I keep getting suspended because they think my softball picture inappropriate which they are not made several accounts and didn’t post once on those several account in less than 10 minutes I got suspended for nothing I didn’t do anything wrong they have to do something about this because how stupid this is this AI needs to get smarter.

Ive had my instagram account for years and now all of my old stories, memories, messages, followers ect. are gone because my account suddenly got disabled for no apparent reason and the only thing i can talk to is an ai?!? I'm not using this app nor facebook till they fix this ai problem or give me my 3-4 year old accounts back because thats js crazy.

Instagram has banned every account I made for no apparent reason and they don’t give you an option to appeal they say I don’t follow community guidelines when I’m not even using the app I made a new account maybe two weeks ago and I post on my story a lot then reopen the application and then it says how I need to confirm my identity asking for verification from fifty different ways like my phone and Gmail then ask for my id just for them to not give me back my account. I do not appreciate this app. I’m tired of trying to post and find followers when they ban me everytime.this has been going on for two years now.

Updating this review to say: I do not need an AI summary when I am saving reels! Every update makes this app worse and it’s frustrating when saving recipes to have a bunch of extra nonsense.
Either get rid of all of the Meta AI or allow users to turn it off in settings. It was annoying in chats before and it’s even more annoying that every single search generates a paragraph of irrelevant text. I do not want it or need it. Make it optional!!!

Meta ai sucks
To check accounts Instagram uses meta ai to make sure that the person running the account is of age and following community guidelines. Now there’s nothing wrong with this it’s a very good system if meta ai was actually a good ai, but it is not. It has flagged multiple accounts incorrectly and when given information still flags the account even if extra information given is valid. This whole system would be better if an actual person reviewed any flags.
Hold Instagram accountable
Been suspended since June 11, disabled since June 12. For a community guideline I didn’t do. child exploitation. Instagram gives no evidence and proof as to why you are disabled. They do as they please and keep suspending new accounts created. It causes users like myself lots of anxiety and pain. Meta Ai doesn’t help because they don’t care about its users, even an meta agent (human) told me they don’t care. Instagram needs to return all the accounts they wrongfully disabled to the rightful owners. Shame on you, do better.

New update adds terrible “feature”
A new update now adds AI generated summaries of videos. I have no idea why on Earth this was added, and I currently see no option to remove it. This is not something I want at all. I will also submit a report, but for now this is the only other way I know to let my displeasure be known.

Meta and Instagram uses AI technology which makes mistakes and wrongfully flags, disables, and bans account accusing them of CSAM. They also monopolize social media so now I can’t contact any of my friends. Ban ai and hire humans!!!!!
Before Meta
This app used to be so much fun. You would only see the people you’re following. You didn’t get thrown a bunch of ads or suggestions. It wasn’t all about selling things. It Was about cool pictures that you shared with your friends. It was also in chronological order, which was amazing.

Hate the recent update. This is my first time ever writing a review, but I have honestly never been this angry in my life at an app. Every time I go to save a reel or post it automatically-without me asking-provides an AI summary that is utterly UNNECESSARY! I would understand if I ask or prompt it, but when I am TRYING to save a piece of content, why would it assume that I do not understand it?!! It is like I am a kid who cannot understand basic context skills, cues, clues, and most importantly god dang ENGLISH for goodness sake. I am a grown adult. I am not illiterate, and I have a perfectly functioning and educated brain. I went to school, all the way to higher education-thank you! But even a child could understand some of the content it's providing a summary on. LIKE A SHIRT?! Why would I need a summary on a freaking SHIRT of all things!!!! I just want to save it, not get something I can see from JUST using MY OWN EYES!! Seriously, please just stop it with the AI. It's a waste of resources. A waste of my time. And most importantly, I DIDN'T ASK FOR IT :) So please make this setting optional, be able to turn off, or place it somewhere else/make a different button for it. There’s nothing I hate more than suggested posts in my main feed. I want to see posts from the people I follow, and only them. If I want to see other accounts, I will go looking for them.
Yes, there’s an option to “snooze suggested posts in feed” but it’s only for 30 days, so I have to constantly go into my settings and turn it back on. Even then, I STILL get random accounts popping up in my feed, I guess because I’ve “caught up” even though I know I haven’t.
It’s just so annoying that there is no permanent setting to customize how I want to experience the platform (or even one that simply works the way it says it does) the way you can with pretty much any other social media site. Even tumblr lets you choose how you want your feed set up, it’s such a low bar to clear 😭 Instagram I am begging you to just give me the option 😭🙏

My Instagram account @im.sheralii was permanently disabled even though I have never violated Instagram’s rules. I was accused of violating policies related to child exploitation, which is completely false. I immediately appealed, but my account was still disabled.
This account has been active since 2022 and had around 2,000 followers. I used it to stay connected with friends, family, and my community. I have seen many other users reporting similar issues, yet there is no way to get real support, even for verified users.
Please improve the review process and provide actual human support for users whose accounts are disabled by mistake. Losing years of memories and connections because of an apparent system error is extremely frustrating. I respectfully ask Instagram to review cases like mine more carefully.

constantly glitching, each update makes it harder to use, the algorithm is repetitive and incorrect a lot, and the search function is soooo bad and useless.
5-Year Account Disabled by Broken Automated System. No Human Review, No Transparency
Instagram disabled my account of 5+ years due to a flawed automated system that incorrectly linked it to another account. When I submitted government ID twice, both appeals were denied automatically without human review. The real reason for the disabled was never disclosed during the appeals processes. I only found out by contacting Facebook business support. The automated system is still broken and there is no accountability. Still unresolved.
