No hay garantías para los shoppers si el cliente dice que no se le entregó el pedido habiendo pruebas existentes de que si se entregó en la dirección correcta, instacart no verifica y envía correos de que está en riesgo de desactivación la cuenta, lo mismo pasa con los artículos faltantes por más de que se incluyen en la compra si el cliente dice que no está, así es y ya y siguen enviando correos de posible desactivación de la cuenta.

This company is a lie
I was a platium star and i have had the worst shopper experiance with this company. I was stressing bc i was gonna loose the star staus i had and so I contacted the customer support and was TOLD by them my star status was good after i explained the life situation i was in. Well i get up this morning only to fond out that was a LIE and only to find out they DO NOT care about thier people who work for them. I hate a company that lies to people and refuse to make it right to show they care instead they just keep repeating the same old you have to do this to get it back and blah blah blah i stead of trying to make it right. Just be careful if your thinking about joining this company because you dont know if your getting told the truth or a lie!

So I was driving for Instacart that was until I realized how badly they were screwing their drivers over! The higher the tip the lower the pay. I live in a very small town and my friend who drives for door dash makes every bit $400.00 a day. Me driving for Instacart and doing way more work by shopping and delivering I’m lucky to make $180.00 a day. It’s actually greedy and pathetic! Needless to say I don’t drive for Instacart anymore. I now drive for Amazon. They at least appreciate their drivers and pay a liveable wage!

I have Diamond cart status and even then this is not worth your time. Latest update will give me notifications about orders and 99% of the time they have already been scooped up before I can even look at them. You’re better off flipping burgers for minimum wage
Not worth the stress
Because Instacart has hired so many shoppers it’s not worth doing it anymore….. you sit around all day long burning gas in your car and might only make $50 for the day whereas some shoppers are seeing good paying batches all day 7 days a week and making $500 a day….. but Instacart doesn’t see anything wrong with that….. they only show certain shoppers the high paying batches while the rest of us are left picking at the scraps

I can’t verify my identity because the camera won’t take my photo…but it doesn’t matter, this app doesn’t have any jobs worth logging in for. I’ll just put it in the trash with DoorDash
Instacart cuts shopper pay after the fact and support shuts down complaints
I’m an Instacart shopper and had my pay reduced after completing an order, even though I followed all policies and clearly communicated with the customer about out‑of‑stock items. The customer lowered the tip after delivery because the store didn’t have what they wanted, and Instacart’s system allowed my total earnings to drop for something completely outside my control.
When I contacted support, they repeatedly copy‑pasted policy about how “tips are up to the customer,” refused to apply any adjustment, told me I wasn’t eligible for tip protection, and then closed the chat even after I explicitly asked them not to. I provided all details and screenshots, and they still refused to escalate or correct the pay reduction.
People need to know that Instacart does not reliably protect shopper earnings. Even if you do everything right, store inventory issues and post‑delivery tip changes can result in money being taken back from you, and support will hide behind policy instead of fixing it.

Discrimination against Asians
Hello, my name is Wu Lin. I have encountered a very unfair treatment, a terrible complaint, and severe discrimination. The manager of this supermarket, 410 N Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, IA 50023, has a history of severe discrimination against Asians. The manager publicly told other shoppers that he hates Asians because they work too hard, causing white Americans to lose their jobs. I do work hard, but I also love this job. I cannot allow my hard work to cause white Americans to lose their jobs. Your company doesn't stipulate how many days a week, how many hours a day, or how many orders a customer can handle per day. You simply listened to the supermarket manager's words and restricted my account without even giving me an explanation. This is a very unfair situation. What's wrong with me working hard? What's wrong with being Asian? I work hard because I need money. It's not my fault that my hard work causes white Americans to lose their jobs. I hope you can reply to me soon. I really love your company. I hope you can help me.

I've been working for more than 3 years and this is the most difficult year of my life because Instagram introduced new statistics in Seattle and now it's not even possible to earn $100 for the whole day, this is the stupidest change my shopping quality hasn't changed in half a year and I don't know what to do anymore, I have 5491 completed orders and now I can't even get gold status

constant verifications
the app keeps glitching and asking me to verify my identity after i complete every batch and then when i open the screen to verify and scan my face it does not work and will not let me complete any batches without scanning. this is very frustrating and prevents me from completing any batches while i am not connected to wifi as the scan will not work on cellular

Instarcart se a vuelto una aplicación muy pésima ahí mucha injusticia y a los Shopper le bajan su nivel cuando el cliente hace un reporte injustamente las propinas son una miserias y no solo es ahí clientes que piden más de 20 aguas con 0 de tips y lo chistoso es que lo juntan la orden con un cliente que si da buenos tips deberías de poner un límite de agua y exigir que den el 30% de tips y hacer que los Shopper puedan apelar a un reporte

The app is good for orders, but customer service is so trashy, they take a century to respond and there are customers who only out of malice report you and this app believes them they don’t even ask you for proof, customer service does not solve, I have had thousands of problems paying and when I write to support they only leave the chat and it’s time to restart another chat, without a doubt this app needs an improvement

First time leaving a review.
I’ve been working with Instacart since 2017 at first it was GREAT! I would get orders often would keep me busy. But these past couple of years as a veteran my order volume has dropped drastically. Also the quality of orders I receive. My ratings and metrics are excellent. To where u should be getting orders often. I see new shoppers going in and out while I’m outside waiting in the parking lots. Instacart needs to change its structure of working. Veteran shoppers should be prioritized above new comers. This week I have turned the app on everyday from 8am until 7pm. I have made. $0 this week from Instacart. I now have moved to other apps and they definitely treat me better than Instacart. And I have been with these other apps for years as well. I never leave reviews but this week has been horrible leaving me to leave a review.

This app is complete trash, instacart is the worst of all gig work opportunities. Save yourself time and energy and don’t even do it. Metrics suck, support sucks, payment structure sucks.
Some very important features need to be added
This has been a great side gig to make money and for the most part the app is does an awesome job at walking you through your shopping trips/deliveries. However, there is one BIG ISSUE that I wished instacart would fix....PLEASE MAKE A SETTING THAT YOU CAN TOGGLE ON OR OFF FOR MILITARY BASE ACCESS! Door Dash has this feature and it's a smart one to have especially if you are someone like myself that lives near them. I've had 2 orders in the last 2 days that have required base access, I don't have base access. When you zoom on the map to see the general location prior to accepting the order, it doesn't always show you if it's on a base or not. So both times this happened I had already shopped the items, paid, and was on my way before I found out. Both times I had to turn and return items. Please figure out a way to add something like DoorDash has to ensure that people do not waste their time. Also, doorDash has a feature where as long as you have arrived at your pick up location on time, if there are any issues such as long lines or other delays that are out of your control, you are able to let them know that so that they can adjust your time to ensure it does not affect your rating and it also updates the estimated time of arrival that the customer sees as well. I understand Instacart is different than DoorDash, but I do believe Instacart should have a very similar feature because I have had several trips where the lines have just been so long or other things have unfolded at the store that is out of my control and because of that, it has caused me to be late delivering the items. Yes, I always of course communicate with the customer, but it can affect my metrics on the app nonetheless. Please consider adding some of these features!
Fun app… needs improvements
This app needs to specify which store can accept digital Vs physical cards when shopper looses card . This is convenient. Also Instacart support for shoppers are so petty. They do little things that are so weird like hanging up some guy named Robert ended chat before I got ask question and other things.
