Something about my photos being wrong when they were regular and no way to know which ones to update and it was glitching when I was guessing and uploaded new ones

I would love to know what genius convinced these people that users want to sit through a stock photo video intro each time you open the app. It’s painful. Once it loads, it shows you random people from around the world - like Raya, only less hot people. And forcing people to name their “hotspots” - as if that makes them more desirable for dating - is super cringe. I could say more, but just trust me that of all the dating apps I’ve used, this is the worst and there is not a close second.

I just signed up & the app threw errors about every picture I uploaded...but uploaded them anyway? There's no way to tell if your profile edits are saved. No save button. I currently have a 'score' of 4.00 (refers to how many members your profile is shown to), but my profile is still 'under review,' so who is seeing it?? It's like someone's friend, who just learnt the basics of making an app, made this app for free. User experience is not prioritized.

This application needs a lot so it must improve because the approval process is confusing and I think they really don't have a basis or specific reason why they don't approve your application they simply show you that you haven't been accepted and without further explanations I think you can do a better job than that… :)

Bad Practices
They purposefully don’t allow you to send super likes to certain people by taking the button away. I just think they want to keep you on the hook so you keep paying but don’t actually give you (or allow you to get what you paid for) the connections that will actually allow you to create a meaningful relationship and get off the app. It’s a very unethical company

It’s possible that this is the worst dating app I’ve ever used. I could roll through the endless list of what’s wrong with it, but I’ll focus on the main things. First, no ability to communicate with other users. If I want to send someone a message, or match with someone, we both have to be paying members. If I send someone a message who isn’t a paid user, they can’t even see it. Second, no ability to filter by proximity. What do I need with someone who is 500km away? Even 10km is too far. Even when I look at my own profile, it shows me in as “recently near…” a place I haven’t been in 9 months. And the map that depicts this is so small (with no way to expand) that you can’t even really see where a person is. I’m deleting my profile. For all the promise of quality and exclusivity, they should focus on creating a good UI. Don’t give these people your data.
Verification problem
For more than 2months now, my profile is still in the verification process after filling in every detail and uploading many pictures. This is frustrating. And I can't take anymore. Let me wait for one more week and I'm deleting off my phone.

Not good at all
There’s really no valid reason for paying to use the basic functions of an app. So I can currently message users I match with but I can’t view or respond to their message without either paying for premium features or getting other users to sign up for the app. I successfully did so in the past and after reactivating my account I have to go through the whole ordeal again just so I can read and reply to messages with current matches. That’s so dumb

Terrible facial recognition
This app has the worst facial recognition feature ever. It’s taken days for them to respond to my photo to verify. I will be deleting this app, most dating apps verify you right away while this app takes its precious time. Do not use this dating app.
Worse than its contemporaries
I can’t leave a proper review, because I waited for two or three weeks for my profile to be approved. This never happened. I wrote them about it, of course, as surely a person can be verified, even if they don’t do social media (something other apps have figured out). If you’re looking to download a dating app, I would recommend you waste your time elsewhere.

You can't do anything if you don't pay
This app just doesn't make sense. The free version basically doesn't let you do nothing beside creating a profile and liking/rejecting other people. But then you can't read messages that are sent to you, can't see who likes you, can't write to anyone... It just doesn't make any sense and is quite useless IMO. The concept is just flawed and it shows how the purpose is definitely not about helping people finding matches. Plus, you can find similar profiles on other apps...
Update (response to developers): oh I did! I actually paid for a month to see what it was all about. And yes, you do get decent profiles from time to time (like in many apps). But my issue is not there. The problem is that I don't understand why if you don't pay, you can't do NOTHING basically. And that it's not worth paying quite a bit for the minimum that you'd get for free on other apps. Not to mention that the friends you must invite in order to be able to read your messages, are themselves able to see likes and messages, but you cannot! How does it make sense, I still don't know...

You can’t talk to anyone unless you pay
This company’s focus is to get you to pay for their super expensive membership. If you don’t pay, you can’t send someone a message, you can’t view the messages you received and you can’t even see who liked you.

I created a profile, and they blocked my account during reviewing process, I’m emailing them and they don’t reply. There is no option to delete data, which is ridiculous.

I downloaded this App in July 2018 and my profile is still under “review”. Now September 2021. Brought it up to customer service and promptly ignored.

Downloaded app. Stated my profile needed to get approved, but to “speed the process up” I could “invite single friends.” I get on the next day. My account is blocked. Absolutely ridiculous. Everything is spelt with “ou” from foreign countries. For example- Behavior is “Behaviour.” Waste of time, I NEVER leave reviews, but I wouldn’t waste a second of your time.

So apparently I downloaded this a long time ago and forgot about it. I logged in because I was tired of the other apps and wanted to change it up a bit. Apparently I made one and was waiting for verification to actually use it. My bio is super old, probably 6-8 months old. Why am I still waiting for you to message me and verify me

I applied for it around two months ago and my profile is still being reviewed. Why do you think you are so important that people will wait for it? And from the other reviews, once you are approved, if you don’t spend money, nothing will happen. After putting many pics it says it still can’t verify my picture. Good luck with it, you will def need it 🤮

I can’t even get past the first profile pic upload. 😒 There’s no option to ask for help or give feedback, so I’m left with giving a poor review.

I rarely make time to write reviews but this app is so bad, its justified.
I’ve been waiting for 4 days and haven’t been approved. I’ve invited friends. I’ve filled every inch of my profile and I still can’t get pass the first screen. My friend who did get verified couldn’t read her messages until she payed or invited friends. When she finally ‘unlocked’ the feature by inviting some friends, she could see some messages but couldn’t reply.
After reading some of the reviews and my short experience with it, I will be closing my account because the app is just not worth the hassle. It seems there is no way to enjoy this app at all unless you pay and apparently even after you pay it’s still not better than some of FREE available options out there.
I get the “exclusivity” thing but this is just ridiculous. If you want my money, make a decent app that is worth paying for.
