Stupid game if you can report someone so easily for being a wrong age. I am 27. I think I know exactly who reported me. He was a disgusting person looking for someone who was 12. When I finely told him my age I could tell he was annoyed at me. So if they let disgusting people like that on IMVU, I do not want to go on the app anyway. Real people like me get booted off just because someone says I’m not my actual age. That’s messed up.
I think it’s a glitch
Recently they have gotten rid of the bottom bar when you join chat rooms were now you can’t go to she shop and can’t see any or your messages and ive noticed way more people are off now please fix this
Too many notifications
It feels like every hour there’s a new notification, a new message from IMVU about some convoluted event that more than half the users do not care about. All it does is crowd up the notifications bars with NO option to toggle off or disable promotions or deals. Absolutely annoying. I don’t want alerts about these ridiculous things I only want alerts when I get a message from my friends. But no, we have to be completely inundated with irrelevant information that doesnt matter to us every single hour. Absolutely ridiculous that we can’t just block the profiles that send these.
Ruins relationships
This app ruined my marriage and family my wife was on here and became addicted to this app and then it made matters worse that she decided to cheat in real life

Why did you guys update and change it to where you can no longer be in shop and in a chat room at the same time? Now it’s lame, making all the wrong updates. IMVU get a grip.

Things that you need to know before using this app. If your account get hacked, there is no phone number that you can call you have to put in a ticket and God knows how long that’s gonna take for a response while people spend your money in your bank account. Please be careful when using this app. This company needs to provide a phone number for faster service.

Well this is extremely disappointing. I was looking forward to opening my old account back up to play once again. When I tried to log in it’s stating that my account is unknown.
After doing a bit of research it seems like my account was deactivated according to other members who have had the same issue. I’m incredibly upset that all the years of love and support I gave to this game is wiped.
When I tried to submit a support ticket and I wasn’t even able to send it in. The fact that you don’t have any accessible form of submitting a request for customer support is beyond ridiculous. Please fix this for all returning and current players.
Update : I was finally able to get ahold of the support team. After sending in another request I was informed that after a year of inactivity the account is deactivated. Thus, all of the money and time I have spent is gone. To all of the current players I wish you luck. The support for this game is atrocious and do not waste a dime of your hard earned money.

Predator’s Playground
It’s a great concept. But they do not monitor Predators. Even if Users report rooms and players, they do not remove them. The sheer number of rooms that cater to “Littles” “Daddy’s” “DDLG” is disturbing. There are creators who cater specifically to children’s clothing. The clothes show body parts and even nudity. Until they get a handle on the Child SA, it is not a safe place. The minimum age is 13. DO NOT LET YOUR CHILD DOWNLOAD THIS APP.
Get it together
I’ve been on this app for a long long time and i do enjoy the updates as far as the live rooms and all that but when it comes to the audio and how when I host an event anyone comes in and my entire audio messes up! I’ve spent money on this app like a nice chunk of it! And yall still want me to continue to invest money and get subscriptions yet there is all these problems! Glitchy rooms, crashes, it’s bad enough I can’t even fully access my account like I want to because I sign in with facebook and I have since changed my email on my facebook and it won’t change my email on my VU account! How am I supposed to age verify?! How am I supposed to be able to use my name change token?! That old email I can’t even access anymore it’s an old Apple account! Which means I have to make a new one? Do you know how much money and time I put into this account? The idea that I might have to start over is both ridiculous and inconvenient. I can see why people go to second life 😒. I enjoy VU, I enjoy the friends I’ve made and the cool things that the app has to offer but there is so much yall need to fix! Maybe focus less on the style voting thing and focus on making sure things work properly or making it easier for people to update emails! Things like that! Maybe stop randomly deleting people’s accounts! People who create people who have so much saved and then it’s all gone. There are real people on this app who should have their accounts taken but as someone who’s been on since damn near 2017. Please get it together! I’d hate to have to delete this app and never look back.
Please Do it
Make it so you can search inventory, when someone uses a item it does not make their avatar start to jump and down and glitch, also would be nice if you made it to where if you left the imvu mobile app for a little it would not make you crash from whatever room you are in and also make it so you can be in more then one chatroom at a time
Don’t Waste Money
Years ago I invested a lot of money in this. They permanently banned my account saying I was making money off them/scamming them. I tried to email back and forth with them, with no luck.

I tried to sign in and it just sits there and doesn’t sign me in. I also even tried making a new account and it still doesn’t work.

Going backwards
I was excited for the update that I can use chat and check my message and show me at the same time. But after taking a break for several days, it’s like it’s not even there anymore so when I’m in a chat room, I can’t check my messages or shop at the same time. Is there a way for me to go back or is this the recently new update again?

I don’t understand why did the Navigation bar got removed from when you join a chat room in this new update? One of the best multitasking features the game had and simply gets removed like this? Nonsense

Text for chatrooms and searching for events is so SMALL NOW. It hurts my eyes trying to adjust to it… I am on an iphone 11 for reference. Please put the UI back to normal. these unnecessary changes are just ruining the app and loyal players experiences.
