Total fraud
Went thru walgreens. Didn’t want dvds, wanted to download onto pc. Haven’t had a dvd player in 15 years. Paid $175 No email communication. Got on site, said 1 week to dl otherwise call for permission to download. I kid you not. I call. On hold for 45 minutes, whole time #1 in queue, w the time remaining 2:15 & 3:15 for the whole time. Refusing to pay for cloud, says if i dont pay, videos will be deleted. Watched the YouTube video provided for help. Comment section full of complaints and turned off. Contacted Walgreens to get my items returned, still not a single email during the whole process. Got $150 back. Vhs tapes returned, thank you for that. This is a scammy front. Do not use this company.

Waste of time and money.
I sent in original negatives from my parent’s wedding from 1958. The pictures I received back after paying for AI enhancement had strange lighter swirl marks on some of the pictures. This may have been from marks on the original negatives. But I could have used a basic photoshop utility to blend in the lightened marks. If AI can restore faded and grainy pictures as has been advertised. Then I’d like to know why this company could blend the colors/shade of lighting to create a clearer picture.
Very disappointed and sent in an e-mail sharing that with customer service & have yet to hear a single thing back from them.

Terrible playback
This service is great in concept but the playback is terrible. Pauses and freezes while audio still playing in the background. Not a WiFi issue, strong signal provided. Unreliable and no easy way to get real tech support or report issues other than email which has gone unanswered. Hard to enjoy a family night reliving old memories as intended with the bugs. Sure would like to see it fixed.
Scam, shady deceptive business practices!
Paid a fee to have old videos converted to digital, when I paid it said shipping was free! Lies lies lies. Later they sent me an invoice to convert the video and a fee to ship things back, twice what I had already paid. They told me I didn’t pay for the video conversion but that I paid only for the cardboard box. If I wanted the video converted I had to pay extra, if I wanted anything done I had to pay for shipping, otherwise they were not going to do anything. Then they asked for additional fees to make the video look better… everything is an add on and there’s no free shipping! It’s all a scam! Read other reviews!

Both the Imemories app & website tools need lots of work!
Neither the app or website tools are easy to use to make simple edits & even the emails to support resources lead to instructions on how to do simple things like trim a video that simply do not work as described.
Bad quality & cut videos
The recording of my videos were a very bad quality and the biggest issue is that every video starts with the last one second of the video before that. It is like they didn’t cut it at the right spot. It makes it really hard to find the video you’re looking for.
Crashes on Apple TV
This app, at least on the Apple TV, is completely useless. I enter my username and password, it opens, displays the Imemories animated logo twice, then crashes. To reopen it I have to re-enter my username and password, but it does the same thing - crashes. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
Terrible Misleading Customer Service
Company deleted my album after I paid for the service. When I saw I had 13 videos archived, I re-subscribed to learn that iMemories deleted precious family memories, and will not allow me to access videos I paid to have digitized.
Don’t do it
I paid a ridiculous amount of money to have my videos put on my phone and now they want eight dollars a month for me to view/ access my own videos?
Most-innovative Wired Ranking is a joke
Took ten days to learn that it would take this company one week to understand that it had precious slides and photos to digitize in time for a 90-year-old’s 90th birthday party. The four week turn around time-an industry best according to company’s AI assistant on Instagram or their website-was beat by 3-1/2 weeks by a private lab in San Diego. Save yourself the headache and avoid FedEx shipping and go to a smaller, private lab where your event is being held. Also, you can avoid cumbersome apps or portals and just own your own data, on your own devices.
Just horrible.
Keeps kicking me off after going through the process of logging in. How can this be? The service has been nothing but great, up to this app.

If you don’t download within 30 days they DELETE everything and you have to resend everything back. And you have to pay again. Customer service is also rude.

Buggy App
I love the service, but the app is horrible. Only can see the pictures in the album initially and then as soon as you scrollit goes to showing only one preview. Only works on the browser. This has been the case for years. Come on, iMemories. Fix this.
Broken
I haven’t been able to access your site unless I go directly through imemories.com . The app is broken, so I will pay to get my videos out in physical form and will have to go. I have been a loyal subscriber for many years. It’s too bad, I even put up with the amazing slow upload time.

Took my money and failed to deliver the service
I requested a refund which they refused to give me. I had the app one day. It didn’t work. I couldn’t upload videos which was something they advertised, and they kept my money. The correct thing for them to do was to return my money since they failed to deliver the product they advertised. Buyer Beware!!!

Every time I try to download my videos the app crashes. It is terrible! And they want $69 (already paid $250+ for the video transfer) to put the videos on a usb drive. I should be able to download directly to my iPad.

Have been a longtime IMemories user but only access sporadically. The app doesn’t load properly. Can’t upload from phone. Ridiculous.

Completely worthless. And we pay for it dearly. Find a better option. Shame on you iMemories for now allowing us access to our videos AS PROMISED. SHAMEFUL.
Disappointed
Very disappointed in the quality of the videos that I paid over $800 for. Can only see them on my phone
Don’t recommend
I sent them VHS and 8mm. Then i was charged a fee from them to digitize my memories. I paid thinking that would be okay…my memories are all over the place, meaning not in order, also now, after paying 692$ i am being asked for a monthly fee or yearly fee. The digital memories aren’t clear and some have lines through them. So not the best quality and also if I want them physically I need to pay more. And I can’t even download the digital memories to my computer or a disk without paying more money.

What’s up with this App?
Lousy phone app - needs a major overhaul. I am unable to see my videos. I have better luck going to iMemories on my phone via the internet. Very disappointed.

Several years ago the app was amazing. Why they “upgraded” it is beyond me. Please fix the app and bring it back to its former glory.
Terrible app
I justDownload the app and there’s absolutely nothing working on it correctly. Nothing is uploading, there’s not even a space really to put anything, and I’m trying to figure out how to get a refund on this app. There’s no way I’m spending $8 bucks a month for something that does nothing.

The app is the worst!!! Ever since I’ve downloaded it years ago it crashes within 5 mins of it being opened. No matter if I’m looking at photos or watching videos it crashes. I emailed the company and they told me to make sure my updates were done (check), make sure my internet connection is good (check), delete and redownload app (check). Did all the above several times over the years and it still crashes. Not worth having the app.
Save your money
1) They were able to transfer about 20% of our videos due to “copyright” issues. These are home/family movies!
2) Not clear on the plans up front. The monthly charges are ridiculous to store your videos on the cloud. Once you add up all the one time and ongoing fee’s, definitely not worth it. So many better options.

This company is a rip off. They gladly excepted $900 of my money and they proceeded to delete my memories. False advertising! Do not use! Buyer Beware!

Streaming video just doesn’t work
Do I spent a few hundred dollars getting old videos digitized. The entire process was great. However, when trying to stream through the app, the video constantly freezes and continues to play sound but the video is frozen. Give stars for the process but one star for the app. A streaming video service that won’t stream is pretty useless.

Sometimes the sound works without the video, and other times the video works without the sound. I have tried restarting my phone, redownloading the app and have not had any success. It’s disappointing because I know my parents paid a lot to have these videos saved.
All was fine at first…
Two nights ago I tried to view my videos. They say the video length times, but when I click on the videos, it says 0 minutes viewed and 0 minutes remaining. I immediately emailed and haven’t received a reply. I have spent SEVERAL hundred dollars and I’m VERY concerned about this.
