiots.

So this program thinks it’s okay to make us watch a video (radio program dummy) just for changing the station. Also 9 commercials back to back is a deal breaker. Get you stuff together or get replaced by a better music program. Only upside is may the 4th radio station.
Add Shortcuts integration
I have no issue with iHeart, other than the fact that you cannot start playback from iOS Shortcuts. I’m sure this is to protect your precious ad revenue somehow. So, I’m leaving, and now you get 0. Great thinking.

Worthless updates
I will no longer update your app, I am sick and tired of iHeart forcing this unwanted, biased, stupid content with no way of removing or turning it off.. I do not want to see or hear ( Stupid ) TicToc mentally limited people who think they are someone but really are just wasting oxygen and breeding more mentally limited people or these ( Biased ) whining one sided personal political opinion podcasts. I don’t want a radio dial or presets, this isn’t my damn car and I don’t need to be dumbed down to use this app unlike the person who thought it was a great idea and should have been fired for it. I don’t want rankers cause frankly I don’t care about others outside my circle or what they are listening to, I’m not a sheeple like you are trying to suggest or force me to be. Pretty sure there is a law about FORCING unwanted content and personal political propaganda content onto a customer without consent or option to remove/turn off said content per your own words. So when the app outdates itself and makes me update I will cancel my 25 year running contract with iHeart and hit the delete button. Maybe some other streaming music provider will be happy to have me and provide me with only what I want not what iHeart wants to force me to have or should have based on a mentally limited person’s opinion…

I have canceled my subscription as this is the final straw. The heart radio app is just useless to use. I am telling everyone to cancel their subscription because the app is useless.

Go to a MP3 player it’s free and no ads if you were smart enough to only buy music that you can download to the computer and save as MP3. The only way to go.

Fix 20 second repeats
Can you just fix where when I start a live broadcast or live podcast so there’s a repeat the first 20 seconds of the podcast again. This has been an ongoing problem for years and iHeartRadio seems to not know how to prevent this from happening.

Use to be a good app for listening to podcasts in the car. Now can’t listen to new podcast till the next day couple time a week.

Keeps getting worse
3/25/26 the app is a mess and disorganized. UI actively obfuscates the ability to find your favorites and access content. Can’t make playlists with podcast content.
The latest app eats up battery life like crazy. I can have the phone plugged in and charging with 4+ bars of signal strength and still the battery will drain faster than it chargers, ultimately causing the phone to shutoff until the battery charges again.
Please fix this battery-hogging app! The previous versions never wasted so much battery power as this one does.

Ads ruin it
I get that ads help make it “free” but cutting songs off halfway for 4 mins of ads, or just now, 21 minutes of ads nonstop.. it’s too much…Makes the experience not worth it.

Updates haven’t been great with CarPlay. A lot more freezing of the app and dripping of songs

I love this app but I’m a little disappointed with it the one station I really like basically one of the only ones I listen to 105.9 country from the southern states tells me it can’t be played in my country sad part is I live in the same country like two states away maybe someone can help me out from the app support I deleted it reinstalled it updated it and updated my phone and still doesn’t work what am I doing wrong???
very buggy
This app has some serious bug issues! I’ve actually only been able to listen to the music twice on this app, all the other times it will not play the music, no matter what station I decide to change it to. I’ve tried several times updating the app, updating my phone and checking my phone service to make sure there’s no issues there. My Pandora radio plays just fine with no issues. so the problem is definitely on your side. I can’t even enjoy your app. Will you please fix these issues?

May 2026 - I turned on an Orlando radio station instead of getting the Orlando radio station I got iHeartRadio news. I also got ads for iHeartRadio podcast. Why bother if they’re not gonna actually broadcast the radio station, and that radio station is local news and weather

The worst podcast app
Can’t delete downloaded episodes. Too many pop up ads. It’s like it’s engineered by DEI woketards

Why does this dam app always log you out?! 😡
Almost a good app
If you create a station for an artist, don’t expect to hear much from that artist. I set up a Pink Floyd station. I got 1 song from Pink Floyd, the next 25 songs had only one Pink Floyd song. The rest were anywhere from CCR to Moody Blues to Lynard Skynard to Fleetwood Mac. If I want to hear all those artists I would set up a station for them. This app is a joke. I’m still looking for a decent app to subscribe to.
Updates Driving Me Away
A recent update means that the app will not function without an Internet connection meaning that even it songs that have been saved for off-line mode are not accessible. The app is not accessible. It will not even start up. It will just lock your phone up nearly unusable now while traveling which is why I have your service. I will end my subscription if not corrected.
I hate this app
Nonstop commercials, I mean, nonstop I’m trying to listen to KFI and I have to listen to like six or seven commercials sometimes I could get them to go away, but I think I think they figured out that trick. By the time you get to the actual radio station, you’ve missed the news.
Crashes Frequently
Love the stations offered on the app-especially all the commercial free ones! I listen in the car and use my steering wheel controls to change stations frequently. After 6-7 changes, it crashes. It’s consistent. I hope that gets fixed soon. It’s really annoying to have to restart the app on your phone.
