On 04/20/2026 I was charged for a membership price of $74.99. Due on going circumstances in my life and oversight I forgot to cancel the trial subscription. I am kindly asking for a refund please.
Should not cost money
This product is basically a copy of Khan Academy or any other short learning app, however this one has the lack of shame in asking you for a subscription before you’ve even used it and to further make it less trustworthy they don’t use the normal process processing through your phone they want you to sign up on another site so that you will have to remember to go there to cancel. This is an app for dumb people, save your money and use the same free knowledge they are trying to charge for.
Less than one star?
DO NOT BUY. The account management for the app SUCKS. The controls are very unclear and clunky. Our family appears to have paid twice but I still don’t know. When reached out to support for the app they sent my in a circle.

I downloaded imprint for a trial. I was supposed to be notified two days before the free trial ended but I never was. They just charged me an annual fee.

This is such a scam! The AI generated ads make it look like a game. They literally call it a logic game. If I wanted to read and take quizzes, I’d go back to school.

Pay to Improve
This app shows you through various courses of interest such as history, philosophy, psychology and sciences, and then forces you to pay for everything it advertises across the internet. There is a single free course and it is a very short thing on how to improve a morning routine. Not worth the download, just watch some video essays instead.

I reached out stating that the auto-renewal wasn’t through even though I made steps to prevent that. I have been waiting for a refund and have not heard back from the company.

There aren’t enough modules to justify the cost. it’s limited. very disappointed in their free trial process. i recommended it to people and their trial ended early too forcing them to purchase $75 app subscription. their customer service does not reply.

I was excited about this app at first, but then I saw I had to enter my credit card information to get a 7 day free trial. If that is how this app operates it tells me everything I need to know. No company/app/person that claims to help people would behave this way. For that reason, you get an instant delete.
Scam!! Loads of Extra Fees
I’ve written to this company five times to try to get them to stop deducting fees and no one gets back to you except an automated reply. There are all kind‘s that just show up on your bill and they do nothing about it. Don’t Use!

Would rate 0 stars if possible. They advertise themselves to be a game meant to help people with mental health and other education. Not only is it NOT a game, you cannot even use the app if you do not agree to a free trial.

Fraudulent Charging
Tried the trial, cancelled subscription while still on trial. Took a screenshot that I did in fact cancel. Woke up today with them trying to charge me $75 for a year. Luckily bank asked me if it was fraud. I will NEVER use this app again because of this.
Falsely charged
Signed up for a trial. They state you will not be charged for the subscription and they will notify you before trial is over. This never happened and I was charged for 74.99 without my knowledge and no notification the trial was over. They refuse to refund me. I did not find this app to be got me, very basic courses.

Misleading
I have a bad doomscrolling addiction where I’d spend hours mindlessly and pointlessly absorbing loads of information that I don’t even care about. So, I was excited to replace that with information that would help me grow as a person and break my bad habit. I couldn’t even start a lesson without needing to pay a subscription for it. Social media is bad for the brain. But at least one thing they get right is that it is free and accessible to everybody. This is advertised as a replacement for doomscrolling. Yet, to do anything more than short, free “daily reads”, you have to pay a subscription. I understand the need to make money in some way shape or form, but please advertise this as a paid service instead of a social media alternative. Social media has the impact it does because it is so readily available to everybody regardless of income, and maybe this would be too if it was more clear and honest about what it actually is
Just another scam
I wish I could mark no stars at all. I don’t understand how people would be able to keep an app without even trying it. After the interest questions you expect to try it and if you like it you’ll pay the full version. If you try to open it, it gives the same message- “are you ready?” There’s a “special gift box” with different % discounts and asks you to choose the trial. WAIST OF TIME!!

I hate an app that lets you go through the whole process of singing up and giving your information to them without informing you that you have to buy a subscription to access anything on the app until you’re ready to start the lessons. pmo
Scam- beware
I tried this app on a free trial, tried it out the first day and realized it wasn’t for me. Cancelled the trial before it ended and then forgot all about it until I was suddenly was charged for a yearly membership. Had to cancel AGAIN. I have reached out via their email address now 3 times and not a single follow up response. Impossible to cancel or get a refund. Would not recommend

I’m extremely disappointed with the Imprint app and their billing practices. The app advertised free cancellation until November 21, but I was charged before the cancellation window ended. I was planning to cancel because I didn’t like the app and only used it once during the trial.
As soon as I saw the charge, I emailed their support team requesting a refund and cancellation, but I never received any response. It’s very frustrating to be charged early and then be ignored when trying to resolve the issue.
If the company advertises free cancellation until a certain date, they should honor that timeline and allow users to cancel before charging them.
I’m still hoping the Imprint team will refund the charge and confirm cancellation, but so far the lack of support makes this feel like a scammy experience.

I was still billed after canceling my subscription
I canceled my free subscription after signing up due to my lack of internet. I went through the whole cancellation process and it stated I wouldn’t be billed. They still charged me after the fact. And it’s not a regular subscription that’s located in the apple settings, you have to cancel it via their website.

It’s fake. The ad clearly states “I’m addicted to this game” with candlestick charting as context. None of that is true. There is no game. There is no candlestick. This is fake AF and companies that do this are the problem. It’s why we can’t have nice things. Lies!!

Money Grab
The whole thing wreaks of being a soft-sell for a subscription… all of this info is online for free, and easily accessible with a quick google search. You have to click through their offers of a free trial for a whole 5 minutes like Temu and then they push the DuoLingo-like 50 streaks so you keep using the app and turn on your notifications- you know the deal…They’re definitely not there to “free you of scrolling”. They’re there to cash grab at your wallet.
