Issues after issues
I had maybe 6 within 4 years because I had to keep replacing the 2 I have. It’ll just stop working out of nowhere and it’s impossible to try and contact support to fix the problem. It’ll just start blinking red out of nowhere and I just be praying it’ll start back working by itself. And it moves without anyone touching it. This the last time this happened and I’m done. Just not going to buy anymore. I’ll still to ring cameras.

I got 2 devices. And both of them got online. I didnt know what happen it just suddenly turn it offline. We are trying to figure it. But it really doesn’t work. How can you fix that? Your customer service is unreachable even your contact number. I will never recommend your product.
It doesn’t work properly
I have the camera for two years and everything was fine till the new updates came several months ago. Your mobile app and camera should be on the same network to see the live view. It means you cannot check your house when you are away anymore unless you purchase their cloud service. Not happy with this change.

Useless product I subscribed I cloud and is activated but It doesn’t record and have no storage , no alerts notifications it’s blank

Don’t buy it. You will be disappointed when you try to reset it. I have moved to different area and I have been trying to reset it. It’s a hassle.and you can’t even get help with it

متاسفانه دائما ارتباط بین دوربین و مودم قطع میشه و نمیشه به دوربین دسترسی داشت. دو روز کار میکنه و ۱۰ روز قطعه. این دوربین ها داخل ایران به دوربین های اسباب بازی معروف شدن. هر وقت کار آدم گیر میکنه، این دوربین ها هم قطع هستن
No More Notifications?
This used to be a very reliable app. I’ve had it for years. But noticed now - the alert notifications for motion detection are no longer coming through? Thus I am giving it 1/5 star rating.
I’ve played around in the IMOU Life app searching for the notification settings… which are enabled. My notifications setting on my Apple iPhone are also enabled for the app… I wish this bug could be fixed as it is pointless to use for security reasons.. at this point I’m just relying on RING for security purposes.

Horrible app
The app is not user friendly at any means. I’m always pressing all the buttons to figure out how to check the recordings, or if there’s any. The app doesn’t let you watch the recordings if the device is off, which to me makes the app useless. So if you’re away, you get your house broken into, the burglar turns off your camera, you wouldn’t be able to see any recordings it may have! This will be our first and last IMOU camera. We will just stick to EUFY cameras.

Don’t update app!!
Since the last update my app literally crashes upon opening. I can’t view my cameras!!! My SECURITY cameras that are supposed to help with my family’s SECURITY are now completely useless!! Spent so much money trying to make sure I keep my family safe and I can’t do that because whoever is responsible for this last update FAILED!!!

Terrible app
It changed me to two step verification without my permission - now I have to check my email every time I use it for the code to unlock it. It’s a pain in the butt and makes my cameras useless. If I hear a noise at night and want to check my camera i have to go through the whole stupid process just to use it. Thanks a lot app people- you guys are terrible!

New version can not working
After upgrading to the latest version, my camera stopped working, there are no notifications, and when I checked the SIM card storage, there were no recordings. Everything has failed.
Apple should interfere
The recent release has disabled the manual removal of videos from sd card and forcing people to buy cloud storage. I'm surprised how apple's strict qc guidelines let this pass.

Terrible Customer Support
Took 2 days to respond to my first support email and still have not responded to my second support email.
The app on the computer is different than iPhone so the description on how to perform a task is not clear.
Set the language in English and during the chat, it goes to French so not sure what is going on.

Don’t do business with this company ….. this company is a con.
Scam they have the worst support. I have been asking for months to cancel my service. They tell you to go to their app and cancel your subscription, but the app won’t allow you to cancel if you email they will ignore and continue to charge giving you the same instructions so you only go in circles trying to cancel it. Going to have to cancel my credit card to get rid of them really bad service sad.!!!!!!

Cameras fail to record. Only show certain recordings but there are times that it goes without recording even when there’s movement.

In Iran, it doesn't work at all and the IMO Life software shows the camera offline. The company was informed, but they did nothing.

Difficult to use. Lots of glitches. Desktop app will run for an hour max before it crashes. Impossible to unsubscribe. Support is nonexistent
Terrible streaming
This has terrible streaming problems! The pictures seem to be OK when they do come out but when I want to go on and look at one of the alerts I get an ad that comes up first because I didn’t buy the service. It says you don’t need to buy the service, but now there’s ads! When the video finally looks like it’s gonna play, it plays a little then stops, then plays little again, then stops! I can never watch a full video without interruption, constantly happening! It’s terrible.

I purchased their Imou Versa Camera and was unable to obtain a manual so I contacted Imou customer service and was advised at this point they do not have a manual in existence. So they are selling products without manuals. And the app does a lot of tracking .

worst customer service
i use to use it for few years with Dahua DVR but in the last few days it stop working and they told me we are not compatible with Dahua anymore. i have subscription on cloud and imou protect with auto renewal now i can’t access to my account to canel it , they ask me to send the device tag which in my other home 7 hours flight to cancel the account. no refund for the remaining period and auto renewal still valid with my visa account and i can’t cancel it. i send email and they asked my to chat online which they asked my to send email. no support at all worst customer experience ever and not recommended at all.
